1. Noise test

The small wind fan has three wind speeds, and different windshields have different sound levels. The decibel (dB) is used to indicate the size of the sound. The author downloaded the mobile phone APP that tests the decibel sound. The first gear of the fan with small wind is 17 dB (Figure 2), the second gear is 23 dB (Figure 3), and the third gear is 39 dB (Figure 4) (the data is for reference only). Through consulting materials, we can explain vividly: 20 decibels is equivalent to whispering, 30 decibels is equivalent to quiet bedroom, 40 decibels is equivalent to library and reading room. The sound of the small fan is still quiet, and it will not affect the work basically.

The author has made statistics on the sound decibel values of different wind gears (Figure 5), and it can be seen that the increase in decibel values from gear 1 to gear 2 is small, and there is a big jump in decibel values from gear 2 to gear 3. Based on the jump amplitude, the author boldly predicted that if there is a fourth gear wind in a small fan, the corresponding sound decibel value may be about 70dB, and the data shows that 70dB is equivalent to talking loudly, The human ear will feel uncomfortable at 75dB. I think this may be the reason why there are only three gears for the small fan. This shows that the designer of the small fan has fully considered the user's comfort and is a real conscience product.

2. Wind test

The author tied a yarn cloth strip on the small fan to measure the wind force of each gear. With the porcelain doll bottle in the figure as a reference, at the first gear (Figure 7), the end of the gauze strip is basically equal to the height of the porcelain doll bottle; At the second gear (Figure 8), the end of the gauze strip is about 1cm above the porcelain doll bottle; At the third gear (Figure 9), the end of the gauze strip is about 1.5cm above the porcelain doll bottle.

3. Introduction to other parameters

The body of the small fan is made of environment-friendly plastic, weighs about 156g, and is very light. There is no pressure to carry it in the bag when you go out.

The front and back of the fuselage are designed with mesh, and the holes are also very small. The maximum hole diameter is about 7cm, so don't worry that your fingers will accidentally insert into the holes to cause damage.

There are two adjustment buttons at the lower part of the fuselage, and the design is also very ingenious, which are the mathematical symbols "+" and "-". The author thinks that although the design is more intuitive, it is still hard to press, so it is better to design a round or square button.

The lower back of the fuselage is designed with a small bracket, a charging socket and a small indicator light. The design of the small bracket is a bit weak. When the fan is turned on, and then the bracket is turned on, the body will slowly rotate to one side. This may be because the bracket is too small, but you can put a towel under the fan and other objects with high friction force to avoid the rotation of the body.

When charging the small fan, the indicator will flash, and the indicator will always be on after it is fully charged.

The small wind fan is also equipped with a khaki leather bracelet, which is also beautiful in design. The bracelet is printed with the phantom logo and the product name, which looks very artistic on the whole.

There is a silicone pad at the bottom of the fuselage to prevent the fuselage from sliding, but the design is a little small. When the bracket is opened, the silicone pad does not work.

4. Charging and use time:

After the small fan is completely discharged, start charging. The charger is 0.5A. The time is 9:5 p.m., the time to fully charge is 10:45 p.m., and the sharing time is 1 hour and 40 minutes. Due to time constraints, the author only tested the power consumption time under the highest wind power. The operation started at 4:05 p.m. and stopped at 17:25 p.m. The sharing time was 1 hour and 20 minutes, which was very good for small batteries with only 1200mhA. Due to the limited time, it is impossible to detect the standby time of the small fan, but according to the official website, the standby time is very long. The charging line is 80cm long, which is suitable. Of course, it will be more convenient to use if it is longer.

The author visited the major online sales platforms of Fantasy Small Fan and summarized the user's comments on the small fan. It is generally reported that the fan motor is noisy. After a few days of use, there is a lot of oil in the inner circle of the shell. The white color is not very resistant to dirt, especially the belt. The back bracket is not very solid. However, the overall evaluation is still high.
