On July 26, Jinli, a traditional mobile phone manufacturer, released the M5 upgrade, M6/M6 Plus, at the Beijing National Convention Center, and invited Feng Xiaogang and Yu Wenle as the spokesmen of Jinli. So what is the strength of M6 Plus, which focuses on "safety", and whether it matches with Sixth Uncle and Sixth Uncle?
Appearance&Workmanship
Because we got the prototype for evaluation, there is no outer package for general sales. There are relevant protective films on the front and rear of the machine, and the blue protective film on the CNC chamfer frame of the fuselage that Jinli has always been covering has not been missed this time. In terms of new machine protection, Jinli has done these details very well.
After tearing off the protective film, the polished chamfered frame is really "shiny". There is only a SIM card slot on the left, which supports dual cards and dual standby. However, it can only be compatible with two microSIM cards, and it does not use the current popular nanoSIM card design.
There are many more elements on the right side. The microSD card slot is at the top, and the volume key and power key are at the bottom. It can also be seen from the figure that there are some smooth transitions between the back and the frame, so it feels good.
The top is a noise reducing microphone and infrared, the bottom left hole is a microphone, the right side is a speaker, and the middle is the advertised liquid metal reinforced microUSB interface. Similarly, the new USB Type-C interface is not used with the trend.
The 16 million rear camera+dual color temperature flash lamp is covered with sapphire glass on the surface, and a second noise reduction microphone is sandwiched in the middle. The lower part is the new logo of Jinli, which does not support fingerprint identification, but is similar in shape.
In terms of appearance design, the front and back are familiar with the three-stage design. If you want to make an evaluation, it is a strong Jinli style. Officially, its metal fuselage is made of 6 series aluminum, supplemented by 205 # fine zirconium sand blasting process, plus 2.5D glass and the dome curve fuselage on the back, the actual grip is good, the edge part is not cut, and the M6 Plus is in line with its pricing in terms of workmanship.
Screen quality
The M6 Plus uses a 6-inch 1080P AMOLED screen provided by Samsung, with a maximum brightness of 390 nits, a slightly cooler color temperature of 7700K, and a normal color gamut of more than 100% covering 143.3% sRGB.
In the 104 color color level test, the average Delta E is 5.6, and the maximum Delta E is 11.5. Although it is predicted that the AMOLED screen will not be particularly excellent, the data is slightly ugly.
Performance and system
The hardware of M6 Plus does not meet its pricing level. MediaTek P10 processor (MT6755)+4G RAM+64G ROM. In view of the characteristics of P10, the latest LPDDR4 memory and UFS2.0 flash memory are not qualified for M6 Plus. In fact, it can fully reflect its performance in various sub projects, which is similar to Magic Blue E, which also uses P10. Fortunately, the optimization of Jinli is more smooth than that of Magic Blue E in actual use, and even realized the small application of Seconds, which surprised the author a little.
The M6 Plus system uses amigo 3.5, which is based on the latest version of Android 6.0. The security patch has also been applied to July 2016. Perhaps it is because Jinli has an additional chip for hardware encryption on the M6 Plus (perhaps this is the reason why P10 is used at a high cost), and the biggest feature of its system is the "security encryption" advertised.
Jinli calls other software encryption methods, such as 360, as Private Space 1.0, so its own hardware encryption propaganda is Private Space 2.0. It claims that the encryption chip used has its own RAM (random access memory), ROM (read-only memory) and Eflash (embedded flash memory). The entire encryption process is completed in the chip, and one computer corresponds to one code. However, the specific encryption method was not explained in detail, but Jinli's propaganda was so vigorous. The author guessed that it must be at least 128 AES. As far as the actual use performance is concerned, M6 Plus should not enable the overall encryption of Android 6.0, and only rely on this encryption chip for processing.
For users, it is just a "small vault" that can put all their most private things into the vault. There is no difference in other aspects. In terms of verification, the first time you open it, you will be required to input the password and fingerprint, which is slightly different from the password or fingerprint used in daily use and is easy to distinguish. Other settings of the system also have relevant options or reminders, which can really make users feel protected.
In the actual test, after encrypting the photo samples, the author connected the computer to open the DCIM related folder, and there were no hidden files. When viewing the properties, there were no encrypted cases exposed, but the file sorting after opening the encryption had a slight impact, The file manager of PC is prone to minor problems, and it is unclear whether it is related to encryption.
Also added by encryption is an app called "private line call", whose function is simply a customized WeChat for M6/M6 Plus users. You can use the network to encrypt calls and send and receive messages. The use is very similar to that of ordinary phone messages, except that you need to register an account with your mobile phone number before you can use it. In addition to the limitations of the model, it is a bit awkward. If you want encryption processing in daily chat, Telegram, BlackBerry Messenger and other apps can actually meet the requirements, and there is no limit on the model. iOS, Android, PC and others are compatible.
Photo performance
The Jinli M6 Plus is equipped with a 16 million pixel rear camera. The official did not give detailed parameters, and the CMOS is unknown. The photographing interface is a combination of many advantages. The shutter response, focusing and imaging speed are very fast. The overall photographing experience is good.
Daytime aspect

On the daytime proof sheet, the white balance of M6 Plus is well controlled, but it is slightly overexposed, and the analytical power is not strong. After zooming in, it can be seen that there is some lack of details. In the first proof sheet, the words on the road signs have obvious smearing marks.

The small characters posted on the model can be basically restored, the white balance is relatively accurate, and the color of the metal joints has also been restored. However, the details of the M6 Plus in the center are slightly weak, and it is not clear whether it is a problem of software adjustment.

In terms of night performance, whether to open the night view mode has a great influence. In the same scene, the samples with night view mode turned on have higher brightness, but the white balance is warmer. The samples without night view mode turned on are cooler and closer to the actual scene.
Indoor or weak light conditions, it can be seen that when the night view mode is turned on, it is generally warmer, but the discrimination and noise control are better, and the picture brightness is also higher, which means that it takes longer to process when taking pictures. The author suggests that if the white balance is not very tangled, the night view mode will be better used at night.
M6 Plus also provides HDR option. Turning on night view or HDR in the same scene can improve the control of noise, and the night view mode will be a little better in details. The contrast between light and dark of the sample after HDR processing is more prominent, but the brightness is not high and many details of the dark part are lost. The author prefers the performance of night view mode. As far as the photographic performance is concerned, M6 Plus is still good.
Endurance&fever
The M6 Plus is equipped with a large battery of 6020mAh, and with P10 processor and AMOLED screen, its endurance performance is worth expecting. The maximum temperature measured 30 minutes after running a large game was 41.2 degrees Celsius at the front.
