ZTE recently released its crowdfunding mobile phone "Eagle Eye" at CES, which costs 199 US dollars (about 1380 yuan). The biggest highlight of this mobile phone is the eye tracking technology added to the lens, so that the screen can be controlled with both eyes.
Unfortunately, the crowdfunding response of this mobile phone called "Eagle Eye" on Kickstarter was not enthusiastic. After 44 days, it received orders of more than 500000 dollars. In 26 days, only 182 people supported it.
According to the feedback from users on Kickstarter, everyone hoped that "Hawkeye could have a better specification and configuration". ZTE then asked on its website: "Do you want to replace Qualcomm 625 with Qualcomm 825?" "Do you want to replace the 3000 mAh battery with 3500 mAh battery?" These questions were affirmed by most voters.
Then ZTE immediately made a review, and they stated: "I hope this mobile phone is affordable to most people in the world.". And admitted that the specifications of their "eagle eye" are not enough to attract the interest of the real user group. Now we are considering whether to turn off crowdfunding on Kickstarter, but mobile phones can also have a variety of specifications, so we may provide a variety of specifications to see whether it can arouse consumers' interest.
