Saibo Yuhua released its first full screen mobile phone SOP S9 in Yancheng, Jiangsu on September 19. Saibo Yuhua is a subsidiary of Shenzhen Coomi Intelligent Group. The former's new factory is located in Yancheng High tech Industrial Zone, which is strongly supported by the government. Many provincial and municipal government leaders, MTK, BOE and other upstream manufacturers, as well as its spokesperson Pan Xiaoting, "Nine Ball Queen", were invited to the conference site.
In terms of configuration, SOP S9 provides black, gold, white and blue colors, a 5.7 inch 18:9 ratio 720 * 1440 screen, 500W+800W in the front, 1300W+800W pixel camera in the rear (for background virtualization, not involved in imaging), 2850mAh battery, and YunOS 5.1.1 system. The core part provides two different configurations. The standard version is MT6737T (4 * 1.5G A53)+3G memory+32G storage, and the high configuration version is MT6750 (4 * 1G+4 * 1.5G)+4G memory+64G storage. The price is 1699 yuan and 1999 yuan.
On site hands-on experience
The most obvious feature of SOP S9 is the 18:9 2.5D screen on the front and the bright coating on the back.
Full screen phones generally try to compress the space between the upper and lower parts of the screen, while SOP S9 is well controlled. The top of the phone body is a common distance and rear outer sensor, and the right side of the receiver is a 500W+800W pixel dual camera. It can be seen that the 2.5D glass of the fuselage has a very large curvature, which is difficult to cover with the original film. This 2.5D glass with a large thickness and radian also brings a frame thinning visual effect similar to that of the frameless Nubia Z17.
In terms of chin, SOP S9 does not place touch keys, but uses virtual keys on the screen.
The back of SOP S9 is similar to Samsung S8/S8+. The fingerprint identification button is placed on the right side of the lens. The coating on the back can also reflect different gloss on the black version of the body.
The body interface layout is the traditional "left SIM card slot, right volume and power button, top headphone interface, bottom speaker/mirco USB/main microphone". The workmanship of the metal frame is OK, and there is a black matte coating on the black plate.
18: The 5.7 inch screen of 9 is close to the 5.2 inch mobile phone in horizontal dimension. The screen has a smooth transition to the back, and it feels good to hold.
On the operating system, SOP S9 runs a customized system based on YunOS 5.1.1. The test machine we got is the standard version equipped with MT6737T (4 * 1.5G A53)+3G memory+32G storage (the software can identify the number and frequency of cores, but the model identification is wrong).
It is estimated that many users will feel familiar with the system UI. The system also has advanced settings such as screen out gesture and multi finger operation, which is unexpected.
