2： Appearance

3： Disassembly

Use a hard paddle and screwdriver tool to disassemble the Jieshi router. Remove the four screws on the back first. The top two of them are hidden in a small sticker. At the beginning, I thought they were at the foot pad. Tear off the floor mat, and I'm dumbfounded. I don't see the screw...

On board, the missing TF card holder pads are also found. Can the TF card slot be used for built-in storage expansion? If you have a chance, you should make some trouble.

There are many components on the back, and the main functional components are on the front. A MT0864 chip is connected to the WAN interface, which is mainly used to eliminate electromagnetic interference and restrain EMI from exceeding the standard, playing an important role. It plays a key role in the stability of the router. Two network transformers with GTA-3601-R as LAN ports are also key components, and common routers basically have this protection element.

The CPU surface is attached with ceramic heat sink, and the model is: MT7621AT， The dual core gigabit network chip processor has a main frequency of 880MHz, which is several times higher than the previous generation MT7620.

Next to the CPU is a 256MB running memory NT5CB128M161P-EK and a 16MB flash memory 25Q128FVSG.

4： Experience

Just input your online account and login password.

The mobile APP homepage contains eight sections: system information, network settings, basic settings, signal management, USB management, QoS speed limit, traffic monitoring, and system management. Compared with other used routers, the interface is much richer and the functions are much more powerful.    

The main interface of PC terminal is as follows: each function item is very intuitive, and I particularly like USB management and Qos speed limit function. The USB 3.0 interface can be used to manage the mounting of USB stick/mobile hard disk connected to it at any time and anywhere. It is convenient for users to expand cloud sharing functions. This is a function that ordinary routers cannot have!

The common wireless test software SPEEDTEST is used to preliminarily test the JCG dual band router. The data in the red circle in the picture is 2.4G downlink/uplink data. The data in the purple box is the downlink/uplink data of 5G band. It can be seen that there is a slight difference in the speed between the two, but it is not very obvious. The wireless signal reaches the maximum speed of 24.8Mbps.

How about the mobile phone experience? At home, China Railcom uses 14M broadband access. For the Xiaomi router and TP-LINK router that have been used before, the download network speed is 1.4 MB/s. The average speed of this agile dual band router is 2.9MB/S, and the maximum network speed can reach about 4.33MB/S. It seems that the performance is extraordinary, whether browsing the web or downloading software is extremely fast.

It is also convenient to attach the mobile hard disk on the router. By clicking the LAN through the ES Manager APP software, you can easily access the USB 3.0 devices under the LAN. Currently, USB2.0 mobile hard disk is used.

By downloading the 2.03G video files on the mobile hard disk to the mobile phone storage, we can see that the maximum download rate has reached 6.11MB/S. It takes only 6 minutes to download a movie. It should be faster to use USB 3.0 devices.

However, when uploading synchronized data, an exception occurred. Neither video files nor text files can be uploaded normally.

Simply measure the heating degree of the router under continuous operation. The highest point is only about 38 degrees, and the touch of the shell slightly heats up close to the body temperature. A router with good heat dissipation can ensure stability and reliability during operation.

In the power on state, there is a slight light leakage at the panel indicator when the USB 3.0 interface device is not connected. It may have something to do with the shading foam inside.

USB 3.0 can support USB flash drives and 2.5-inch mobile hard disks. No failures such as equipment not found were found.

Common network ports have obvious yellow and green indicators, but the home uses a non 100Mbps broadband network. Therefore, only the green lights of the WAN and LAN ports of the router change during use.

What about the wall penetration performance that we all care about? It is necessary to remind you that several load-bearing walls at home can no longer withstand the wireless signal of JCG dual band router! You can search for wireless signals in every corner. Let's test and verify it in another way! My home is on the 18th floor of the top floor. How about going out to the stairwell to try the signal first? I can see whether the 2.4G band is full of four signals. There are two signals in the 5G band. The light at the stairway is a little dim, but the amplitude of the network signal on the mobile phone can still be clearly seen.

Walk directly to the 17th floor to see that there are still three 2.4G signals. However, the 5G signal has disappeared and disappeared. This again confirms the fact that 5G band wall penetration is poor. What about the 16th floor? two point four G signal still exists! I dare not go down again because of the dark light...
