First time on Love to play computer games ·Although the product in trial is just a data line, it is more difficult than writing a mobile phone experience After all, the attitude towards data lines has always been very casual, and they will not always use the original cable for charging. During the use of iPhone, they even used some lines that have not been certified by MFI.
After about a week's trial, I would like to share the experience of ORICO's Type-c 5A fast charging line. (Sensation Xuejing should be a beauty~)
1、 Workmanship
This is a white data line, surrounded by plastic material. Most of the data lines are made of glue. Of course, the advantage is that they are slip resistant, but the glue material is really easy to get dirty. Basically, you can feel the white is not very pure after one day's use. Now some data cables try to be surrounded by nylon material, which greatly improves the dirt resistance.
TPE fixed line interface is adopted for the cable head. The thread head is the most bent part whether it is inserted on the adapter or put in the bag, so the reinforcement method has played a lot of protection roles.
In the interface part, both ends of the interface are nickel plated with anti-oxidation alloy, which is also a common data line interface material.
The rubber core in the interface is green, which is rare. However, it may be difficult to deal with the green color in the process, so compared with the product rendering diagram, the green color of this line still has a lot of room for improvement.
2、 Practical
Regardless of the appearance, after all, the data cable is a tool product for private use, so long as the function is easy to use.
The Type-c line of ORICO is marked with the slogan of "5A fast charging", and the clear "5A" logo can also be seen at the head of the line. Unfortunately, there is no adapter that can output 5A current. The Meizu PRO 6 Plus output standard in my hand is 3A or 2A.
Here we return to the appearance part again: comparing this ORICO cable with the original data cable of Meizu PRO 6 Plus, we will find that the latter is even thicker. On the official website of ORICO, it is mentioned that there are two groups of cores in this wire to achieve higher charging current. But why is the ORICO of two groups of cores thinner than Meizu of one group of cores? The only way I can think of is to cut the cross section of the data line to verify (I really can't do it
Continue to return to the charging part: since there are two sets of cores, the current passed by ORICO wire should be higher even in the non fast charging state. This is verified as follows.
In the same non fast charging mode, when the original charging line is used, the current passed by the PRO 6 Plus is 1584 mA; When ORICO 5A fast charging line is used, the current passing through is 1591mA. It can be seen that under the non fast charging mode, the 5A line has no advantage.
(* Note: Meizu PRO 6 Plus fast charging mode is generally automatically turned on when the power is lower than 30%, and there will be obvious heating when charging)
When the power of the mobile phone is only about 20%, it will be recharged again. At this time, it has entered the fast charging mode. The charging current of the original charging line and ORICO line is compared as follows.
It can be seen from this comparison that the advantages of 5A line are reflected in the fast charging mode. However, after all, the maximum current is limited by the adapter and the instantaneous power consumption of the mobile phone. The adapter cannot output a complete 5A current. However, this comparison can at least partially verify that ORICO 5A fast charging line is worthy of its name when the output current of the adapter is ≤ 5A.
(* The above comparison is only one experimental result, not representative)
3、 Summary
Seriously, when I opened the express, I thought I had received a second-hand line The box is also opened, and the data cable is also wrapped in a small plastic bag at will. But after searching the price online, I feel more balanced
This ORICO Type-c 5A cable has a regular appearance, is not outstanding, but also has no obvious shortcomings. The green glue core shows the intention of the ID~but the 50cm length is only suitable for use in a bag with a power bank, thanks to other length options.
If you want to give a score for the cost performance of this line, you can get full marks: the price is favorable and the function is complete. However, the author has not yet verified whether the Android phone charging cable (including m-USB and Type-c) needs to be verified by similar MFI. If there is similar verification, if ORICO can pass, it will be a worthwhile product.
At the end, thank you for this trial opportunity given by the program group of iComputer~
