Qualcomm hopes to prohibit Apple from producing and selling iPhones in China.

Christine Trimble, a Qualcomm spokesman, said that the iPhone's Force Touch touch screen technology and power control technology all use Qualcomm's patents, and this is only a small part. Apple phones use a large number of Qualcomm's patented technologies, but Apple has not paid the corresponding fees for this.

On October 14, Apple issued a statement in response to Qualcomm. Apple said that they were willing to pay reasonable fees for Qualcomm's patents, but they believed that Qualcomm's patent fees were unreasonable, and they believed that Qualcomm's lawsuit would fail.
