On July 26, US time, Blackberry officially launched its new Android based phone, DTEK50, in the US.


Blackberry described it as "the safest Android smartphone in the world".


The newly released DTEK50 is not designed by Blackberry itself, but is based on Alcatel Idol 4S (TCL).


In terms of the screen, a 5.2 inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 * 1080 is used, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor is used with a combination of 3GB operating memory and 16GB built-in storage.


The main camera is 13 million pixels, the front camera is 8 million pixels, and supports Bluetooth 4.2 NFC, The built-in 2610mAh battery is non replaceable and supports Qualcomm's QC2.0 fast charging.


The body size is 147 x 72.5 x 7.4mm, and the body weight is 135g.


As for the "safest Android smartphone in the world" promoted by BlackBerry, it is built in the "DTEK" mode developed by BlackBerry itself, and security modules are added on the basis of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, such as "fast security patches, DETK applications, hardware renewable root, secure boot program, Android OS enhancement, FIPS 140-2 compliance with full disk encryption".


The aircraft has been booked in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands. The current booking price in the United States is $299.
