Zero DOBBY unpacking

The pitch angle adjustment of the camera is manual, and the pitch range is - 90 °~22.5 °. There are six gear settings. "Image stabilization" can be set for all angles, which greatly improves the success rate of taking pictures. In terms of flight control, DOBBY does not provide a remote control, but uses a mobile phone to control. The aircraft is connected to the mobile phone through WiFi, and all operations are touch. WiFi supports 2.4G and 5G channels. There are many playable modes in the APP, and the target tracking and face tracking functions have not been opened yet. The takeoff mode can choose to take off from the ground or palm. If you are proficient in palm takeoff, you can throw off without being affected by the site. There are two flight modes: indoor flight and outdoor flight. For outdoor flight, if it is the first flight, magnetic field correction should be carried out. Generally speaking, if the location change is within 100km, the first flight correction can be carried out. The purpose of magnetic field correction is to correct the unmanned direction. GPS can only provide coordinate information and cannot indicate the direction.

There are several control modes. The somatosensory mode is to operate the aircraft according to the action of the mobile phone. I don't like the somatosensory mode and the rocker mode. Although the touch screen is easy to operate, its hand feel and accuracy are certainly not as good as the flight rocker. Personal tendency is somatosensory mode, and the aircraft is responsive.

All photos and videos taken are stored in the aircraft, with a built-in storage of 16GB, which supports sharing, but needs to be downloaded to the mobile phone first.

Zero DOBBY UAV flight

Before the flight, pay attention to the weather. The anemometer of tens of yuan is very practical. It has its own temperature and wind speed display. The wind speed of the day is 7.7 km/h, about Level 2 wind. The wind direction is northwest. DOBBY has good wind resistance. Officially, if you remember correctly, it can resist Level 4 wind. Friendly tips: try to fly in an open area away from people and children. Once out of control, the consequences are very troublesome.

It is not difficult to take off on the palm. After several flights, you can take off on the palm perfectly.

When taking off and landing on the palm, be sure to pay attention to the fact that the palm should be fully extended and flat, and be careful not to hurt your hands by the propeller of the aircraft.

DOBBY's flight control has a certain self correction ability. It can adjust itself when affected by external factors, but it is only a slight force. Don't exert too much force, and the aircraft will still lose control.

DOBBY uses GPS+GLONASS dual star mode for positioning outdoors. If more than 8 satellites are searched, it can fly. The updated APP also supports AGPS assisted positioning, which greatly shortens the time for locating and searching satellites.

Outdoor hovering is really stable. If you take off from the ground with one button, you will automatically hover about 90cm above the ground.

There is a 30 minute novice period for a new aircraft when it first starts flying. The novice period can only fly outdoors, not indoors. However, the new version of APP can be turned off in the software settings. Personally, it is recommended not to turn it off. It is necessary to accumulate flight experience step by step.

I had only played with a small plane with that kind of toy before. It was too difficult to fly because of the shadow. I was particularly worried about the plane bombing when I flew for the first time. However, after watching the tutorial video and flying for a few minutes, I was generally familiar with the operation methods, and I could complete some simple flight operations and photography. More complex operations are still learning. I feel very happy that there is no bomb.

DOBBY can fly up to 50m and 100m away. This is official propaganda. Actually, it can fly higher, but the WI-FI will be interrupted. We can see that the relay can fly up to 200m away. However, considering DOBBY's weak endurance, we are worried that flying out will become abandoned.
