At that time, I felt that this was a milestone product of a domestic smart watch, and it was already in the leading position of domestic smart watches. A year later, I got the second generation ticwatch smart watch again. There is not much change in the hardware configuration, but many improvements have been made in details. So I plan not to write the traditional evaluation, but to make some comments on the improvements and changes of ticwatch2, so that everyone can understand the evolution made on this ticwatch2.

First, let's take a look at the design of the outer packaging. Although it is still black, it has changed from a generation of long strip packaging to a square box. Although the outside slogan has not changed, it doesn't feel like a generation of luxury, but it is more like a high-tech product.

The sticker on the side shows the information of the watch. Unlike the previous generation, it adds an ICCID code, which is unique like the ID card information. Each watch has a unique ICCID. This watch I got this time is a brown leather strap, a silver body, and its number is WE11056.

When the box was opened, the watch was embedded in a cardboard. In fact, during the transportation, the watch had already been tilted off, affecting the first visual experience. On the contrary, it is not as good as the card slot type packaging of the previous generation. But it looks good after it is put right. In order to take pictures, I have turned on my computer and set up a dial. At first, there was a dial sticker on the surface, which is ugly. It's better not to stick anything.

Although the leather watchband does not have a steel band, it seems to have a business atmosphere, but it also has a different texture. The leather watchband of Ticwatch2 is handmade from calfskin imported from Italy, which is fine and comfortable to wear.

This is all the accessories of ticwatch2. I don't know why. There are two charging adapters in my box. I wonder if all watches are equipped with two charging adapters?

The wireless charging base of Ticwatch2 looks much more sophisticated than that of the first generation. It also uses a micro usb interface, but has no indicator design. Because the size of the ticwatch2 dial has become smaller, the charging base has also become smaller. It is impossible to put a generation watch on it. Maybe the output voltage of the base of the two generations of products is different. When the charging base of tic2 placed on tic1 is used for charging, it often fails to charge.

The charging adapter is the same as the first generation. It is still round and has no change.

Below the watch, there is a label of network access permission, which is the only sign for devices with communication functions. The biggest change of Ticwatch2 compared with the first generation product is that it has integrated a chip type sim card, which can be used independently of the mobile phone. The watch itself can open a mobile phone number in section 170 or 171 through Minsheng Communication, which supports 3G networks, and the phone charges are also very cheap.

After the number is opened, you can query the phone charges and traffic through WeChat associated with Minsheng Communication. After testing, the effect of the watch dialing the phone is very good, and the signal is also good. However, there are two defects. One is that when you use a watch to make a phone call, you can only use the speaker on the watch to talk to the microphone hands-free, and the surrounding people can hear it. There is no privacy. Even if you use Bluetooth to connect the headset, you can't use the headset to talk; Second, the mobile phone number in section 170 is generally considered as a fraud call or a harassment call, and is often rejected, which is very helpless.

Looking back at the appearance design of ticwatch 2, it is roughly the same as that of the first generation product, but the screen is more flat, not as protruding as that of the first generation. As for the watch shell, it is of the same style.

Besides, this leather watchband has a different feeling. It is lighter and more comfortable to wear than the steel watchband of the generation. The steel belt often slips, while the belt does not. The only thing I don't think is that because the size of the dial of the ticwatch2 becomes smaller, the size of the watchband also becomes smaller, which leads to incompatibility with the first generation watchband and can't be used universally.

Speaking of which, the strap of ticwatch2 has been improved very well. The design of quick disassembly is added. Unlike the steel watchband of the generation, it is very difficult to disassemble with tools.

The crown is also designed on the left side, but the system can customize whether the custom is left or right. The crown of my ticwatch1 watch has been pressed and can't bounce back. It is estimated that the bounce device is aging. I don't know whether the second-generation product will also have this problem, but it feels very good to use it at present.

Then take a look at the dial screen display. The size of the second generation product is 0.1 inch smaller than that of the first generation, becoming 1.4 inches. However, the pixels have changed from 320X320 of the first generation to 400X400. The display effect is more exquisite and clear. It can be seen from the figure that the same dial, the first generation screen is white and blue, while the second generation is obviously more exquisite, and the color is also better.

The back of the watch has also changed from a generation of metal back cover to piano paint, which is no longer cold and more comfortable. The second generation also adopts wireless charging design and integrated rear cover design, with only a small window in the middle for heart rate monitoring. However, a closer look shows that the first generation has only two windows on the back, while the second generation has three windows. Because the second generation has added a function called watch picking and screen locking, and the window in the middle should be a distance sensor, which will automatically lock the watch screen when it is detected that the user takes down the watch.

This function is very easy to use. It feels like the lock screen password on the phone. Although the first generation also has this lock screen design, it will not lock the screen automatically, but can only lock the screen by long pressing the crown manually, which is inconvenient. Personally, I think this design of the second generation is very ingenious and commendable.

The second generation of products also designed the speakers in the back area of the body, but compared with the first generation of products on the slope, the second generation of products designed the speakers in a hidden position, in the position of the transverse ring surface. If you do not take off the watch strap, you can not see it, and the microphone is also designed in the other side of the symmetry area, so that the design maintains the overall consistency of the back, which is more beautiful.

Another major change in appearance is that the feature of tickle of ticwatch has disappeared. This "scratch" is actually a touch sliding sidebar. After use, it was found that the original second-generation watch still had a "scratch", but it was no longer marked as obvious as the first generation product. It was still hidden in the watch cover at that location. The whole watch looks more integrated.

After seeing the appearance changes, let's look at the improvement of the watch system itself. All mobile apps use the same function. The only difference is the 3G function.

The system of the watch itself is almost the same, except that the second-generation watch has an additional SMS function, which is based on its own mobile phone number, rather than receiving mobile phone messages. I found a strange thing. The two watches were synchronized. The shooting time was on the 30th, but the calendar of ticwatch1 showed the 28th. I don't know if it was a bug.

The Ticwatch2 watch is also divided into several versions. The version I got is equipped with 3G function, so there is a 3G logo behind the version number. The system versions of the two watches are also different. When I took a picture, the tic2 was still 4.2. Just a few days ago, it has been updated to 4.3. The biggest difference is that the long-awaited independent music player has been added, which can synchronize music files to the watch through the mobile phone for independent play away from the mobile phone. However, after actual testing, there are still some minor problems with this new function, such as the app often fails to search for music in the phone. In fact, this is also the disadvantage of wireless transmission. Copying files is too troublesome. There is so much storage space, but it is difficult to use it.

The health functions of the two watches are also important. The second generation watch has added GPS positioning function, which makes the distance calculation more accurate. However, I don't understand why not add the intercom function and positioning and loss prevention function that a children's watch can have when it has a mobile phone card and GPS positioning? However, after the heart rate function test, the two watches also have slight deviation, but the difference is not much.

As for the heart rate detection function, I would like to praise TIC. I have used many intelligent wearable devices for heart rate detection, and most of them will appear the phenomenon of "air heart rate", that is, they can still detect heart rate without wearing them. The ticwatch watch has added a monitoring mechanism. It is found that the watch cannot detect the heart rate when it is not properly worn, thus improving the accuracy.

Let's take a look at the smart voice component, which is the key part of the ticwatch watch. Going out to ask questions is the beginning of voice intelligence. After one year's use, I deeply realized the convenience of voice intelligence and the power of going out to ask questions. It can be said that China's voice intelligence manufacturers, in addition to iFLYTEK, are definitely the most powerful. I'm used to asking questions to set schedule reminders, alarm clocks and other operations. Especially when I ride a bike, I can use voice to operate many things.

However, after my generation of watches were upgraded to the latest system version, the voice of asking questions was not good. It always prompted that the network could not be connected. However, after the second-generation watch joined the independent 3G network, it became very useful to ask questions. It can search many things, super intelligence.

There is also a small difference in the system, that is, there is an icon of mobile phone signal in the pull-down shortcut card. When 3G is enabled, the signal strength of the mobile phone card will be displayed here, which is very useful.

Smart watch, the biggest enemy or the short board has the problem of timely endurance. According to the test, the charging time of the ticwatch2 watch is very fast, and it can be fully charged in about one hour. However, there is a small bug. When charging, the time on the screen will not change. I hope it can be improved in the future.

For the endurance time, I normally use it during the day, and use the night flight mode, which consumes about 50% of the power in one day. However, it is still the same problem as ticwatch1. It will always power down suddenly and quickly, or power down suddenly and slowly, which is not very stable. But it is OK to support normal use for a day, and the fruit watch is just like this.

The end is coming. Finally, let me talk about the comfort of these two watches. After personal measurement, the weight of ticwatch 1 is 83.1g, while that of ticwatch 2 is only 45g, with a difference of nearly half. Of course, there is the factor of steel belt, but it is enough to show that the second-generation products have done a lot of work on weight optimization.

As far as the wearing feeling is concerned, the first generation of steel band watches feel a little heavy. They always accidentally hit something else. It's also uncomfortable to play with the computer and keyboard, while the second generation watches feel good, light and comfortable. Many people say that the belt has poor air permeability. I think it's OK, and it's also very business like.

Summarize this comment. The Ticwatch2 watch is much better than the first generation product in terms of appearance, hardware and system. Although the hardware configuration has not improved much, it is enough for a smart watch. Too high hardware will increase the power consumption. However, in terms of functions, I think it needs to be strengthened. In fact, some functions such as NFC card swiping function, positioning anti loss function, voice intercom function, etc. can be added, and even a 2 million pixel camera can be added like 360 children's watch to make it more powerful and become the most advanced domestic smart watch.
