"Low profile" is the intuitive feeling I got when I first saw Ticwatch2. It has the appearance of an ordinary mechanical watch, but it is different from the operation of an ordinary watch. As a smart watch, the crown on the left side of Ticwatch2 is not used to set the time of the pointer, but mainly serves as the power key function, which is responsible for operations such as turning on/off the machine and turning on the screen.

Interaction: practical and convenient

When the machine is turned on, the pointer dial is displayed. Swipe to the right to display the application list, which is relatively comprehensive and basically covers daily use. Swipe up to display the notification information on the phone, and swipe down to display common functions. Common functions mainly include quick settings, music, weather, steps, payment, etc.  

The right slide of the dial page is speech recognition, and Ticwatch is produced by the company. Before that, Go Out Quest was a company focusing on AI speech recognition, which launched the "Go Out Quest" application. So Ticwatch2's speech technology recognition is not bad. After actual measurement, the recognition rate of going out to ask is very accurate and the response is very fast. In addition, no matter what state you are in, you can also quickly wake up the voice assistant by saying "Hello" to your watch. It is worth mentioning that when you are doing voice interaction, you must think about what to say. If you speak slowly, Ticwatch will search before you finish!

The interaction mode of Ticwatch2 is very novel, except for the common screen touch. Because the size of the smart watch screen itself is very small, although it is convenient to touch directly with fingers, it blocks a small part of the whole screen, which greatly affects the use experience. The "side deflection" function is designed to solve this problem and optimize the use experience. There is a touch sensor on the side of the bottom of the dial, and the screen content can be turned up and down by sliding the finger up and down. There is no finger blocking, which makes us more focused when reading messages or news.

The reason why Ticwatch2 is not at the same level as most smart watches on the market is that Ticwatch2 has a built-in independent sim card iron plate, which can enable independent calls. In the case of leaving mobile phones behind, you can make phone calls, send text messages and even watch news online. However, to achieve this function, you need to deactivate it.  

When you go out, you don't have to worry about getting lost with Ticwatch2. It has built-in GPS and can realize map navigation by cooperating with built-in Sogou map. The author purposely carried out a 200 step walking step measurement test. From the experimental results, the test data is only two steps away, and the step measurement is still accurate.  

The Ticwatch chassis has a built-in heart rate sensor to view your heart rate. For some people who do not like sports but care about health, Ticwatch2 also has a built-in sitting reminder function to remind office workers to pay attention to health.  

Supporting App: iOS end is a simple supplement

I use the IOS system. Unlike the app on the Android system, the features are much less, which is an additional supplement to the watch functions. For example, the wifi password input on the watch requires the input function on the mobile phone. However, I found that it seems more convenient to replace the dial on the mobile phone, but it does not support third-party dial replacement.

App supports WeChat sports access, taxi binding, permission setting and other functions. After all, the IOS system is not as open as the Android system, so it is a pity that its functions are restricted a lot. However, it is undeniable that Ticwatch2 is one of the smartwatches with the best compatibility in ios system at present!

Charging and endurance

Ticwatch2 has a built-in 300mAh battery, and the measured endurance of Ticwatch2 is average. If it is used slightly, the battery life is about one day. If the wifi and 3G functions are enabled, the power failure will be very fast. In general, power saving mode is very durable.  

It is worth mentioning that Ticwatch2 uses the wireless magnetic suction charging method for charging. It uses the exclusive fast charging technology, which can be fully charged in about an hour. Generally speaking, it is relatively fast. However, the heating during charging is a little serious, slightly hot, but Xiaobian can stand it.

When I used Ticwatch2, I also found its small details of power saving optimization. Normally, the animation effect of the dial will be automatically hidden, and a dull and simple dial will be displayed. When the screen is activated, the dial will change back to display animation. This intimate design further optimizes the endurance.  

Use summary

On the whole, Ticwatch2 performs well in all aspects of use. Its waterproof level supports IP65, but the official said it cannot be worn when bathing or swimming. Since it is IP65 waterproof, I'm afraid of bathing and swimming! It seems quite contradictory. But it should be no problem to wash your face and hands with your hands. Although its built-in 3G phone function is somewhat cool, the watch needs to search for 3G signals all the time, which is not generally fast in power consumption. Various interactions are very practical, and the most convenient one is the voice assistant. Going out to ask is indeed a company focusing on artificial intelligence. You can get accurate answers to everything you ask in your watch, and the recognition accuracy is very high. In addition, it is worth mentioning that Ticwatch2 has built-in speakers. The speaker volume is not too large, which basically meets the daily use.

But it also has some shortcomings. Its endurance is still a short board. Sometimes the Bluetooth connection is not stable, and the voice assistant recognition is not intelligent enough. For example, when I call XXX, XXX cannot match the contacts in the address book intelligently, and voice calls often fail. Despite these small problems, I still love it. If you want to try a smart watch, Ticwatch2 is definitely a good choice.
