(September 13, 2017, San Francisco) Following the launch of the world's first gigabit mobile phone, ZTE (hereinafter referred to as ZTE) took the opportunity to release two gigabit gateway products: wireless gateway MF288 and mobile hotspot MF990 at MWCA2017 in the United States. Both products support gigabit level data transmission, and with ZTE's own Pre5GGiga+MBB wireless network solution, the maximum download rate per second is close to 1Gbps.
As 5G will be commercialized on a large scale in 2020, the gigabit LTE, as a pioneer of 5G, is an important technical support for the communication industry to move towards 5G. At the same time, these two products also bring consumers rich application scenarios. Through gigabit data transmission and information processing, various devices between users become more intelligent and interactive, and enter the Internet of Things era in advance.
Wireless gateway MF288
Mobile hotspot MF990
The maximum download speed of intelligent algorithm is close to 1 Gbps
Both the wireless gateway MF288 and the mobile hotspot MF990 are equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon X16 modem (MDM9x50), which supports cross FDD and TDD spectrum, bringing LTECategory16 download speed up to 1Gbps and uplink speed up to 150Mbps.
The wireless gateway MF288 provides a gigabit data interface, and also supports voice, WiFi and other functions. The appearance adopts a five antenna design, providing more extreme signal receiving and transmitting coverage. In terms of voice, the MF288 supports VoLTE high-definition calls.
As users are generally used to Wifi wireless access and experience business, the wireless gateway MF288 also supports multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO, multi-user multi input multi output technology). On the basis of gigabit rate transmission, MF288 will automatically execute intelligent algorithms, analyze according to multiple users, multiple terminals, and multiple tasks accessed by the same device, and intelligently allocate processors and traffic to ensure that all online devices have a high-speed network experience.
The mobile hotspot MF990 has excellent portability, compact and compact shape, and its three-dimensional size is only 90 * 90 * 15mm, which can be easily put into a briefcase or travel backpack. With a 2.4 inch touch LCD screen, the MF990 can display power, signal, flow and other information, and also support application management. The equipped 3000Ah battery can support more than 8 hours of work, and can meet users' high-speed network needs no matter on the way or outside.
Gigabit gateway promotes cross-border integration and plays the role of intelligent hub
ZTE's two gigabit products released this time have greatly improved data transmission efficiency and shortened data transmission time, whether it is high-definition video, video calls AR、VR, Or smart home, Internet of Things and other businesses will have broader application prospects. The development trend of the Internet of Things in the future is bound to follow the path of cross-border integration. Interconnection is unstoppable. It will become a reality to realize diversified, personalized, safe and efficient intelligent life through the network.
Gateway products, as the network entrance of intelligent devices, carry the functions of data transmission and information processing in the unit of home and office. After the wings of gigabit speed are inserted, they will really play an important role as intelligent hubs and promote the arrival of intelligent life in an all-round way.
At present, the United States, Australia and other countries are large-scale promoting the commercial gigabit level Pre5G network, and ZTE is also actively working with local operators to promote the commercial use of gigabit level terminals. The wireless gateway MF288 is planned to be available to global Pre5G operators and will be delivered in North America in October; The mobile hotspot MF990 supports the global frequency band and is expected to ship in the fourth quarter of 2017.
