The front design of the packaging box is very simple, and the center is a huge live image of the product, with Zunte's English logo and model marked on the corner.

On the back, the model, rated power, speaker impedance, sensitivity, size and quantity of speaker units, wireless Bluetooth transmission distance, battery capacity, product size and other parameters of the product are carefully marked in Chinese and English, and the specific information of the manufacturer is also detailed.    

Environmentally friendly materials, simple design, warm color matching, some low-key taste, from these details can often reflect the design style and philosophy of a company.

The quality is very good. Although it doesn't look very bulky, I tried to pull it, and I can feel it is very strong. The color of the metal interface is even, and the material is also good.

The length of the two lines is about 60cm, which is a little short. It is inconvenient in actual use.

3、 Appearance and details

Most people will be "appearance party". Even for equipment such as audio, they will also care about the appearance. Products with high appearance always attract people's attention.

Zunte M16 adopts a flat and round shape design, and uses the structural combination of integrated aluminum alloy metal cavity and cloth mask. Fashionable and modern metal materials and retro cotton and linen fabrics make it look fashionable and retro. The diameter is 18cm, and the maximum thickness is only 4.9cm. It is small and convenient to carry.   

M16 has three colors: vast grey, rose gold and technical silver. Various colors have different styles, which can be selected according to the use environment and preferences. I received rose gold. The integrated metal chamber uses 180 aluminum alloy multi treatment process. After careful polishing, the Zunte M16 has a very good grip, soft and delicate touch. The cavity edge adopts CNC drilling technology, and the edge gloss is very high, which is more high-grade visually.

The joint between the fabric mask and the cavity looks regular on the whole. However, because the mask structure is made of plastic material, it will be less accurate and more prone to deformation, making some joints a little large, but not obvious, and having little impact on the appearance. In fact, the workmanship of a less than 300 audio system is very meticulous.

The oblate box, which needs to be placed vertically, must be fixed with brackets. M16 is equipped with a metal triangle bracket as standard, and the end of the bracket is covered with a rubber cushion, which ensures the stability. At the same time, the bottom of the audio is also equipped with a rubber strip, which plays a very good role in protection and anti-skid.

This tripod needs to be made of solid materials, but the workmanship is a little rough. The burr at the corners can be clearly seen, and the rubber sleeve is not very tight. It has fallen twice, and the third time, it has not found one. In fact, the experience and quality of products can be significantly improved with simple processing in production.

All input and output interfaces of Zunte M16 are concentrated under the back bracket. They are: charging interface DC-5V, TF card slot, charging indicator, AUX audio input. Because the ports are all under the corner rack, it is better to lay the audio horizontally when plugging and unplugging the connectors.

The control button is placed on the top, covered with a long strip of black rubber. The surface shall be marked with standard identification symbols to indicate their respective functions, which is easy to understand. From left to right, power switch, play/pause, volume -/previous song, volume+/next song, handsfree/MODE.

It may be because the hard rubber material is used, and the touch of the key is hard, which requires a lot of force. One hand operation uses the index finger to press, sometimes it may feel difficult, and it can only be pressed with another hand. However, it is also good to avoid accidental touch.

M16 is a beautiful decoration with fine workmanship, round and lovely shape and high face value. It has a literary style and can be well integrated with the home environment.

It supports wireless connection, easy to use and convenient to move. It is a very pleasant thing to listen to music, read books and pass the time at home. Although the sound quality of other stereos at home will be better, they are much less convenient and use less frequently.

At the same time, it also has an interesting function. The audio is equipped with a pickup, which supports handsfree calls. If there is an incoming call when the phone is placed in the distance, you can directly press the handsfree key to make a call without having to run to pick up the phone to answer it. It is very convenient.

As a Bluetooth audio, Bluetooth connection is the most common and basic audio source input mode. It is easy to connect. Turn on the power when you use it for the first time, and then directly turn on Bluetooth in a laptop, tablet or mobile phone. After finding and connecting the JONTER M16, you can pair successfully. It will automatically connect when you use it again later. Bluetooth 4.2 scheme is supported to ensure the highest quality transmission of audio source signal.

The Bluetooth wireless connection distance is about 10 meters without physical barrier. If it is separated by a wall, it can still be used normally within 5 meters.              

In addition to wireless Bluetooth connection, M16 also supports TF card and AUX 3.5mm audio source input modes, and these two modes are preferred for connection. When these two kinds of connections exist, the system will play in these two ways first after power on.

Compared with wireless connection, these two connection methods have better sound quality. The official explanation of TF card is that it can support 32G capacity at most, but the 64G card tested by myself can also be used normally. MP3, WMV, ACC and common APE, FLAC, WAV and other lossless formats can play normally. Later, I tried DSD music, which is really not supported:) It seems that my requirements are a little high. For me, the TF connection mode is seldom used, mainly because it is inconvenient to switch songs and change the volume. AUX connection is commonly used, but the standard wire is only 60cm long, some are short, and the range of activities is a little small. In the future, a longer wire should be replaced.

You should be as concerned about the endurance of the machine as I am, right? The M16 has a built-in 2000mAh lithium battery, and the official nominal playback time is 12 hours. Generally, our actual use will vary according to the actual situation. At medium volume, it takes about 10 hours to play with the AUX and TF card connected.

The time of full charge under empty state varies according to the charger used. I use the charger that comes with my phone. It takes about 3.5 hours to fully charge. During the charging process, the red charging indicator light will be on, and the light will go out, indicating that the charging is completed.

The Zunte M16 uses two 1.75-inch 5W high-quality loudspeaker units, which are matched with an integrated aluminum alloy oblate cavity, so that the sound can be evenly distributed 360 degrees. Let its voice have a wide sound field performance and a full sense of bass. At the same time, due to the use of metal cavity, the treble is also relatively clear, and the sound details can also have a good performance. It is a good choice to use it to connect your mobile phone to listen to music, or to connect your tablet or notebook to watch movies in your spare time. It is fully competent.

In addition to the conventional vertical placement, the M16 can also be placed horizontally. The directivity of the sound in this placement mode is further weakened, and the sound field will be wider. At the same time, the sense of bass volume can be further enhanced by the reflection of the desktop and other planes.

In order to test its sound performance, we even put it in the living room and use it as a sound when playing movies on the projection. It also shows that in a living room of 30 square meters, whether in volume (sound pressure), sound field performance or bass performance, there is enough capacity to serve as temporary sound.

The sound spreads out 360 degrees, and when watching the film on the grand scene, it also behaves with a good sense of propriety; The volume is very high. Although it is only two 5W units, the sound is really loud. You don't need to turn the sound to the limit to get enough loudness; The sense of bass is very strong. The M16 was originally placed in a relatively open place. When it was placed against the wall under the projection frame, a larger cavity was formed around it. With the support of sufficient volume, the bass was doubled.

Of course, it does not mean that it is comparable to special audio equipment, but that it shows our expectations for it in terms of sound effect. At least, it is appropriate to use it to watch TV, movies and listen to concerts everyday.

Use a notebook as a digital turntable, connect a small decoder to play music in DSD format, and then output it to Zunte M16 to test its sound quality performance. This is the best sound source I can use. I don't think there will be any bottleneck in the sound source for the system within 10000 yuan. First of all, I am not a fan of music and audio equipment. I also listen to earphones when listening to the box. I just like it. There are only thousands of the best systems. It's not agaric, of course, nor golden ear, but you can still hear the difference when you change the wire material of different grades. I don't use professional words to express my voice. Usually listening to music is concerned with the quality and quantity of high, medium and low frequencies, the type of sound field and the separation of sound (instruments). Listening to concerts is more demanding when you calm down, and it is not very demanding in daily life.

Various types of DSD music were played, and the following general remarks were made about the listening experience of M16:

The sound adjustment focuses on high and low frequencies, especially low frequencies. Most of the high-frequency details can be expressed. It sounds good when the volume is small or medium, but sometimes it is too sharp when the volume is high; From the cavity structure to other adjustments, most of them are aimed at enhancing the low frequency, so the sense of quantity is relatively high. However, due to the influence of the unit size, the low frequency is of course general in "quality", somewhat loose, and general in diving. The 1.75-inch unit will certainly be insufficient when highlighting high and low frequencies. The mid-range vocal part seems to converge a lot. In terms of sound separation, the sound of the same level is generally ordinary, so there is no requirement. On the whole, in terms of music listening performance, playing some pop concerts is a good performance, very impressive. Or playing some more casual music at low or medium volume will also feel good, after all, its sound effect is good. There are still some deficiencies in the performance of vocal and instrumental music.

Of course, it still has some shortcomings in some details, such as the stiff touch of keys and inconvenient operation; The workmanship of the support angle frame is somewhat "rough", especially the foot rubber sleeve, which is easy to fall off. I hope it will perform better in the future.
