Old Bottle and New Wine Meizu MX6
Old Bottle and New Wine Meizu MX6

Meizu MX6 was officially released on the afternoon of July 19. The machine uses 5.5 inch IPS screen+MediaTek X20+4G memory+32G storage+3060mAh battery, and the price is 1999 yuan. The performance configuration of the MX6 is similar to that of many thousand yuan computers. The most special point is the 12 megapixel Sony IMX386 sensor. Although its performance will not be very good without optical anti shake, it is still the most expected point on the MX6.

MX series was the original flagship series of Meizu, but later there was the main high-end PRO series and the main cost-effective Meilan series. After the PRO6 was frustrated, the positioning of the MX6 was a bit awkward. Before the evaluation, let's take a look at Meizu's "original flagship".

Meizu folded and folded the MX6 replacement position for packaging. It was not the previous page nor the PRO6 closure. The design was relatively fresh, and there was a seal on the side of the package.

The front of the package is printed with the outline of the body, and the back is simple product information. Meizu MX6 is available in black, gold and silver, and we got the silver version this time.

After the flip, the phone is on the bottom, and the accessory box is on the right. Accessories include instruction manual, card taking pin, charger and charging cable.

The MX6 supports mCharge fast charging, and the charger supports 5V2A, 9V2A, and 12V2A with a peak power of 24W. However, as the battery capacity increased from 2560mAh to 3060mAh, the 0-100% charging time was "extended" to 75 minutes.

The shape of the MX6 is almost the enlarged PRO 6, and the fuselage layout is completely consistent. The forehead is a light/distance sensor, earpiece and front facing camera. The chin is the Home key that supports fingerprint identification.

The back layout and camera size are similar to those of PRO 6, but because of its larger size, it looks more "open".

The main camera is the first 12 megapixel Sony IMX386, which supports phase focusing but has no optical anti shake, F2.0 aperture. The camera is slightly convex, and the ring flash on PRO 6 is canceled, and only the conventional dual color temperature flash is used.

The biggest appearance feature of the PRO 6 and MX6 is the arc-shaped nano injection antenna slot. The metal and plastic joints are well treated, which is worth praising.

On the right are the volume and power keys

On the left is the SIM card slot, which supports two nano SIM cards and all Netcom 4G+. The MX6 has only one version stored in 32G, but the machine does not support TF card expansion. This is disappointing. Maybe it is a concession made specifically for the "flagship" PRO6.

From left to right at the bottom are headphones, microphones, Type-C connectors, and speakers.

The MX6 has a good black edge. The overall frame is narrow, but it is certainly not the narrowest.

The MX6 is equipped with a 5.5 inch 1080P IPS screen, supplied by Sharp, fitted in cell, 1500:1 contrast, 85% NTSC color gamut, and a maximum brightness of 450 nits.

It is hard to distinguish Meizu and Meilan series machines on the front, and they even collide with vivo X7, OPPO R9 and other models. However, it still feels better than the Meilan Note3 with the same 5.5 inch screen, and its workmanship is much more exquisite.

The large screen and 7.25mm thick body make the MX6 thinner.

The detailed evaluation content will be completed in the near future and will be followed in the near future.
