Create momentum intentionally? There are too many scandals about Tesla's establishment in China

Because imported cars need to pay high taxes, even a car brand with conscience pricing like Tesla will inevitably be blocked in the Chinese market, and the best solution is of course to open a Tesla factory in China, forming a situation of "domestic Tesla".

Since the second half of 2016, there has been news that Tesla will build a factory in China. Nearly a year has passed, and it seems that Tesla's factory building has always been based on rumors, without any substantive breakthrough. Although there is no official news, there have been various scandals. It is rumoured that Shanghai Lingang, Tianjin Auto Mould, Guosheng Group, Shanghai Electric and many other companies are discussing with Tesla about the establishment of factories in China. For this reason, Shanghai Lingang's A shares showed a strong trend from June 16, rising from 20 yuan on June 16 to nearly 26 yuan on June 22, an increase of more than 25%. Yesterday evening, Shanghai Lingang issued a public statement saying that it never had any intention to cooperate with Tesla to build a factory in China. Then, on June 23 (today), Shanghai Lingang opened at a low price, with the current price of 23.6 yuan, down nearly 9% from 22. In addition, another gossip companion of Tesla, Tianjin Auto Mould, also issued a statement, saying that the company has not participated in the cooperation related to Tesla's establishment of an automobile engine factory in China for the time being.

Some insiders pointed out that Tesla is really interested in opening factories in China, and it is also in the process of contacting and negotiating with many domestic companies. Tesla intends to expose the wind of negotiations with many companies in order to become a strong party in the negotiations, so as to gain more bargaining chips and reduce its factory building costs.
