1、 Unpacking and accessories

Anker, as a brand with high sales in foreign countries, the super charger launched this time looks very friendly.

The package is a common paper box, with blue and white color matching, and the words look simple, with only the brand logo on the front.

There is a product information sticker on the back of the packaging box. The author has a look at it, and the more important parameters on this sticker are roughly as follows:

Charger output: 5V=2.1A (single port maximum 2.1A)

Mobile power output: 5V=3A (single port maximum 3A)

In short, according to the officially publicized parameters, Anker Super Charger is roughly equal to the function of two ordinary chargers plus a 5000mAh mobile power supply. And Anker super charger can support about 10w output power.

3、 Charging test

Having said so much, in fact, it will finally come to the use experience. Anker Supercharge itself focuses on portability. There is no doubt that it has done a very good job in portability. What about its main project, charging?

First, let's talk about the two modes of super charging. One is the power bank mode, and the other is the charging head mode. The mode of the charging head is the same as that of the ordinary charger.

When using Anker Super Charger as a power bank, as long as it is plugged into the socket and not connected to other appliances, the Super Charger can start to charge the internal lithium battery by itself.

In this mode, the LED indicator of the super charge will flash according to the remaining power.

When using Anker Super Charger as a charger to connect other devices for charging:

The indicator lights flash one by one.

When Anker is super charged and unloaded, the voltage is about 5v.

The author tested the charging efficiency of Anker Supercharge under the power bank mode and the charging head mode respectively:

Scenario 1: Charging head mode

Device 1: iPhone SE (fast charging is not supported)

When I charged the iPhone SE, the output was a bit poor, but after a while, it rose to about 5v-0.5a, which can barely be used as an original charger.

Equipment 2: Meizu Pro6s (MTK PE2.0 fast charging)

The output power is about 7.2w, which is a normal speed.

Equipment 3: Xiaomi 5 (Qualcomm QC3.0 fast charging)

When charging Mi 5, the super charger can output 5v-1.8a, which is close to 10w power. This performance is quite good. Although it is not as fast as the original charging, the gap is not too big.

Scenario 2: Power bank (mobile power) mode

Device 1: iPhone SE (fast charging is not supported)

The output is about 5v-0.5a in the charging head mode.

Equipment 2: Meizu Pro6s (MTK PE2.0 fast charging)

It is also similar to the charging head mode, about 5v-1.3a.

The conclusion is the same. The 5v-1.8a, which is similar to the charging head mode, is close to 10w output.

In fact, this result is still very good, which is better than Xiaomi's own power bank.  

Scenario 3: Dual U-port simultaneous power supply mode

In view of the fact that it seems small to plug in or not plug in the power supply, the author will not be separated when testing the dual U ports.

When Xiaomi 5 and iPhone SE are charged at the same time, the single port output current of Anker Super Charger can still reach about 1.8a, which is excellent.

However, in the above tests, the failure to achieve the maximum output power of 5v-3a has really puzzled the author. Is it my device wrong? Want to get an iPAD? Or the legendary VOOC flash phone?

(Cough cough) Let's get down to business. In fact, I am very satisfied with the performance of Anker Super Charger in the charging link. Compared with the universal chargers and mobile power supplies on the market, its output is still very strong.  

4、 Product summary

Anker Super Charger is a device that combines a power bank and a mobile power supply. It is mainly convenient and fast, and it is really convenient and fast. In fact, I personally like Anker's super charging product. If I was asked to find a word to describe it, it should be "more is better". It can be used at home, in the office, and on trips. After all, more skills do not weigh on the body! However, we have to admit that Anker, who is used to the foreign market, is still a bit embarrassed in terms of pricing.
