On September 19, Xiaoyi, a member of Xiaomi Intelligent Ecological Chain, released the micro single camera M1, which is equipped with the M4/3 system. The sensor is Sony's 2016 megapixel IMX269. The official configuration is a 12-40mm F3.5-5.6 lens, and a 42.5mm F1.8 portrait/macro head. The price of single and double lenses is 2199 and 2999 yuan respectively. In addition to the origin and price in the field of smart cameras, its biggest feature is naturally the very Leica style appearance design.

Packaging and accessories

The package of Xiaoyi Micro single camera is completely different from that of conventional cameras. The setting of flip+foam compartment is more like a smart product. We got the 2999 yuan double lens suit version, and you can see the camera and two lenses by flipping the cover.

Both the camera and the two lenses have their own instructions. The shoulder straps are attached with leather like lines. The shoulder straps are very soft and feel very comfortable.

The other accessories are the charging head and data cable. The charging head is the standard version of the Xiaomi/Hongmi series charging head (of course, this is actually a male model), with an output power of 5V 1A.

Xiaoyi's 42.5mm F1.8 lens is very light, and there is a large circle of plastic on the outer circle of the lens glass, resulting in a low "mirror proportion" of the lens. In addition to the material and weight problems, it lacks some sense of quality. The workmanship of the two lenses is also worse than expected. The big point of the slot is that although it has a structure similar to the manual focusing ring, it does not support manual focusing

The overall design of Xiaoant Micro single camera is similar to Leica and other products of the "retro minimalist" route, and the position of the red trademark on the upper right corner of the lens is also somewhat similar to Leica. The convex lines on the body are a common surface treatment of the camera, and the whole machine should be made of plastic. The back of the fuselage is a whole touch screen cover plate. The only regret is that the black edge of this screen is relatively wide, which is not as shocking as the first impression. The whole machine has only two physical keys, and the main operation is completed by the touch screen and the wave wheel above.

The top is a flash hot shoe (the body is not equipped with a flash), and the mode wheel, shutter, switch, and adjustment wheel are all on the same plane.

The length of the two lenses is close, and the size and weight are relatively harmonious after connecting to the fuselage. In addition to the disadvantages of workmanship and materials caused by cost, the appearance of the whole machine is acceptable. The small ant micro single machine body contains only 280g of battery, which is relatively small, so it has more sense of weight than expected. From the appearance, we can basically guess that the appearance of the Xiaoant micro camera is of higher priority, and the operating feel is average. Lens compatibility

Xiaoyi micro single camera uses M4/3 bayonet, which can directly use the lens of other manufacturers with similar bayonet, and its lens can be directly used on Panasonic, Aoba and other cameras with similar bayonet.

The lens test was conducted with Panasonic GH4, and the Panasonic lens can be directly applied to the Xiaoant microblog. Everything is normal, but The lens of Xiaoyi can also work normally on GH4.
