LG G6 real machine exposure: limit screen proportion+sub camera enhancement
LG G6 real machine exposure: limit screen proportion+sub camera enhancement

LG's confidentiality work is still as bad as ever. Following the real machine renderings months ago, the intensive exposure in the last few weeks, and then on February 1, the foreign media finally released the real LG G6 engineering machine photos. In addition to confirming the front shape/screen ratio, G6 is likely to have a significant secondary camera improvement.

  1. The G6 in spy photos is equipped with a back cover for testing. Some interfaces on the motherboard are also connected to external wires (power supply and antenna?) and fixed with glass glue. Because the back cover is used for testing, the seam is too large, but the camera is finally no longer protruding.

  2. The structure of G6 real machine is close to that of Xiaomi 4/MX4 in 2014 and hammer M1/M1L in 2016, both of which are designed with a metal frame and a back cover. It is not yet determined whether this back cover can be easily disassembled to replace the battery.

  3. However, it can be confirmed that the G6 does use a screen with a longer scale, which makes the body appear more slender, and the dual camera module and body design become more rigid and square. The front frame is very narrow, and the forehead and chin of the fuselage are much narrower than the existing LG models.

  4. One small detail worth noting here is that G6 may have improved the sub lens. The common feature of LG's three continued dual camera rear models is that the left side is an ultra wide angle secondary camera, but previously they were all small CMOS with 8 million pixels. The imaging quality itself cannot be compared with the main camera, and therefore the lens size will be much smaller than the main camera. But this time, the secondary camera lens on the left side of G6 (a very obvious "fish eye" wide-angle lens) is close to the size of the right side.
