Due to Samsung's lack of all Netcom CPU and its disagreement with Qualcomm, Meizu's product line this year can only use MediaTek's CPU, while Meizu's mobile phones use X20 and X25. MediaTek's P10 can only be used for models above the middle end of Meilan series, This has more or less affected the user experience of Meilan mobile phones.

Unpacking

The difference between Meilan E, Meilan NOTE3 and Meizu series models is that Meilan E uses the flyme system at the bottom of YunOS, which is compatible with Android apps.

The output power of this charger is 5V 9V-2A, which supports Meizu's mCharge fast charging. Compared with Meizu MX6's charger, the size is slightly smaller (5V 9V 12V-2A), but the charging speed is similar

I estimate that in order to distinguish different products, Meilan E's sensor is made into an oval shape instead of the symmetrical design common to Meizu and other Meilan models.

The standard mTouch of Meizu series has fingerprint identification and mBack functions. I didn't understand it before. Why are the mTouch of each Meizu mobile phone slightly different, ranging from large to small, from wide to narrow. Isn't it cheaper to purchase the same style centrally? This time, the mTouch used by Magic Blue E is the same size as the MX6. I think it should be the same model as the MX6.

The position of the card slot is slightly adjusted, and the card pin hole is upside down. Magic Blue E supports TF card expansion, so the card slot is slightly larger.

The card slot of Meilan E adopts the popular three in two card slot, which supports all Netcom, dual card dual standby, and dual card blind insertion. Compared with the card slot of MX6 that does not support TF card, it needs a little conscience.

System experience

In terms of the system, when Flyme was first combined with YunOS, there were still great differences. With the continuous update of the version, the two sides were highly integrated in the system, and these differences became smaller and smaller. Today, there is almost no difference between Flyme of Android (Android 6.0) and Flyme of YunOS (YunOS 5.1.1).

In terms of functions, the Flyme&YunOS version cannot be root. In terms of built-in software, there is an AliCloud application, and others are no different. Of course, the bottom layer of YunOS is Android compatible, so the compatibility of some apps may not be as good as the Android version.

Flyme's system services and comprehensive integration with Alibaba's system, including video resources from Youku, music resources from Xiami, and even photo albums, which use Alibaba's big data, have designed a function of classifying by content.

Floating video, split screen operation, long screenshots and other functions that are commonly or rarely used are also available.

Alibaba's current app, after this update, feels quite different. Alibaba's current app is a product of YunOS's water trial free app (similar to the app number being developed by WeChat), which aims to let people experience various apps in advance without installing apps. Previously, each app would be a card, but now the interface is mixed together, I feel less comfortable than before. I especially like Alibaba now, because this app is bound to the Taobao account. When you want to query the logistics information of goods purchased on Taobao, just open Alibaba now and enter my card, which is convenient and convenient. My card bag is not only used to check express delivery, but also can be used to manage your ticket, hotel and other things. (I haven't bought a ticket... I haven't tried whether I can now...)

Meizu's mobile phones, since Meizu MX6 started to support WeChat fingerprint payment, and later released mobile phones also support this function (previously released phones have to wait for adaptation), WeChat fingerprint payment is still very useful when issuing small red packets.

In terms of security, Meizu's security performance is very powerful. I tested more than 300 viruses and only missed a few, and those are not necessarily viruses. Permission management supports background startup and mutual startup.

Cloud service is also Meizu's housekeeping function. Flyme's logo is an icon of cloud service, especially its mobile phone anti-theft function. It can really retrieve the mobile phone. I ran 119 points before, and I think I should be able to run 120 points, but after another run, the score is low

Photo experience

When shooting in the daytime, the performance of this camera is fairly good, and the color restoration is relatively accurate. I think the overall sharpness of the picture is not high, and the exposure is too high.

By comparing this picture, it can be confirmed that the exposure of Meilan E is indeed overexposed. When shooting white flowers in the automatic mode (auto focus), the flowers have no details at all. When the exposure is compensated by - 1 in the manual mode, the details of the flowers come out, and the overall texture of the picture is more stable.

The performance under weak light is really a bit disappointing, which also verifies my other view above - there is a problem with sharpness. When I shoot and compare, I don't feel obvious differences in daytime shooting, but at night I shoot indoors. I used the MX6 and another Sony IMX 258 mobile phone to shoot at this location, At the end of the shooting with Magic Blue E, I couldn't shoot it well. At first, I thought it was my own problem, but after taking dozens of pictures, I believed it was a problem of camera tuning

When I took the outdoor picture, I understood the reason, The MX6 system was upgraded once shortly after it was acquired. I remember that the system update mentioned a significant optimization of camera performance. Later, I found that the MX6 camera app added the function of automatic dark light noise reduction, while the Magic Blue E did not have this function, indicating that its camera has not been adjusted to a more ideal state.

Of course, there is something worth mentioning about the Meilan E camera. This time, the macro performance of Meilan E has been greatly improved

By comparing these two photos, Melanie E can take this flower bigger. Of course, compared with the other mobile phone I have with Sony IMX258, the macro performance is still a little poor. However, Melanie E can also display the maximum macro performance when focusing automatically, but which camera must use the professional mode, It is impossible to focus in the maximum macro mode of automatic mode.

Finally, I tried the professional mode, and I felt that the professional mode was not as effective as the professional mode of other mobile phones

Therefore, I think we should wait quietly for further optimization of Meilan E's camera. Maybe the next update will be quite different~

Meilan E is almost the same as Meizu MX6. To what extent are they similar? To put it simply, the case and film of Meilan E and Meizu MX6 are universal! Of course, since the MX6 is 0.6 mm narrower than the Magic Blue E, all Magic Blue E uses the MX6 sleeve, which is slightly loose. The flyme system is really flawless and one of the best in China. However, if you can add some new functions, such as application separation, privacy mode (all YunOS systems have these functions), etc.
