Yijia Silver Ear 2 earphones have recently arrived in the evaluation room. Like the first generation of products, it adopts an in ear design, a 9mm dynamic drive unit, and supports remote control. On August 26, the official website of Yijia Mobile announced that it would be officially launched at 10:00 a.m. on August 30, with a price of 119 yuan. There are obsidian black and mint gold colors. These have been mentioned in the previous newsletter. Today, we will focus on the actual hearing performance of one plus tremella 2.

Unpacking

One plus tremella 2 received by the evaluation room adopts a two-layer packaging design. Opening the outer packaging box is similar to opening the zipper. This design is consistent with that of the first generation. After opening the carton, we can see that the package of one plus tremella 2 is black, both the inner package and one plus tremella 2 are in black design, which is officially called obsidian black. Both earphones, headphone cables and silicone earphones are black. The other version is called mint gold. We can rest assured that not all earphones in that version are gold. That's decisive and vulgar. The silicone earphones and headphone cables are white.

After opening the inner package, we found that the elements in the package box were mainly black, and Never Settlement would not "carve" them conspicuously in the package. And one plus tremella 2 lay there quietly, impartial. Three silicone earplugs are attached, one of which has been pre attached to the headset. The appearance of one plus tremella 2 is quite different from that of one plus tremella 2 and JBL E1+(one plus customized version), which is almost the same as that of one plus tremella 1.

Then we will compare the parameters of Yijia tremella 2 with those of several other earphones that are or were on sale on the official website of Yijia mobile phone.

As shown in the figure below, one plus tremella 2 is more expensive than the previous generation product, while the impedance is lower, and the sensitivity is almost the same. It still has a dynamic structure and uses a 9mm sound unit to support in ear earphones controlled by wire.

Auditory sense

Then we use one plus mobile phone 3 and vivo X7Plus with one plus tremella 2 to see how different combinations actually perform. Then we introduce the Sony earphone MDR-XB90EX used in the previous evaluation for horizontal comparison. The purpose of this is not to compare which earphone or mobile phone is better, but to focus on the listening sense and sound orientation of one plus tremella 2.

We tested the audio performance of the vivo X7Plus before. At that time, it was equipped with Sony MDR-XB90EX. The overall performance was mediocre in high frequency, and improved in low frequency compared with previous vivo phones. We replaced one plus tremella 2 with vivo X7Plus, and we compared the two schemes, as shown in the following figure:

Compared with Sony MDR-XB90EX, Sony MDR-XB90EX has a subtle chemical reaction to the tuning of vivo X7Plus, highlighting the mediocre mid-range, especially the female voice, but the sense of low frequency of some tracks has been weakened. The addition of tremella 2 is generally suitable for listening to female songs, especially pop songs. Then we successively insert the two earphones mentioned above into OnePlus 3, and compare the listening sensation as shown in the following figure:

Once again, it proves that one plus tremella 2 is more suitable for listening to women's voices. One plus tremella 2 is outstanding in mid frequency performance, and the three frequencies are balanced on the whole. Compared with the vivo X7Plus+Sony MDR-XB90EX combination, the style of emphasizing low frequencies is different. In particular, iOS 2.5 based on Android 6.0.1 has a sound quality adjustment switch. Since one plus tremella 2 is a new product, the system has no optimization options to choose from. The author tried to turn on the sound effect and manually selected the tuning scheme of 1+tremella, but the tuning scheme of the first generation of tremella earphones seems not suitable for one plus tremella 2, and the sound quality changes little before and after turning on. So in all the above experiments, we turned off the sound effect of one plus mobile phone 3 to test the two earphones.

summary

One plus tremella 2 has a cold overall sense of hearing, three frequencies are relatively balanced, and mid frequency, especially female voice, is more prominent. Although the low-frequency performance is not as outstanding as that of Sony MDR-XB90EX, it is more suitable to match with one plus mobile phone 3, so users of one plus mobile phone 3 deserve to buy one plus tremella 2. For other mobile phones, if they are models that prefer to highlight low-frequency performance, I suggest they can buy this headset as appropriate.
