Feiao brought us four new products on July 15, and the "CP" combination X7 Mark II and F9 has attracted many players' attention. This time, we will take a look at these two balance driven new products:

Feiao X7 Mark II

Fei Ao X7 Mark II is the flagship player of Fei Ao in active service. Of course, the package is also the most "material". There is a conspicuous X7 Mark II on the front of the package, indicating the identity.

There are enough fillers inside the package. By default, the fuselage is covered with a clean water jacket and a protective film. It is believed that violent express delivery will not hurt the fuselage.

The accessories are also "conscientious" enough, including a screwdriver (for removing the ear amplifier module), coaxial adapter cable, clip, metal side, microUSB data cable, leather protective sleeve and instructions. In addition, the body itself has been covered with a water jacket, which makes the accessories lineup very rich compared with similar products. In addition, users who purchase X7 Mark II will also get a JDB QC 2.0 fast charging adapter (outside the package).

Different people have different opinions on the appearance of the product. Xiao Bian thinks that the appearance of the product ranks first in the national brick industry, but it is still OK. What do you think? The front is still a 3.97 inch 480 * 800 IPS screen, which is already a "big screen" for the player. The ear amplifier module has a Hi Res "small gold label" sticker by default.

There is still a blue breath light band between the front panel and the earphone, and the switch can be selected in the setting.

Compared with the left and right symmetrical design of the X7, the X7 Mark II introduces the design elements from the rollers of the X5 III. There are also irregular lines on the left side frame, which looks more "fresh". The roller has anti slip design+gold ring embellishment, which has a certain sense of damping, and feels good. The playback buttons of the fuselage are also concentrated on the left side of the fuselage, and the settings of the buttons have been canceled on the right side of the fuselage.

The top of the fuselage is a three in one interface of Line Out, coaxial and optical fiber, as well as a power button with red circles, but this button has no backlight.

There are two TF card slots on the right side of the body. This design is common on mobile phones. It requires a pin to take out the card holder, which helps prevent dust and misoperation. The X7 Mark II also has two TF cards. With the built-in 64G Rom, the maximum capacity can be 576G.

The style of the back of the fuselage is also very similar to that of the previous generation, which is also a "three section" design. The fuselage model is FX7221, and the X7 is FX7121. In addition, the 5V=2A charging standard displayed on the back of the fuselage is too modest, and the measured power is far more than 10W. The standard package of the X7 Mark II comes with the AM3A ear amplifier module, which is a single ended+balanced setting. Compared with the X7 single ended AM1 module, it is much better in both quality and listening sense.

The bottom interface of AM3A is the same layout as AM3, with 3.5mm single end interface, microUSB interface and 2.5mm balanced interface. Can Type-C interface be realized by changing chin?

In order to make the irregular lines on the left more harmonious and compatible with the X7 universal ear amplifier module, Feiao specially added a small piece of metal on the left side of the fuselage. Screwing on the screws will make the lines of the X7 Mark II more harmonious.

Like the X7, the ear amplifier module can be removed by unscrewing the left and right screws. The AM1, AM2, AM3, AM5 and other ear amplifier modules on the X7 can also be used on the X7 Mark II, which greatly enhances the playability of the product sound.

At the same time, in order to be compatible with the K5 base of Feiao, the X7 Mark II also comes with a metal block with triangular sides. After installing it, the X7 Mark II can be perfectly inserted into the K5. However, Xiao Bian thinks that this small metal block is more beautiful than the default line. Even without K5, it is quite good to replace it.

The X7 Mark II is recommended to use a balance port with AM3A, which can give play to its strongest strength. At the same time, its strong thrust also makes it more adaptable to earphones. The upgraded ES9028PRO and Hyper Stream II make it sound better.

The charging power of the X7 Mark II can reach about 14W at most. The attached JDB adapter is used, and the 12V high-voltage QC2.0 scheme is adopted. At the same time, the body is also compatible with MediaTek's PEP fast charging.

Comparison of two generations of models

X7 Mark II and X7 have many similarities in appearance design except for the left side frame. The English logo of FiiO has also been removed from the front panel of X7 Mark II. In addition, we can see that the colors of the two are slightly different (although they are all labeled "titanium"). The color of X7 Mark II is more light gray. Another detail is that the X7 Mark II has been pasted with glass film before delivery, while the X7 is a general HD film.

The design on the left side is very different. X7 uses a symmetrical key layout on the left and right. You can choose the function of keys in the settings.

The structure on the right side of the fuselage is also very different.

The lower two sections of the "three sections" on the back of the X7 body are protruding, while the X7 Mark II is a whole plane, so the thickness of the latter is also thinner. At the same time, the battery density has increased significantly from 3500mAh to 3800mAh.

Compared with the two generations of X7, the X7 Mark II has significantly improved in terms of appearance, volume and weight control as well as design rationality, and this is based on the obvious improvement of hardware. In general, this upgrade is very sincere, and of course, the price is higher.

X7 Mark II+AM3 and X7+AM3A have no problems in use, but the two combinations have a certain color difference, and obsessive-compulsive disorder may be unacceptable.

The X5 III and X7 Mark II are very similar in the design of the left side frame of the fuselage, but the size of the former is much smaller, and the ear amplifier module cannot be replaced.

The back of the fuselage is quite different. The X5 III is a glass back cover, while the X7 Mark II is an all metal integrated fuselage.

Both are the same in the design of the playback button and the scroll wheel.

Feiao F9

At the same time, the ring iron earphone F9 released on the same day as the X7 Mark II was also added. The package also uses a similar design.

Open the package, there is a Feiao waterproof storage box, a 2.5mm balance line and 3.5mm single ended line (with mic), relevant instructions, etc.

The wire base of 2.5mm balance wire is oxygen free copper silver plated, and the wire is very soft, which is a 4-core wire. Both wires adopt MMCX interface, and the interface is gold-plated.

There are six pairs of silicone sleeves of different sizes and two types inside the storage box. The red core is the bass enhanced silicone sleeve. In addition, the body of the earphone is also prevented from being in the storage box. What we get is black.

The earphone shell is made of all metal design and CNC machining. The surface has ripple lines and sandblasting technology, which makes it feel good.

As it is a coil iron earphone, there are two sound outlets on the inner side of the earphone cavity, which is for the dynamic unit service.

The F9 after "full armed" adopts ear winding design, which is small and comfortable to wear.

F9 uses a 9.2 mm moving coil (PEK polymer nanocomposite diaphragm) unit and a group of 1+2 structures of composite moving iron units, a total of three units.

Similarly, the FAO F9, which is billed as balance driven, can exert its strongest strength under the condition of balance line.
