AMD said at the ongoing GDC2017 conference that their latest driver has enabled AMD graphics cards to support the asynchronous multi projection technology of Steam VR. Asynchronous multi projection is a technology introduced by Valve for Steam VR platform to reduce VR vertigo and increase the number of game frames by pre judging frame insertion. It has a similar effect to Oculus's asynchronous time warp. Nvidia's graphics card has added support to the driver since the technology was launched last November, while AMD has only started to support it now.
