On May 18, Panasonic released its new rugged variant Toughbook 33 in the United States, which uses a split design similar to the surface, but surprisingly, this product has passed MIL-STD-810G military regulations certification.
Toughbook 33 adopts a 12 inch full protective display screen with a ratio of 3:2, with a resolution of 2160 × 1440, supports multi touch control, and the maximum brightness can reach 1200 nits.
In terms of configuration, Toughbook 33 uses Intel Core processor i5/i7 processor, and can choose the sixth generation Skylake or the seventh generation Kabylake. Users can choose according to their own needs. The seventh generation Kabylake no longer supports Win7, so users who want to continue using Win7 can only choose the version of Skylake. The 7-generation processor models are Core i5-7300U and Core i7-7600U, and the 6-generation processor models are Core i5-6300U and Core i7-6600U. The standard memory configuration is 8GB, and optional 16GB. The hard disk provides 256GB SSD with heater, and optional 512GB SSD.
In terms of batteries, the machine is equipped with two heat replaceable batteries as standard. The official announced that the endurance test result of MobileMark 2014 reached 10 hours. In addition, the keyboard base also has a built-in battery. If the base is connected, the battery life can be increased to 20 hours.
In terms of connectivity, the machine supports 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi Fi, Bluetooth, dual pass antenna, and optional GPS/4G LTE-A support.
