In August 2017, Google released the official version of Android 8.0 (Oreao). Of course, the first to receive the system push was Google's own son Nexus and Pixel series. For Nokia, which returned to the mobile phone market this year, the system update is also a matter of concern. HMD CPO Juho Sarvikas made it clear on Twitter that HMD Nokia phones will support upgrading to Android 8.0 across the board, and even Nokia 3 can be upgraded to 8.0.
Among the currently available Nokia phones, Nokia 3 has the lowest configuration. It only uses the MT6737 (4-core A53) SoC, 2GB memory, and 720P resolution screen. Even this low-end configuration still supports upgrading to Android 8.0. Of course, for Nokia 6, which has been on sale for a long time in China, Android 8.0 will certainly be a step faster and more worth looking forward to.
