Many dogs have been thoroughly integrated into the family and become very important members of the family. You should walk your dog downstairs in the morning and evening. Only when your dog is in a good mood can he thrive. When walking the dog, the problem arises. What if the dog suddenly gets lost? If you look for a needle in a haystack, don't you? So Xiaoxuan mini pet loss prevention device came into use. As long as you take it with your dog, you can easily locate it and be afraid of going anywhere.

Unpacking

After receiving the package, they opened it. Xiaoxuan mini's package was very compact. It was wrapped in a yellow environment-friendly kraft paper box, and a silicone cover was also presented as a gift.  

After opening the rear box, our main character, Xiaoxuan mini anti drop device, is directly above the protective foam, and a standard plastic protective cover is below.

The back of the box and the back of Xiaoxuan are pasted with SN code. We need to input SN code when pairing. Xiaoxuan also has IMEI code on the back. Because Xiaoxuan is good at uploading data and positioning base stations through GSM network, equipment with SIM card must have IMEI code.

Appearance

Xiaoxuan mini is really mini, just the size of an eraser, very light. The pet will not feel uncomfortable when wearing it.

Xiaoxuan's front is very simple, with only English "petalways" characters, a button and an LED indicator light. Press and hold the button for one second, and the blue light will turn on. When in normal use, the indicator light is in a blue slow flashing state. Press and hold for 3 seconds, and the blue light will be on for a long time, which means the machine will shut down. When the power of the device is low, the red light flashes. The charging state is that the blue light flashes once a second. When fully charged, the blue light stays on.

The charging contact interface is below the front of Xiaoxuan mini. Magnetic charging is adopted, which can be attached to the attached charging line. Due to the magnetic direction, if the direction is reversed, it will be repelled. Don't worry about charging failure if the direction is reversed.  

On the top of Xiaoxuan's front is a waterproof plug. When opened, the inside is a SIM card slot and a reset button.

The sim card supported by Xiaoxuan is a micro sim card. After inserting it in the above direction, you need to press the reset button once before it can work normally.

Xiaoxuan's waterproof grade is IP65. Even if it rains outside and the pet gets wet, there is no need to worry about Xiaoxuan mini being damaged by water.

Installation

Xiaoxuan mini comes with a colorful silicone protective cover, which can be put into the silicone cover completely.

This can not only prevent dust and water, but also prevent knock and collision.

You can also put Xiaoxuan in the standard plastic protective shell, and then fasten it to the dog's collar with a magic belt.

Whether it is a silicone cover or a plastic protective case, we have left a charging hole. When we charge, we don't need to remove the Xiaoxuan mini from the inside, which is very user-friendly.

APP Registration and Matching

Scan the QR code to download Xiaoxuan APP.

After entering Xiaoxuan APP, you can use the APP after simple registration and name.

After entering the main interface, there are five DOCKS below, namely, map, message, main interface, fan and activity.

First, click on the upper right corner to add pets.

Pets have rich information, including name, birthday and gender. Click on the pet breed and select your own dog breed. Dozens of dog breeds are really too many. In short, you can have all breeds and options.

After adding pets, add devices.

Click Add Device to pop up options. We mainly add Xiaoxuan mini. Select mini, and then enter the serial number on the back of Xiaoxuan, or scan the code.

Positioning and Use

After we successfully bind Xiaoxuan mini, wait a moment, and the main interface will be located successfully.

Click the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner to open the menu interface, which has its own personal information, account binding, address book, device management, and about and version upgrade options.

After clicking the mini icon of your pet, the progress map interface will automatically display the current pet location.

The map mode can be switched in the upper left corner of the top status, and you can select floor plan and satellite map. The address and time of the last location are displayed in the middle. The right side shows Xiaoxuan's last positioning power and signal strength. If the battery is being charged, a charging symbol will appear next to the battery, and the status display is designed very intuitively.

Since Xiaoxuan can insert a SIM card to upload traffic, there are four kinds of positioning:

1. In the outdoor open space, it is GPS positioning. Needless to say, the accuracy is very high and the positioning is very accurate.

2. When there is no GPS signal indoors, LBS positioning can be displayed through base station positioning. Base station positioning is to use the SIM card to locate the surrounding cellular network base stations, which is less accurate than GPS positioning.

3. If there is no GPS, you can use the surrounding WIFI to locate. Xiaoxuan will detect nearby WIFI signals, identify WIFI MAC addresses, and locate them through the database of WIFI MAC addresses recorded on the cloud.

4. If home WIFI is specified, you can use your own home WIFI signal to locate the WIFI zone.

Positioning in the upper right corner of the map can quickly locate the current position. If you click Real time Tracking, Xiaoxuan mini will send its location to the server in real time through the command. After receiving the location, the status bar and location will be updated in real time.

For ordinary positioning, Xiaoxuan uploads location information once every 30 minutes outdoors by default. If real-time tracking is selected, because Xiaoxuan will frequently upload location information through the data network, the standby power consumption of the mini and the traffic consumption of the mobile phone card will be very large, so it is turned off by default. Only when our pets are lost and need to be found, it is recommended to enable real-time tracking.

The historical records can look back at the places Xiaoxuan once located every day.

After confirmation, the location information will appear on the map in the order of recording time. I took Xiao Xuan to Dalian and Shenyang on a business trip on August 31, and returned to Fuxin from Shenyang on September 2. Xiao Xuan recorded all the way along the highway.

Click Gear to set Xiaoxuan's automatic sleep, MAC address of home WIFI and upload frequency. After automatic sleep is enabled, Xiaoxuan will sleep automatically after a period of inactivity. When the movement of the pet is detected again, it will be automatically activated to restore the working state, playing the role of saving power and flow. The shorter the upload frequency is, the more frequent it will be, and the more timely and accurate the location is, at the cost of consuming too much power and traffic. You can't have both fish and bear's paw, so you should weigh the advantages and disadvantages.

The message interface is divided into system message, expert push and related to me.

The system message records the time when Xiaoxuan leaves home WIFI and pushes an alarm. When the battery is low, Xiaoxuan will also push an alarm to remind you to charge in time.  

Click the tag of pet's exercise amount on the main interface to see the amount of exercise of pets in recent days. Through the time coordinate, you can clearly know when your pets are exercising most and when they are resting every day. It can also be compared with the sports of the previous days, so that we can analyze the recent liveliness of pets. If a pet is not active, nine out of ten it will be sick. So we can judge the health status of pets in advance.

According to the pet's sports, pets also have bonus points, which can be ranked with the pet points uploaded by other Xiaoxuan.

Fan Er's DOCK is equivalent to the circle of friends in the pet industry. You can post your own pet photos, click the "+" number to publish posts and articles, give others praise, and also publish dog finding inspiration.

Summary

There was a small episode in this report. After Xiaoxuan mini was mailed to me, it was unable to go online and locate. During this period, I contacted Xiaoxuan's engineer and sent them back to the factory for inspection. After testing, Xiaoxuan has no problem. It should be that neither of my phone cards supports 2G traffic. Later, the engineer simply brought me a random flow card for their own use. Finally, I can achieve positioning and tracking, and complete the report on the trial experience of positioning. Thanks to Xiao Xuan, the official engineer, for his patient answers on WeChat, which are basically answered every second.

After nearly a month of experience, I want to talk about what I expect to improve:

1. It is recommended to press and hold the power button for a few seconds, like Bluetooth headset pairing, and then use the input sn to bind after a special light flashes. Otherwise, as long as you know your sn, anyone can bind it before you bind it, and it is easy to reveal location privacy. Future products can be designed to verify the pairing status of mini through the network only after the card is plugged in and successfully connected to the network, and the power key is pressed for a few seconds to activate the pairing mode. After success, you can enter sn to complete the binding.  

2. It is recommended to equip a special flow card to flush the flow through official channels, which is more preferential and easier to manage the flow.

3. The magnetic force of the charging magnet is a little small, and it is easy to bounce off at a slight touch, leading to charging interruption.

After a month long experience, it can be seen that Xiao Xuan is a sincere work of Zaihuan Company. He gave up the Bluetooth transmission with limited distance, and instead used the GSM data network, which can upload and download data around the clock, and built-in high-precision GPS, which can realize GPS WIFI、 The triple positioning of cellular mobile base station is accurate and fast. Through the mobile phone, you can remotely monitor the position of the pet in real time, dynamically display the historical trace, so that when the pet is lost, you can quickly locate and find him. It can also record the amount of exercise of the pet, always know the health and liveliness of the pet, and has its own circle of friends, which can communicate closely with the pet owner. Its compact shape, simple operation and dust-proof and waterproof design can accompany pets to carry out various sports and rain without failure.
