Baidu said that the small fish at home VS1 smart video speaker based on DuerOS can enable users to provide families with services such as multi-party video calls, information sharing, video entertainment, encyclopedia search, facial recognition, child protection and smart home in the way of natural language dialogue, and further reflect that 5 functional highlights: multi-party video calls, massive audio and video resources, free switching TV, Baidu search, and family cloud album. In addition, this stylish video speaker was designed by the former Sonos speaker designer.

Baidu's positioning of Xiaoyu at home VS1 is "home media center", which takes family as the unit and VS1 as the center to carry out family content interconnection and content construction. At the same time, Baidu also brought Sengled intelligent desk lamp and popin Aladdin intelligent dome lamp on this CES, which are also based on DuerOS system. Baidu said that Xiaoyu VS1 smart speakers at home will be officially launched in March 2018, and the selling price is unknown.
