Through reading the instructions, we know that the IronBot Chap must use the APP to find the building tutorial and programming control functions. After the updated introduction, the APP homepage is guided. The homepage is occupied by a large cartoon IronBot Mate robot. Through the introduction, we know the five main entrances of the interface, namely, machine model, remote control, programming, operation and exploration.

The machine model page displays the downloaded model drawing book in a sliding card format, and the download button and new button are located on the upper left corner. The function of the new button is unknown, but the download button is very useful.

0x04 Complete machine assembly

After understanding the basic operation of APP, start to build a robot

Go to the download page through the download button of the machine model and find that there are still many types of IronBot Chap that can be built. IronBot Chap corresponds to the little guy, so we downloaded the little guy's construction drawings and started to build the little guy according to the drawings~

The whole machine only uses three motors, two speed motors and one angle motor. The speed motor has a red label, while the angle motor has a blue label.

The assembly of the whole machine starts from the chassis, and the chassis starts from the assembly of the steering gear. First, the chassis power steering gear is assembled, and the speed motor is used. After the assembly is completed, it is installed on the body parts, and the track sprocket and track are installed. Then, the control box and battery module are installed. The chassis is finished.

Next, install the upper part of the car body. The upper part uses a U-shaped piece to fix the steering gear assembled by an angle motor as the main body, and install the magnetic suction module, which is used to install the mobile phone and complete the functions of nodding and other actions.

No matter in programming mode or remote control mode, you need to link Bluetooth first, and then you can operate the robot after connecting via Bluetooth~

After connecting the robot and opening the remote control mode, you will find that there are more buttons on the remote control interface. I don't know whether it is because you downloaded the robot drawings or because you didn't link the controller before. A lot of buttons are provided. The default operation interface is very suitable for manipulating the movement of IronBot Chap, so Xiaojiu has not changed the configuration, and directly uses the default operation interface buttons to operate. In the actual experience, there will be some delay due to Bluetooth, but the action instructions can still be executed well.

Using the remote control mode to control the robot to climb over the notepad, it can quickly climb over. The crawler is equipped with rubber, and the friction force is large. The advantages of the crawler make the car body have a certain ability to climb over obstacles. I wrote a program at random. Xlink's graphical programming is very suitable for children. One module can be linked with multiple modules to achieve multiple action responses.
