In the 17 years of gradual precipitation of intelligent wearable products and gradual convergence of experience, the hardware of K4 is no longer the bottleneck.

The problem is that the experience of K4 is still stuck in software rather than hardware - software still has a lot of room for optimization and improvement.  

However, perhaps simplified functions and experiences are more suitable for most people in this fast-paced contemporary era?  

1、 It's easy to unpack this time

This is a simple unpacking.

The packaging of K4 is quite simple. The environment-friendly kraft paper matches with the common roof. The front is just a simple text of the Smart Band, and even the logo design is omitted. Simple enough, but not pleasing.

Only necessary watchbands, charging wires and instructions are available for accessories. Considering that many people may not keep the packaging box, simplified accessories not only save costs and lower prices, but also are more environmentally friendly. After all, environmental protection is very important these days, right~  

2、 Process and design

The design of K4 is not so eye-catching. The relatively wide bracelet makes the bracelet look bloated, but the black and mirror surface can add a lot of points, giving a delicate visual experience.

At the same time, the touch ring embellishment of the bracelet also makes the bracelet look less monotonous.

The details of the bracelet body are also relatively good. The black mirror cover covers the frame of the OLED screen. This more integrated visual effect is very attractive.

At the same time, the marks of parting line and injection molding are acceptable, and the overall details are acceptable.  

The details of the watchband are rough, and the parting line marks are serious.

However, the texture of TPU is very comfortable, and it is not easy to cause allergies. The sanding treatment effect is not easy to attract dust and dust. Although it may not be satisfactory visually, it is not exquisite enough, but the comfort level of wearing is still satisfactory to Xiaotian.  

Generally speaking, the craftsmanship and detail treatment are acceptable, and the colorful watchband design is also very flattering. For example, Xiaotian likes the white design (why does he always give me black?).

3、 Experience

TPU material and matte treatment (skin like treatment may be done), there is no discomfort when wearing it, and the weight of less than 20g will not cause much burden on the wrist.

However, the hole position of the watch strap is not handled at all. It is simply punched, which makes it very easy for the buckle to run away and not easy to align with the empty position during the wearing process. Although many people don't often take off the bracelet, Xiaotian thinks that this kind of detail optimization and processing can also be a bonus, right~  

At the same time, it is difficult to see the words on the screen in the sun due to the brightness. Considering the life and power of OLED, we can automatically increase the brightness of OLED in the daytime according to the time of sunrise and sunset~

On the signal side, due to the PRO6 PLUS used by Xiaotian, the problem of Bluetooth disconnection often occurs~but other Xiaotian mobile phones are not so frequent. Considering that the PRO6 PLUS is a relatively new mobile phone, this problem may not be the problem of K4! However, we still hope that the official follow-up can be optimized.

As for the use time, Tian was fully charged from about 1:00 on March 9 to about 1:00 on March 15. The usage time of about 6 days is also relatively enough. Considering that Xiaotian has turned on automatic heart rate detection every hour, if you increase the time interval or turn off the function, it is only used to record steps, sleep, etc., I believe that more than seven days is enough.

However, the reminder function is not perfect. Although the new firmware supports horizontal and vertical screen switching, the text message reminder can only be displayed in horizontal screen. At the same time, the display time is only 3 or 4 seconds, minus the sender's information, it is not enough to read a text message! It may be better to determine the display time according to the content of the message!  

IV APP

The K4 app uses a minimalist design, and the overall look and feel is very good. It conforms to the current GUI design style and is very flattering.

First of all, the APP home page displays the accumulated steps, kilometers, sleep time, the last heart rate detection, and weight records of the day. It is very convenient to get the content you want quickly just by looking at the home page.

At the same time, users can manually set the corresponding goals every day, such as 8000 steps every day, so that users can know whether they are up to the standard... Tian Tian's sleeping time is often not up to the standard, (╥╥╥╥)  

However, there is a small bug on the home page, that is, the sleep time is always zero on the home page, but the detailed page data is normal. The official said that the problem has been fixed and will be updated next time.

Of course, you can also view the detailed data of a day by time period by clicking the corresponding content. Unfortunately, the sleep time does not support viewing the specific time at present.  

However, Tian found that he lost data sometimes. For example, Tian still wears it normally these days, but his sleep data is less (Tian slept all day, yes), and his heart rate is also missing.

And after the Bluetooth is disconnected, does the APP and the bracelet remind you... This little Tian thinks that the bracelet should give you a hint, for example, when he puts his mobile phone on the table, he uses the bracelet to remind him of SMS and phone calls, but when the Bluetooth is disconnected

The above is the main function of APP. Of course, the necessary skills such as setting the alarm clock and Do Not Disturb mode on the bracelet are also necessary for K4. However, relatively speaking, there are few other functions supported.

K4 still does not support WeChat binding and QQ campaign. Although APP has its own ranking, it does not have the more detailed "load force" function of WeChat and QQ, and its utilization rate is not very high at present. Xiaotian believes that it is very necessary to add WeChat and QQ in the future, in addition to convenient synchronization steps, it is also easier to increase user stickiness~

At the same time, K4 does not support various sports modes at present, such as running, cycling, etc., which limits the scene of K4 playing.

It is believed that in the future, officials will gradually add these models to improve the experience and functions of K4.  

5、 Summary

Xiaotian thinks that the K4 is a good bracelet, which is comfortable to wear and has a relatively acceptable endurance. However, only the standard data record does not support other functions, and it is still greatly reduced.

I believe that the K4 experience will be better after more functions are added in the future.
