1、 Unpacking

2、 Installation

The master tried to bend the heaven and earth hook rod of Xiaodi S8 inward, and found that the locking tongue could not be fully popped out when installing it. After many unsuccessful attempts, he finally gave up, and directly "castrated" the lower rod, only hanging the "sky hook".

It can be opened normally if only the sky hook is installed, but it is also difficult. This may be related to the fact that the sky hook of our anti-theft door itself is not smooth enough. It was also heavy to turn the key when opening the door with the original lock.

Anyway， It took an hour to install it. The original door frame edge is too thick. Fortunately, the installation master brought it for standby. When the Di logo, the digital keyboard and the fingerprint scanner of Xiaodi S8 light up the blue, white and red lights respectively, I immediately feel that the sense of technology is exploding!

However, the seam of my door is relatively large, so the lock can only be triggered in place by pressing the sidebar directly on the original door sidebar. However, after observing the door hinges, it seems that you can slightly adjust the door to the lock position. Try again when you are free!

3、 Features

The installer introduced the installation of the "Didi Butler" app very professionally, and told not to upgrade the latest version, because some users said it was not stable. Well, anyway, the pea pod can be found in 2.2.4, not the latest 2.2.6.

4、 Experience

S8 supports 64 bit virtual password, that is, you can enter 64 bit password at most, as long as you mix the correct password into it, you can open the door. Because the lock cylinder of S8 pops out the lock tongue instantaneously by the spring force, the sound is too loud when closing the door. There is also a problem when opening the door. The oblique lock tongue on the top makes a loud noise when it changes direction. I wonder if the new model can be improved.

▼ In addition, there are many problems with the Xiaodi Housekeeper app. The function of "authorized door opening" to send SMS messages failed, but the function of sharing to WeChat directly reported an error.

▼ The interface and function logic of the app are arranged in a mess. The passwords and fingerprints related to opening the door are scattered in "personality settings" and "management settings". I hope the new version can be sorted out a little more clearly.
