360 recently released the first mobile phone of Q series in its F, N and Q series - 360 mobile phone Q5 and Q5 Plus. The Q5 version is divided into ordinary version and anti-bacterial version, and the Q5 Plus is divided into ordinary version and administrative version, so there are four mobile phones in total.

In terms of configuration, 360 mobile phone Q5 is equipped with 5.5 inch 1080p AMOLED screen, eight core CPU Snapdragon 652, 4GRAM 128GROM combination, 3200 mA battery, dual 13 million pixel rear camera, front 13 million pixel camera soft light, and type-c interface. In Q5 antibacterial version, only the outer glass uses antibacterial glass, and other configurations are the same. The 360 mobile phone Q5 Plus is configured with a 6-inch 1080p AMOLED screen, which uses a quad core CPU Snapdragon 820, also a combination of 4GRAM 128GROM, 3700mA batteries, dual 13 megapixel rear cameras, front 13 megapixel camera soft light, type-c interface, Q5 plus administrative version, and the RAM is increased to 6G on the side.
Although the rear dual 13 million pixels are the same, their main camera is different. The main camera of Q5 uses Sony's CMOS with a pixel size of 1.12 μ m, and the specific model is unknown. The aperture is f/1.8, while the Q5 Plus uses Samsung's CMOS with a pixel size of 1.34 μ m, and the model is still unknown. The aperture is f/2.0.
This one in my hand is 360 Q5plus.

Unpacking

The packaging style and color match of the Q5 series of 360 mobile phones are still bright red. In the middle, the phone model Q5 Plus is printed with hot stamping process. There are very fine wavy lines on the package, which makes it feel good when held in hand.

On the back is the traditional mobile phone configuration introduction and related information.  

Due to the packaging style of imitation books, all unpacking is like opening a book, which seems to return to the student era~

After opening, the phone is placed on the first floor, and the phone can be easily taken out through the red brace beside it.

Turn it over again, there is the second layer, where the accessories are stored. The accessories are packed in three separate boxes, which looks very exquisite.

Take a look at the accessories family photo, thimble, manual, warranty card, charger and charging cable. In addition, a Micro USB to type-c interface and a mobile phone case are included.
Let's talk about the thimble first. This thimble is not designed at all. It feels too cheap. It's not as good as the N4 thimble. I don't know whether it's the same thimble in the official version.
The included mobile phone case is a hard case. The advantages of this kind of case are that it is thin and light and fits the mobile phone well. The disadvantages are that it does not fall, it is easy to break, and it is difficult to install and take.

The output power of the charger is 5V-3A 9V-2.2A 12V-1.6A. From the parameters, the charging speed should be fast. We'll see the measured data later.

It is worth mentioning that the USB end of the charging line adopts a flat design. In order to prevent you from plugging it backwards, the back door of the charger is blocked by a sticker. You need to learn before using it

The front of the 360 mobile phone Q5 Plus is designed with an ultra narrow frame. The screen occupies an astonishing proportion, with a short chin and narrow forehead. From the parameters, the width is only 4.3 mm wider than the 5.5 inch wide 360 mobile phone N4 with a width of 75.7 mm, which is particularly shocking to the visual sense.

The openings on the top are soft light (hidden design), earpiece, sensor and camera in turn.

The design style of the three virtual buttons at the bottom is similar to that of the 360 mobile N4S, but I don't know why they are not equipped with backlight.

Then look at the back. The back adopts the all metal integrated body, the design style of the nano injection antenna, and the back fingerprint identification. The process is similar to the 360 mobile phone N4S.

Take a closer look at the two rear cameras. The top one is a color camera, and the bottom one is a black and white camera. The two cameras can work at the same time or shoot separately. The Q5 Plus dual color temperature flash is placed on the right side of the color camera, while the Q5 is placed below the black and white camera.

It is worth mentioning that the back cover adopts an arc design. Compared with the square mobile phone, the arc design makes it more comfortable to hold. Of course, there is also a disadvantage. The disadvantage is that when you operate horizontally on the desktop, clicking the edge will cause the phone to shake.

In addition to the three in two SIM card slot on the left side, 360 has designed a smart key for Q5. This smart key can be used as a photo key, flashlight key, recording key and one button call key through system settings.

The top is a noise reducing microphone and earphone. The 360 mobile phone Q5 system has cancelled the infrared remote control added by the N4S!

Compare the appearance of 360 mobile phone Q5 Plus with that of Vivo's xplay5. They also use the design of metal integrated body and nano injection antenna, but the antenna position of xplay5 is too far in the middle. The screen size of xplay5 is only 5.43 inches, but its three dimensions are 153.5X76.2X7.59 mm. From the picture, it is almost as big as the 6-inch Q5Plus.

In terms of back design, the Xplay5 uses a 1600W single camera, mimicking Apple's design and placing the camera on the top left side. Fingerprint unlocking uses a square key, which is visually less beautiful than the round key of Q5.

The back edge also adopts CNC high gloss cutting plate, but the cutting edge of Xplay5 is slightly smaller than that of Q5 Plus.

Since the thickness of the Xplay5 is 7.59mm, its camera is not flattened. The Q5 Plus uses an arc design for its rear cover, which is 8.3mm at the highest point, but the edge is definitely thinner than the edge of the Xplay5.

Looking at the front, the Q5 Plus has an extremely high screen proportion. From the picture, we can see that the forehead and chin of the Xplay5 are a large part wider than the Q5 Plus.
In terms of other configurations, the advanced version of the Xplay5 is similar to the Q5Plus. The Snapdragon 820, 4G 128G, and the highlight of the Xplay5 is the curved screen and HiFi provided by Samsung. Of course, there is another highlight - the price is 4288 yuan!

security

Security is the main function of 360 OS. The 360 Q5 series mobile phones have raised security to a higher level. The Q5 series mobile phones have a built-in security chip. The password, fingerprint and other security related information in the mobile phone are saved in the security chip, so even if the system is hacked, the password information cannot be stolen. In addition to hardware encryption, 360 OS 2.0 also has powerful software updates such as encrypted phone/SMS and travel guard.

Encrypted phone/SMS

I think the encrypted phone/SMS is the encrypted version of 360 Internet phone, and the phone and information go through the encrypted network channel rather than the operator channel. Therefore, its limitation is that both parties must use 360 OS 2.0 mobile phones at the same time, and enable the encrypted phone and SMS functions.

This encryption is really tough. You can't take screenshots or record screens. When evaluating the 1.0 system, the property isolation system can't take screenshots. Later, my solution was to open the screen recording system on the desktop, then enter the property isolation system. Finally, I took screenshots in the screen recording file, and completed the evaluation. This time, I wanted to copy the last experience, but the screen recording file was blank, and nothing could be seen!

Use an encrypted phone to make a test call. During an encrypted phone call, screen capture, recording, headset, Bluetooth, and even handsfree are not allowed to be turned on. This is to prevent the content of your call from leaking to the maximum extent... Of course, the network phone is limited by the network conditions, and sometimes it can't be called.

Test the encrypted SMS. When the encrypted SMS is not unlocked, the content of the SMS is replaced by 300 Tang poems

The actual content of the SMS can only be seen after authentication and unlocking. The authentication method Q5 mobile phone can not use fingerprint authentication, while the 360 mobile phone N4 can use fingerprint authentication. I don't know why.

The information will be burned after reading. You only have 5 seconds to read it. When the time comes, the information will be destroyed automatically. The only way to crack it is to use another mobile phone to capture it~

Travel Guard

Travel Guard is also a new app added to 360 OS 2.0. Recently, online car hailing has been legalized, but the problem of riding safety has not been substantially solved. I still remember that in the past few years, there were many incidents of female passengers intercepted by black cars reported in the news. For this reason, 360 finally took the initiative to develop Travel Guard. Of course, I think this application is still under development, and its functions are not perfect.

First of all, you and your family and friends must install travel guards and log in before you can add each other as emergency contacts. I encountered problems when logging in, that is, how to release the verification code. So far, Q5 works, but the travel guard of 360 mobile N4 still doesn't work. I installed the travel guard on another Android machine, but I can log in.

After login, when you take the bus, you can share your location with friends, or even take photos and share photos with emergency contacts.

In case of danger, press the "Ask for help now" button, and the software will record a 30 second recording and send it to the emergency contact. Here is a problem. The recording time is fixed at 30 seconds, and the friend will receive the message only after the 30 second recording is completed. I think it is not reliable. First, click "Ask for help", and the emergency contact should receive the message prompt immediately, The 30 second time should also include the function of sending immediately.

Privacy system

In addition to the different interface, the privacy system has changed a set of UI, and others have not changed much compared with 1.0. In the new version, the encrypted phone/SMS function is added to the privacy space. The function of false privacy space is still there. Through the true and false privacy space, it is equivalent to having two privacy spaces, but the false functions are relatively few. What's the specific use of privacy space? Let's take the recent popular domestic artist, his wife's cheating broker, which was reported a few days ago!
There are two kinds of rumors. One is that an artist found the information in his wife's mobile phone and the broker. The other is that an artist and his wife have separated for half a year, and his sister found the cheating information in his wife's mobile phone. Whatever the truth is, the information in the mobile phone is not well protected. If she uses a mobile phone with privacy, And all the ambiguous information is purely in the privacy space, so will she go to this step today?

Property segregation

The property isolation system is to isolate the user's bank, payment, wealth management and other apps for use after 360's official certification. Even if the system has trojans, the use of financial apps in the property isolation system will not be stolen, and 360 will compensate you even if they are stolen.

Security and anti-theft

360 OS 2.0 has made an extreme setting in terms of security and anti-theft - self destruction. Of course, this self destruction is not the kind of self destruction used by Tom Cruise. At present, only Samsung note7 has mastered the core technology of self destruction. 360's self destruction is just the automatic destruction of data. When you enable this function, if the phone is pulled out of the SIM card or encounters a ROOT, the system will start self destruction integrity, There is 60 minutes for entering the correct lock screen password. If the password cannot be entered correctly, all data in the phone will be destroyed automatically after 60 minutes, ensuring the security of data in the phone to the greatest extent. In addition, 2.0 has improved the anti-theft logic. First of all, when your mobile phone is stolen, the thief cannot turn off the phone at the first time. If you find it at the first time, you can call your own mobile phone for easy retrieval; If the thief can't turn off the phone at the first time, he can only try to enter the password. But once the password is entered incorrectly many times, the front camera of the phone will automatically take a picture, which will become the first evidence. However, there is a problem here, that is, the thief can't enter the system, and you haven't turned on the traffic. What should we do? The only solution now is to wait for the phone to automatically run out of power before turning it off. When turning it off, the system will send a GPS location information to the server. If the thief doesn't give up, he still wants to try to crack it. As soon as the phone is turned on, the phone will automatically turn on the traffic, so that the photos obtained previously can be sent out~
But if the thief pulls out the SIM card and does not insert a new card (who will plug in the phone for a phone that cannot be unlocked)~there is no way to do it~Here I offer my idea - when the phone fails to unlock the screen for many times, the phone will be automatically marked as stolen, the traffic will be automatically turned on, and the location and photos taken by the front camera will be sent, If the SIM card is unplugged and the message cannot be sent, the phone will automatically be released from the lock screen protection and enter the theft mode similar to the visitor mode. In this mode, you can perform general basic mobile phone operations, but you cannot view any of the original data of the phone, so that the thief can relax his vigilance and change the card and open wifi only when he thinks the phone can be used!

Pseudo base station interception

Pseudo base station interception is to help you intercept SMS messages sent by illegal base stations. In big cities, there are still many advertising SMS messages sent by pseudo base stations, and even some fraudulent SMS messages.

Security Guard

The built-in security guard of 360 OS 2.0 is completely different from that of 1.0. 1.0 is the castration version of the security guard, while 2.0 is the latest version of 360 security guard. Is this security guard safe? I have tested the 360 mobile N4 in the evaluation, and it is really powerful in virus detection and killing.
But what is this full 360 security guard? Where is a security guard here? It is clearly a small system~everything should be involved, everything should be managed
Look at the first page, software update. It is clearly a matter of 360 mobile assistant. What do you do as a security guard? The key is the application you downloaded. The system still doesn't recognize it, saying that you are an application of unknown origin.
The second page is the application page. These applications are either duplicated with the built-in applications of the mobile phone or cannot be used (the smart lock screen cannot replace the default lock screen due to the limitation of 360 OS, so a double lock screen will appear after use),
From the third page, the style of painting has changed. It really has nothing to do with safety and perfection. It's all value-added services.
The fourth page is even more exaggerated. With the express and live broadcast coming out, this is not security software. This is a hodgepodge!

System comparison

For this system comparison, I chose a system that you may not be familiar with - YunOS3.2 Navigation Edition. Why choose YunOS? Because this system, like 360 OS, also focuses on security. Moreover, I think the main competitor of 360 OS is YunOS.
Why do you say that? 360 Q5 Plus is a security oriented system. Its target customers should be government and commercial users, especially government procurement, which may be the world of YunOS. Of course, I haven't seen it myself, but I heard that someone from a government friend saw a famous domestic brand tablet computer with YunOS system purchased by the government, These products are generally inaccessible to the outside world. In addition, YunOS also has a YunOS based police system PMOS, so I guess that in the government procurement of 360 OS, YunOS will be one of the main competitors. Of course, since I haven't started using the YunOS5.0 system since the release of YunOS5.0, I can only use the 3.2 system in hand for comparison

desktop

The 360OS desktop is a traditional Android desktop style, and the 360 OS 2.0 system adds a 3D intelligent desktop to the desktop;
The desktop side of YunOS uses the card style. When an application has a notification, you can draw on the application image to open a card notification interface.  

360 OS, a 3D intelligent desktop, can realize many functions, such as air tickets, hotel order reminders, traffic, cleaning reminders, and the opening of various modes;
On the YunOS side, a life service bar is added on the left side of the desktop. The purpose of this life service bar is similar to the application number being developed by WeChat, and allows users to experience the application without installing the application. In addition, the life service provides a "My Card Package" function, which can provide you with logistics information of goods purchased on Taobao, It can also provide information such as air tickets, hotels and movie tickets (the location of the reminder is in the lock screen).

In terms of ecology, 360 needs to lose one layer. 360OS music and video can only be played locally, and there is no ecological environment of its own.
Alibaba has its own complete ecosystem, including music, videos, maps, etc.

Systems and Security

360 OS and YunOS both use privacy mode, but YunOS's privacy mode is a module of the security center, which has only one entrance, and can be accessed with pattern settings (independent of the system), and cannot hide patterns,
360 OS uses three modes: fingerprint, dial and icon. One is capricious. The first two modes hide the privacy mode well. In addition, 360 OS privacy mode has more functions than YunOS.

360 OS 2.0 has the split master function, which can help your system realize double open arbitrary applications. With the split management of 1.0 system, you can realize triple open WeChat;
YunOS 3.2 has a parallel space. This function should be considered as a separate part of the enhanced privacy mode application. In parallel space, applications can also be opened to both sides, but it is not convenient because you cannot accept the notification information in parallel space system applications in ordinary systems. It's also said that a new version of YunOS system has developed an eight letter WeChat, so I won't talk about it until I have experienced it~

The security centers of both systems are very professional, but the 360 security center is too complex, and there are too many functions that have nothing to do with security.

In terms of payment protection, both systems provide payment bodyguard services, and 360 provides users with a property isolation mode. In this mode, only genuine 360 certified payment and financial internal applications can be used, which is not available in YunOS.

The two systems also provide a cold storage room to freeze applications that are not commonly used and do not want to be deleted, and then unfreeze them when they need to be used,
The solution to 360OS is to add an app for the refrigerator on the desktop,
The solution of YunOS is to slide two fingers up and down on the desktop, open a gap on the desktop, and then take the application to be frozen offline,
In terms of visual effect, YunOS is better looking, but batch operation will be very painful, not as convenient as 360 OS~

Both systems provide cloud services and anti-theft services. Cloud services are more interesting. They both use blue as the background color. In terms of functions, 360 OS has more features. In addition, Alibaba's cloud service, Kupan, has been closed. It is said that Meizu system has disabled Alibaba's cloud services and developed them by itself, I have no idea how YunOS's cloud service will end. In addition, the cloud service has been harassed by pornographic content and suppressed by national policies. No one can say what will happen tomorrow!

As two systems with the same focus on security, their functions are very similar, and their security systems are also very high. However, 360OS also has functions such as encrypted phone, encrypted SMS, and travel guard, which YunOS does not have. Therefore, 360 really needs to play a better role in security, but it is only ecological. 360 does not have its own ecological environment, And the investment in this ecological environment is not small, so I suggest customization with other software rather than simply building their APP.

performance

Although the Q5 plus 360 phone is a 6-inch phone, it only uses a 3700mA battery to control the thickness of the phone body. However, it supports fast charging and can be fully charged in about 70 minutes.

From my charging diagram, unlike some mobile phones, the charging speed of Q5 Plus is particularly aggressive in the first five minutes. Instead, it uses a very stable charging speed, charging 7% of the electricity every five minutes on average, so it is almost a straight line.  

In terms of standby, I tested that after fully charged, I answered a phone, took two photos and went to sleep. After 8 hours of standby, the power was still 100% (single card, Wifi and Bluetooth). It can be seen that the standby power consumption of the Q5 Plus is excellent.

But when I use it, I feel that the A screen doesn't save power as much as the legend. One hour of games (Battle of Freedom) consumes 19% of power, and one hour of 40 minutes of video (built-in Youku plays good sound) consumes 27% of power. My personal feeling is that the speed of power consumption is not reasonable. If heavy gamers use it, it will not last for a day.  

My 360 mobile phone Q5 Plus has a score of 136911 for Anthare and 59805 for Master Lu. This score is within the normal range of Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, which is almost the same as that of the mobile phone with the same CPU. The experience score was 117, not 120, which made me feel a little uncomfortable~

Since the Snapdragon 820 is used, there is absolutely no problem in the game performance. After testing the Freedom War and King Glory, the frame rate is stable at 30 frames, and occasionally one or two frames will drop, which has no impact on the smoothness of the flow. It is very easy to play. As shown in the figure, the kite "three kill" has no smooth network. If it gets stuck a little, it will be finished!   

Photo experience

The rear camera of the 360 mobile phone Q5 Plus uses a dual 13 million pixel camera in color black and white mode, and the main camera uses a Samsung CMOS 1.34 μ m unit pixel area. The dual cameras of the iPhone 7 Plus are different from those of the iPhone 7 Plus. The iPhone 7 Plus uses a wide-angle camera and a telephoto camera. The two cameras are completely different,
Q5 dual camera is not satisfied with the shooting effect of a single camera, so another camera is used for auxiliary shooting to improve the image quality;
The iPhone 7 Plus is confident in the imaging of a single camera, so it adds a telephoto lens, which provides twice the optical zoom, to solve the problem that the phone lens cannot zoom.

principle

Q5's dual camera imaging principle is that when the dual cameras are started, press the shutter once, the color and black and white cameras record a color photo and a black and white photo at the same time, and then combine the two photos through the algorithm to obtain a photo with better imaging effect.

Maybe some people don't understand what the unit pixel area means and what role it plays in taking pictures. Let me simply popularize science. The larger the sensor size of the camera is, the larger the area of a single pixel is. The increase of the area of a single pixel directly affects the response of the sensitivity of the camera sensor to different brightness levels, which can show more brightness changes and produce a richer picture hierarchy. In addition, the larger the area of a single pixel, the greater the spacing between adjacent pixels, the smaller the mutual interference between pixels, and the less noise in the picture.
Why is the iPhone so good at taking pictures? In addition to its huge camera R&D team, it also has an excellent cmos. Before Apple 6, Apple's cmos unit pixel area was up to 1.5 μ m.
It is said that Apple 7 will also have a large CMOS, but the specific parameters are unknown.

Daytime imaging

First, look at three daytime samples. The performance of Q5 Plus is very good. The image sharpness is quite high, and the color restoration is very accurate, but the edge image quality is slightly lower than that in the middle. The camera has a very high tolerance. For example, the third photo is taken in backlight. Generally, the details can't be seen when the corn field is dark or the sky is bright. However, the 360S Q5 plus can accurately record the details of both. I will focus on backlight imaging.

The Q5 series cameras of 360 mobile phones all use a single reverse color temperature sensor. Its function is to calibrate the white balance and accurately restore the color of the object. In actual shooting, I feel that the color is more accurate than other mobile phones. Especially when shooting red and yellow flowers, because the camera has no sense of red and yellow, it is easy to have red overflow Yellow overflow phenomenon, and this problem is no longer a problem on Q5 Plus! The flowers in the picture are bright in color without losing details.

Macro has always been the specialty of 360 series mobile phones. The 360 N4 and 360 N4S I have tried have very powerful macro performance. In fact, the bee in the picture can be photographed better, as long as it can stay on a flower for 10 seconds~Unfortunately, I can only chase it to capture.

High sharpness is also one of the characteristics of this 1.34 μ m unit pixel area cmos. The hair of the dog (partially enlarged screenshot) and the burr of the dog's tail are sharp. Of course, the sharpness is too high. If the calibration is not good, it will produce ghosting lines once the resolution is exceeded.

Zoom in to see the details. In some parts of the picture, strange wavy lines appear, which should be caused by high sharpness! Of course, this can be seen only when the original image is placed very large.

Backlight imaging

When I used the 360 mobile phone Q5 Plus to take backlighting, I was surprised to find that other cameras can only take silhouette photos under this condition, while the Q5 Plus does not need to open the dual camera and HDR modes at all. The automatic mode can take a clearer picture of the dark part, which also verifies that "more brightness changes can be shown, and the photos taken are more hierarchical." That's it!

Weak light and night view

Look again at the low light environment. In the same environment, with the same F2.0 aperture and 1/20 exposure time, the automatic ISO value of ordinary mobile phones can reach more than 1100, while the ISO value of Q5 Plus only needs more than 600. If dual photography is enabled, the ISO value can be reduced to more than 200. This is tested in poor light conditions. If the light conditions are slightly better, the Q5 Plus will greatly increase the shutter speed.

In fact, I didn't realize until yesterday that the night view mode of the 360 mobile phone Q5 Plus is not the traditional night view mode. The traditional night view mode is to reduce the shutter speed to obtain a lower ISO, and noise reduction algorithm is used to ensure the clarity of the picture. In fact, the night view mode of the Q5 should be renamed as the dual camera mode, It is to obtain better photos by turning on dual lens for synthesis. In any light environment, you can use the night scene mode to turn on dual photography and take better photos.

The above picture is a comparison between the picture taken by turning on the night view mode and the picture taken by turning on the night view mode and blocking the black and white camera when there is only one street lamp in the community. In such a weak light situation, this camera has taken the effect that looks like a night vision instrument~although the picture is somewhat smeared, But it's still very good~at least I don't have any other mobile phones that can beat it (other mobile phones are all single camera 1000 yuan)
In the following picture, the light is slightly better, but it is still extremely weak. The ambient light is only a few street lights and advertising lights on the roof. Under such conditions, its color is restored well, there is no serious color deviation, and noise control is OK. In short, it is a usable picture.

In another low light environment, the big characters on the advertisement can be seen clearly in the picture taken in the night scene mode, and the light of the laser pen in the background sky can also be seen clearly.

Professional mode night view

When using the professional mode to shoot the night scene, this large cmos is a bit annoying. Due to the large light input, other mobile phones can shoot the environment for two seconds. The Q5 Plus shoots for one second, which is a bit overexposed. Finally, it had to use 1/2 second to get the above picture.

However, Q5 supports a long exposure of 32 seconds at most, so it is either in an extremely weak light environment or has to use a dimmer lens to shoot. In the above figure, I used a low-quality dimmer lens. Although it took 32 seconds to shoot, it has a great impact on the picture effect.

This is a starry sky shot at 4:30 in the middle of the night. At this time, the city lights have the lowest impact on the starlight in the sky. Therefore, I used ISO 100 and the exposure time is 32 seconds. I took a picture, which can show many stars. The next day, after zooming in on the computer, I found that the stars have tracks. Therefore, if I take hundreds of pictures in a row, I can synthesize star orbits, I always wanted to take the orbit map, but it was cloudy from the next day until the test phone was returned. It was a small pity for this evaluation!

Black and white photography

The Q5 series camera can also use this monochrome camera for black and white photography creation. I tried to process color photos into black and white photos through ps, but it is difficult to process the effect of straight out.
It is not easy to play black and white photography well, and it requires years of experience, so I can only take two photos at random to test the effect~
