LG official explained that the first LG UltraFine 5K displays did have a hardware defect in electromagnetic wave shielding. Both LG and Apple officially promise to provide after-sales warranty for the products with this problem.

LG officials said that the LG UltraFine 5K monitor produced in February no longer had this problem, and added electromagnetic shielding hardware.
