Part One | Unpacking&Details: minor changes in R9, adding micro innovation

Compared with the plain white and simple packaging of the previous generation R9, the front of the R9s package is decorated with the classic green OPPO logo. The enlarged font at the lower left corner also directly indicates what mobile phone is in the box.

The SIM card slot is still a commonly used and/or card holder design. It supports all Netcom. The mobile cards of the three major operators can be used together at will. If users feel that 64GB is not enough, it also supports the expansion of large capacity SD cards.

The left side of the fuselage is a separate volume key, and the right side is a SIM card slot and power key. The three key stroke is short, and the tactile feedback is good without looseness.

There is only one secondary MIC on the upper part of the fuselage, and the other openings are concentrated on the lower part: speaker, Micro USB interface, main MIC, 3.5mm headphone hole. Since the current VOOC flash charge technology still needs to be used with data lines processed with special pins, it is not surprising that USB Type-C interface is not used. Compared with the friend business model that pursues ultra-high cost performance, OPPO, which is user experience oriented, never blindly pursues the so-called ultra-high performance, but it also often gives people the feeling of "high price but low configuration". This time, OPPO seems to have seen the needs of users and replaced the latest flagship R9s with the latest Snapdragon Core - Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor.

Based on the score run chart above, it can be seen that the Snapdragon 625 scores higher than Helio P10 in all indicators, and Qualcomm is indeed better than MediaTek in performance, but the Snapdragon 625 is still a mid tier processor after all, which is still far from the same big brother 820/821. Its highlight is the advanced 14nm process technology, which brings lower power consumption and ensures the stability of daily use.

From the practical experience, when playing Glory of the King, the overall performance was smooth, and the key moments of group warfare were not off the chain, and the fluency was maintained at a high level; NBA2K17, which Kade can't play on the MTK platform at all, R9s can run perfectly.
