However, it can be seen that the distance between the inner black edge and the outer border of the screen is inferior to that of Pro6. However, thanks to the original advantages of high ppi and LCD screen arrangement, the screen fineness of Z2 is obviously better than that of Pro6. In addition to the exquisite background, the color restoration is also relatively good. The saturation is slightly lacking, and the brightness is acceptable, but it is slightly insufficient under direct outdoor light.

About ZUI
This functional endurance and other experiences are based on the stable version of ZUI2.0.069. The current ZUI is more calm and introverted than before. Let's have a look.
The specific pattern cannot be customized for the desktop background of ZUI. You can only customize the wallpaper for the gallery wallpaper area of the locked screen, and then the background of the locked screen and the desktop are automatically blurred by the gallery wallpaper you choose. In this regard, the ZUI of ZUK is very similar to that of a hydrogenated OS in handling desktop visual experience. They try their best to make their UI highly recognizable, so that some users with more aesthetic taste can set wallpaper without too damaging the unified visual image. Icons can be clearly highlighted on the background in any state. However, I think there is something missing. When the screen is locked, the left side of the status bar on the top is empty. The operator name is not displayed.
Compared with Hammer, Flyme and Miui systems, the design of ZUI's desktop icons is not excellent, and it can be seen that some icon designs have reference elements. However, the desktop icons of Lenovo's old owners have been completely exploded, and the UI of hanging OPPO and VIVO brands is still under no pressure. At present, the icons are more flat and refreshing than the early ZUI, and the overall desktop visual effect is also above the mainstream of the current customized ROMs in the market. It's useless to have face but no substance. The overall interaction is also an important part of the advantages and disadvantages of customized ROMs. Z2 and Z2 Pro both provide U health functions and occupy the first screen of the desktop. In addition, the current triggering method has a disadvantage. There are very few built-in applications in ZUI, and even recorders, calculators and the like can be deleted, which needs to be praised! Like other mobile phones, some third-party applications are pre installed on ZUI, but when I uninstall it, I found that its unloading logic was different. Long press and hold did not have the recycle bin icon for me to drag, but there was a small corner icon of X in the upper left corner of the icon that was long pressed. Unlike the traditional Android operation, some people said it was the unloading logic of iOS, but when iOS long press and hold the icon, All icons will shake left and right to enter the unloading standby state. There is a small corner mark of X in the upper left corner. This dynamic and global corner mark appears, making the user very clear that he has entered the status of deleting the icon. However, the long press of the icon in ZUI does not pay attention carefully, and does not know that the small corner mark of X appears on the icon, nor does it let the user know that the icon has entered the deletion status with the emotional dynamic effect. Therefore, I think we can do a better job of unloading third-party APP logic from ZUI.
However, it seems that ZUI does not pay enough attention to the built-in APP of the system. It also uses some ready-made third-party APPs to replace the system applications. For example, QQ Music, the system does not have its own music player, which is actually replacing the music, which may be the consideration of volume exchange cooperation and reducing research and development costs. However, it is difficult to build an ecosystem and independent experience system later. I originally planned to open a separate speech about the quality of external audio, but after listening to it, it seems that it is not worth saying it alone. Let's say it in a word, it is better than my Meilan 3S, and there is still a gap between it and mobile phones above 2K price.
The weather we brought with us is really different from the current ZUI style. We don't know which company it is embedded in. We really don't believe it is an official product of ZUI. If you want to imitate something, you can also do it beautifully, or you can simply beat it flat.
Cloud service is the standard configuration of all major ROMs, but the cloud storage space and storage type provided by Zuk are too few, and the backup directory of pictures cannot be selected, only the album directory taken by mobile phones can be backed up, and other image directories such as screenshots cannot be synchronized. It is recommended that users who are used to backing up pictures find an independent synchronization space.
The prerequisite of cost performance is enough performance, which is still not forgotten by ZUK. The latest firmware of Z2 continues to refine this selling point. The advanced settings in the settings also provide the option of "fast overclocking", which can overclock the original 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 to 2.3GHz with one click, suitable for those who like to play large-scale mobile games.
In addition, like many overlong machines, it also has overseas Internet access, WeChat Red Packet Assistant, shortcut list sorting and other functions, but in general, I positioned it as similar to the second camp of hydrogen OS, which is different from the first camp of Flyme and MIUI in functional details and interactive experience.
U-Touch：

This HOME key function is enough to become the biggest selling point of ZUK Z2 in addition to the cost performance ratio of hardware. It is also a feature that ZUK has been focusing on since the first generation. Before using it, some people said that the HOME key function integration is too much, while others said it is very easy. What kind of experience would it be for a Meizu user who is also accustomed to using mTouch?
Although like Meizu mTouch, it has the function of touch return and press to return to the home page, U-Touch2.0 contains more functions. By default, double clicking the home key can also open the application history. Maybe someone said that many physical keys can also be provided by the phone or can be realized with plug-ins, However, U-Touch2.0 also swipes left and right on the home key to switch between historical applications, which has opened the eyes of other friends. In addition, U-Touch provides more customization functions than mTouch. Long press and long touch can also customize the corresponding specified operations according to needs. At present, long touch is defined as turning off the screen. The HOME key of Z2 is convex, while Meizu is slightly concave. After experiencing Z2 and Pro6, the feel feedback of pressing the home key is slightly soft, and the Pro6 on hand is solid and crisp. What I like about Z2 is that it uses touch fingerprint recognition on the HOME key of an activity. There is no need to press the HOME key under the black screen. And the unlocking operation is clean, unlike Pro6 unlocking, which displays the lock screen interface first and then enters the desktop. Also, due to the different unlocking processes, the unlocking speed of Z2 is naturally faster than that of Pro6. What about the speed under the same bright screen? In order to present the unlocking comparison as accurately as possible, both sets turned off the zoom of each animation in the developer's option. With the naked eye, Z2 is slightly faster than Pro6. Continue to take out R9 to test, whether the screen is off or on, R9 is slightly better.
The fingerprint key of Z2 has another advantage. It supports wet hand unlocking. After simply shaking hands after washing, do not wipe them clean, and use the finger with residual water stains to measure, with a high success rate.
However, there is also a disadvantage. The touch in the pants pocket will also be recognized as unlocking. Of course, there is no finger, and it cannot be unlocked successfully. But after five times of this operation, after taking out the pants pocket, you can't turn off the screen to unlock by tapping the HOME key, and you need to press the bright screen to unlock. Every time I take out my belt, I will encounter this situation. This can be completely detected by the distance sensor to prevent false touch. About endurance:
Non game users, WeChat QQ and the like are resident, the phone message is general, the Bluetooth is always open and connected to the watch, about 2 hours of local reading and less than an hour of online information reading, and online video for tens of minutes. Wifi connection at home, 4G on the way. This is the main usage scenario. When I got home that day, I fully charged up. I watched some local reading before going to bed. After zero, the remaining power was 91%. When I got up the next day, 88%. The standby power consumption at night was very good. According to my use scenario, there was still more than 30% left after 24 hours a day. Compared with my current mobile phones, I am satisfied with the endurance under this usage intensity, which is more durable than my current Pro6.
About heating:
After a day's use, whether charging or video reading, it is obviously lower than pro6. You should know that there is only one 820 in it, which also makes me feel a little confident in the heat management of ZUI. However, I am also interested in the extreme experience under the high temperature game.
In a room without windows, air conditioners and fans, the room temperature is 34 degrees. After running NBA 2K1 for a few minutes, the maximum heating area is near the upper right corner of the front of the phone, which is about 45 degrees in my test.
In the same environment, turn on the ultra fast overclocking in the setting of ZUI2.0 to 2.3Ghz, continue to run the game, and the measured temperature rises to 48 degrees.
Charging test:
Having a 3500mAh large battery is only the first step to ensure 820's endurance, and charging efficiency is an important indicator to ensure that mobile phones are powered continuously. The officially publicized dual surge charge protection design and dual chip parallel fast charge seem to be very high. Let's have a look at the truth.
The charging head and data cable are equipped as standard, and the start time of charging starts from the time of automatic shutdown (mainly standby in the middle, occasionally light operation to light the screen, and the room temperature is 26 ℃). It took 120 minutes to fully charge the battery, which is obviously not as powerful as the official one hour charging of 80%.

About OTG:
Since Type-C interface is adopted, it is recommended to buy an adapter to facilitate OTG to mount USB flash disk. It seems that ZUI is not compatible with NTFS. I use an NTFS USB flash drive. Z2 is recognized as a keyboard and cannot read the content. If it is inserted into Pro6, it can be read normally. The previous Lenovo YOGA tablet test also does not support it, which seems to be the consistent processing method of Lenovo····

In the still life under indoor light, Z2 is slightly greenish, Pro6 is slightly reddish, and the overall color is relatively close to reality.
In the completely dark indoor environment, when the flash light is turned on to take photos, the disadvantage of the lack of adjusted monochrome temperature comes out. The Z2 obviously continues to focus on color, while the 10 dual color temperature flash lights of Pro6 are relatively accurate in color and have a better overall atmosphere.
Looking at a group of outdoor brands, the Z2 color restoration treatment is simple, but the green is more rich.
This group of areas with large contrast between light and shade have their own advantages. The rare Z2 color is more pleasing to the eye. The blue sky and green trees in the upper right corner are more beautiful although they are decorated. The disadvantage is the lack of tolerance. The shadow part of the tree on the left and the shadow part of the car lose more details.
Z2 and Pro6 have totally different nightscape processing methods in the evening. In order to please the eyes and improve the dark details, Z2 increases the brightness. As a result, the noise is serious. Pro6 noise suppression is relatively good, but the dark details are naturally less.
