HMD returns with Nokia's former king aura, Both Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 have won many fans' support in China, Both the European version and the Hong Kong version of Nokia 8 have been launched in September, and it is rumored that the national version of Nokia 8 will be released in China on October 19. The Taiwanese media ePrice has already obtained Nokia 8 and made a simple photo comparison. Its opponent is Apple's new iPhone 8 Plus, the current king of the mobile phone industry.
The original text of ePrice did not carry out sRGB color conversion for iPhone samples. This article carries out conversion, sample splicing, comparison and analysis.
The configuration of Nokia 8 includes the Snapdragon 835 and dual 13 million pixel black and white dual camera scheme (360 mobile phones have been using the black and white dual camera scheme several years ago, and some domestic mobile phones will use it later). The main camera is Sony IMX258 with optical anti shake, which supports phase focusing, with a unit pixel of 1.12 μ m, and still has a Carl Zeiss certified lens.
In terms of photo taking experience, both mobile phones enable automatic HDR, Nokia 8 has a dual color mode, which is processed by mixing subphotos. However, in weak light, the film forming time will be slow and the film forming rate will decline.
Actual film
Daytime Scenario 1
Zoom in at the top of the center of daytime scene 1 (the tolerance of Nokia 8 demo is tight, maybe HDR is not turned on)
Daytime scene 1 central zoom in
Daytime scenario 2
Daytime scene 2 central zoom in
Daytime scenario 3
Daytime scenario 4
Daytime scene 4 is enlarged at the lower left corner (Nokia 8's image edge has a certain degree of distortion and image quality degradation)
Daytime scene 4 is magnified to the right of the center (Nokia 8's HDR algorithm has a high trigger threshold, and the dark details here are difficult)
Daytime Scenario 5
Daytime scene 5 central zoom in
Daytime scenario 6
Daytime scene 6 central zoom in
The actual film performance of Nokia 8 in the daytime is standard, basically in line with everyone's expectations for the optical anti shake IMX258. The image sharpness/discrimination is average, with slight sharpening marks, low strength, and some edge degradation and distortion. Facing the top competitor, the iPhone 8 Plus, even in the daytime, it is difficult. Its metering is not very stable, and the trigger threshold of the automatic HDR is higher than that of the iPhone. In addition, it has the trace of raising the contrast. Some scenes with large light differences are prone to dark areas. The white balance and saturation of Nokia 8 are relatively normal, and the color is slightly brighter, but it is more "elegant" in front of the iPhone with significantly higher saturation.
When it comes to weak light imaging, The performance of Nokia 8 is more general, There is no comparison between ePrice and iPhone. Even if the ISO of Nokia 8 is only 400, the details are obviously smeared, After ISO reaches 1000, there is no obvious noise, but the saturation of high sensitivity decreases significantly, and the detail performance is also average. Even with optical anti shake, IMX258 and ordinary algorithm tuning, Nokia 8 is still embarrassed when it is put in front of the opponent with large unit pixel sensor.
