Qualcomm officially launched its new flagship processor, Snapdragon 845, at the beginning of December. After the success of Snapdragon 835, the Android camp can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Previously constrained by the poor performance of Snapdragon 810 and 820, the Android camp was once in a very passive position. Nearly half a month after its release, GeekBench finally saw the score run of Snapdragon 845, revealing that the model of the score run was Samsung SM-G965U1, suspected to be Galaxy S9 Plus, the processor model was SDM845, and ARM implementer 81 represented the Snapdragon Kryo core. If nothing unexpected, it should be the Snapdragon 845 processor.

In terms of score, its single core score is 2422, and its multi-core score is 8351. Although the single core and dual core scores are far from Apple A11, they have significantly improved compared with the current flagship Android processors, namely, Snapdragon 835, Exynos 8895, and Kirin 970.

It is reported that the Snapdragon 845 is manufactured by Samsung Foundry and adopts Samsung's second generation 10nm LPP (Low Power Plus) FinFET process, which is more advanced than the 10nm LPE (low power early) FinFET used by the previous generation flagship SoC such as Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895. The new CPU core Kryo 385, with four three transmit cores, has a main frequency of up to 2.8GHz. Qualcomm claims that the CPU performance has improved by 25%~30%. From the current score, its processor performance is indeed in line with Qualcomm's expectations.
