After Xiaomi opened its first Xiaomi Home in Singapore last October, the overseas offline market expanded rapidly. Recently, Millet House in Bangalore, India will also open on May 20.
This is the 92nd Xiaomi Home in the world after the mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. As in China, Indian rice noodles can buy a series of millet products in stores, such as mobile phones, mobile power supplies, headphones, bracelets, air purifiers, and ecological chain products released in India.
Manu Jain, director of Xiaomi India, said that in the next two years, Xiaomi plans to open 100 Xiaomi homes in India, covering New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and other major Indian cities.
India is the most important overseas market of Xiaomi. According to the latest data from Canalys, a market research organization, Xiaomi became the second runner up in smartphone sales and the champion in online sales in the first quarter of this year, second only to Samsung.
Indian consumers love Xiaomi more than Samsung, Apple and local smartphone manufacturer Micromax. It is the most popular mobile phone brand in the region.
