Since its debut, oppo R9 plus has been widely sought after. From the initial "charging for five minutes, talking for two hours" to the later runner pushing the Oppo mobile phone, Oppo has occupied an important position in the mobile phone market. During my one month of using R9 plus, I have a deep understanding of this mobile phone. Or surprise, or regret, let me explain to you one by one.

Charging and endurance

To make the test more intuitive, let's compare it with the iPhone 6 plus, which was popular last year.  

(Discharge)

Charge the two phones by 100%, clean the memory, and close all other applications to create the same environment for the two phones. In the first 50 minutes, I used iQIYI client to play one of the runner seasons. At the end of 50 minutes, the power consumption has been clearly differentiated. The difference between the two mobile phones is 14%. The second program is to turn off iQIYI and replace it with QQ. About an hour later, the remaining power of the oppo is 84%, while that of the iPhone is only 59%. The third part, turn off QQ and simply play games. Half an hour later, the remaining power of the opo is 76%, while that of the iPhone is only 43%. It can be seen that the power consumption of opo has certain advantages.

Opo, which is famous for its fast charging, is really remarkable in charging. As can be seen from the following picture, the two mobile phones discharge electricity at the same time. I collected the charging power of two mobile phones at different time points. At the end of 81 minutes, the power of the oppo had reached 100%, while that of the iphone was only 59%.

Appearance Settings

In the figure below, the left is the oppo R9 plus, whose main screen is 6 inches, while the right is the iPhone 6 plus, whose main screen is 5.5 inches. So, in the next comparison diagram, place the iPhone 6 plus with a small screen on it for comparison. From the appearance, we can see that the two mobile phones have high appearance values. However, there are still some differences in the inconspicuous details, which also brings problems to the use.

The task key and return key are hidden on the left and right sides of the home key of the oppo. The return key is to the right of the home key. After the user selects the video for full screen processing on the video client, he may press the return key when holding the phone horizontally. I have misoperated many times. However, there are disadvantages as well as advantages. The return key designed in this way can realize one handed operation. This is what the iPhone doesn't have.

Although there is a difference of 0.5 inch between the two mobile phones, there is only a circle of margin difference. As can be seen from the side, the thickness is almost the same, and there is no difference in the feeling of holding them in the hand. However, since the proportion of the Oppo screen is far more than that of the iPhone, the Opoo is a magic tool for watching videos and chasing dramas. However, the power key and card slot of the iPhone are just the opposite of the oppo. The power key of the opo is in the middle of the phone. If the user holds the phone in his hand, it is easy to turn off the phone if he uses too much force. I have misoperated many times.

As can be seen from the above picture, the surface paint of the iPhone 6 plus has been worn. The appearance of the iPhone is easy to paint off.

In the side design, the iPhone has one more button mute than the Oppo. For me, this is a very convenient setting, which can quickly avoid waking a sleeping child.

Fingerprint

At present, the fingerprint function is added to almost all middle and high-end mobile phones on the market, claiming to prevent privacy leakage. But I prefer to use it to prevent mistakenly touching the screen. The mobile phone is placed in the bag, and the screen is often broken when it encounters the power key. Then the phone is dialed to XXX. I don't believe you haven't met it. However, after locking the fingerprint, even if it touches the power key, it will not cause disturbance to that XXX. This is what I prefer. Then, let's compare fingerprint unlocking.

(Recording)

Recording fingerprints is also a technical activity. Iphone 6plus recorded 13 times and recorded 6 times around the fingerprint. Oppo 12 times, recording 8 times around. In the process of fingerprint recording, OPPO successfully recorded 90% of the area of the fingerprint for 8 times, and repeatedly recorded the three stripes in the center of the fingerprint for the 9-12 times. Although the fingerprint was repeatedly confirmed during the recording, the oppo still needs to repeatedly confirm the fingerprint when using the fingerprint to unlock.

(Use)

During the recording, two mobile phones were unlocked simultaneously for 4 times. It can be clearly seen that for the first four times, the two phones were unlocked very smoothly, and the unlocking speed of the opo phone was significantly faster than that of the iphone. However, after the second or third time of unlocking, the oppo phone cannot be successfully unlocked at the first time, and the fingerprint needs to be confirmed again before unlocking. The iPhone locks the screen faster than the Oppo. The iPhone can lock the screen only by pressing the power key, while the oppo can lock the screen only after pressing the power key for a few seconds. If you press the oppo power key to immediately restart the screen, the screen will not lock. I tried to identify errors five or six times in the process of using oppo, and finally I could only unlock them through the preset pattern. In addition to fingerprint unlocking, oppo unlocks by drawing a preset group. The iPhone needs to enter a password.

Summary:

During the month when I used OPPO, this mobile phone has attracted the attention of many people, including my students and colleagues. Oppo is a fashionable mobile phone featuring fast charging, which is popular among young people. Super large screen and ultra-thin body are really good things for chasing dramas. However, the third day after I got the phone, the phone automatically shut down during the charging process, and the motherboard was scrapped. After replacing the motherboard, WeChat can only send videos to one group. If the second group is forwarded, WeChat is stuck and can only be forced to close WeChat through the taskbar. After restarting WeChat, the second group cannot be forwarded.  

I have been using the iPhone 6 plus for a whole year. In a year, I didn't go to the after-sales service. Except that the screen stuck several times, it was restarted and resolved. There was no problem.
