The domestic balance car brand, ninebot, acquired SEGWAY after obtaining financing from Xiaomi, Huawei and other giants, and launched a series of high-quality and inexpensive products in China, such as Xiaomi No.9 balance car, so that many people can feel the charm of the balance car without spending too much money. The domestic balance car industry has developed rapidly in recent years. Balance car manufacturers have sprung up like mushrooms. The quality of products is also uneven. Sudden stops, explosions, spontaneous combustion and other problems are also emerging in endlessly. However, I believe that the balance car industry is in the stage of "screening the best and eliminating the worst", and I believe that the product market will be more and more extensive. OK， Today, the author comes to share with you a different balance car, a four legged product - Flywheel Weir small I body feeling car.

PART. 1 Product unpacking

The product is wrapped in corrugated paper. The front is only the product sketch, brand information, and the side is the product information. There is a strap above for convenient transportation.

PART. 2 Product details and accessories details display

The overall design of the product tends to be flat and round. There is no radical chamfer design in the upper and lower parts of the product. The upper and lower shells and atmosphere lights transition smoothly. The whole product is made of plastic, with smooth upper part and frosted lower part. The lower frosted shell avoids scratches caused by collision of the product chassis as much as possible, but the upper mirror like shell design has been scarred after more than a week of use by the author. The front of the product is mainly a bar type atmosphere lamp.

The upper part of the product is mainly a silicone pedal, on which an arrow indicates the direction of travel. The middle part is slightly convex, and the lower part is the logo of the product. The connection between the silicone pedal and the product itself is relatively accurate, without obvious dislocation. Due to the particularity of the silicone material, the product is easy to accumulate dust in this respect, especially the gap between the silicone pedal and the product itself. However, it is easier to clean. Wipe it gently with a cloth and it will be as clean as before.

The rear is the steering tail light and the charging port. We can clearly see that the tail light is composed of 8 LED lights, which are bright enough to be seen in direct sunlight. The charging port adopts a closed design, which can be inserted after pushing the baffle plate on the right side of the charging head, so as to avoid the impact of dust, rain, etc. on the power supply of the product when the product is in use.

The left side of the product is the power key. The power key is made of metal. Press and hold to start the machine.

The product is driven by a front motor, so the front wheel is relatively "sturdy". The front wheels are made of metal and cannot be inflated. The wheels are wide and the grain of the wheels is rough, so the damping of the wheels can be increased as much as possible to ensure that the skid will not occur on smooth or wet roads. The wheel hub has the brand identification of the product.

The wheel screw opening is stuck by glue to prevent dust and water. However, the glue overflows.

The rear wheel of the product is designed as a universal wheel, and there is a shock spring inside. However, due to the large elastic coefficient of the spring, the overall shock absorption effect is not very obvious. The wheel itself is made of rubber, and the diameter of the wheel is small. The wheel is installed with the body through screws and nuts. The overall use experience is relatively smooth, and there is no case of universal wheel jamming.

Under the car body, we can see that all the screw openings of the product are blocked by rubber plugs, which ensures that the product will not be eroded by rain during use.

There is a groove design on the right side of the product. The design here is a handle, which is convenient for product storage.

There is a product label on the back, from which you can see some relevant parameters of the product. And you can download the relevant APP by scanning the QR code on the right.

The battery is fixed by screws. Perhaps because the machine in the hand of the author was just delivered from the factory by crowdfunding, the opening is not very accurate, but it does not affect the use. After contacting the manufacturer's staff, they said they would correct the mold of the product in the future. So we don't have to worry about the quality control of products.

There is a rubber ring on the fixing screw of the battery, which has the effect of being more dustproof and waterproof.

The net weight of the car is 6.1kg, which is still relatively heavy. I picked it up for an hour when I was shooting on location, and my back ached...

OK. Let's take a look at the accessories.

The product is equipped with a charger with input 2.5A and output 2A. The DC output head has a function similar to tyce c, that is, it can be inserted freely regardless of the front and back.

An AC plug is used to connect mains power and charger, which can be charged at 100-240v.

The product is equipped with a battery pack with a rated voltage of 25.9v and a rated capacity of 114Wh.

The material and workmanship of Xiaoi backpack are relatively poor. Although the fabric is waterproof, it is too thin. The strap is just tied in a knot.

Although the bag is just good enough to hold our scooter, it is a bit far fetched. I think it should be better if the bag can be made into fleece.

PART. 3 Navigation

OK， With the above introduction, you should have a preliminary understanding of the small I cloud car, and how to experience it. Let's feel it now~

1. Insert the product into the battery after putting it in the right position, and then tighten the battery fixing screws.

2. Plug in the charger for charging. When charging, use the charger plug to slide the slider of the charging port.

3. The charger indication is red when charging, and yellow green when charging is completed or power is cut off. The charging can be confirmed by the indicator light. It is worth mentioning that the first charge should be at least five hours to ensure that the battery is activated.

Press the start button to start the machine. The tail lights will flash left and right, and then all the lights will turn on, and the atmosphere lights will turn on.

Open the APP downloaded by scanning code on the phone.

The UI design of APP is not very good. The author suggests that manufacturers should consider the flat design style.

Connecting to the car via Bluetooth will generally be automatically searched and then automatically connected, but the author found that its reminder "connect success" does not mean that the car is really connected. Clicking the Bluetooth logo on the top left corner of the home page will find that in fact, APP has not searched even the car. Click search again, multiple Bluetooth options will appear, and then click "icarbot" Bluetooth to connect. This is the successful connection.

After the connection is successful, you can see the speed, power and temperature information of the device.

There are four options at the bottom of the page: "My", "Settings", "Vehicle Speed Settings", and "Remote Control".

Due to the short launch of the product, many functions on the APP are not perfect.

It is worth mentioning that the product APP has a built-in manual warranty card, and problems can also be fed back to the manufacturer through the APP at the first time,.

In "Settings", we can set the product in many ways

The speed range can be found not only on the APP home page but also in the settings. The range is 1-12km/h. We can also set the atmosphere light of the product. The atmosphere light can choose a variety of colors. The options in the four corners are mode settings. There are four modes, namely, horse running, flickering. The second is the calibration of sensors, and the selection of vehicle password, driving mode and user mode.

In the lower column of setting options, we can view vehicle information, battery information, mileage, temperature and pressure information at each point

The temperature displays the real-time temperature of CPU, battery, left and right motors, and the pressure is the pressure in the front, back, left and right directions.

For calibration, you need to follow the prompts on the app. After no-load calibration, get on the car, adjust your center of gravity as required, and exit after calibration.

Let me talk about the method of product firmware upgrade.

During the upgrade, long press the power supply, then open the APP, click "Firmware Upgrade" and wait for the orange progress bar to appear before releasing the power supply. Then wait for the upgrade, place the phone beside the machine, and wait for the upgrade to complete. During the whole upgrade process, the tail light flashes twice, and it will return to normal after the upgrade is completed.

PART. 4 Use Scenario and Function Test

The author has carried out a series of tests on the performance of the product from the normal life use scenarios.

Under normal circumstances, there is no pressure on the car on the smooth asphalt road, and the tail light can be easily seen in the daytime.

When turning, you can control the size of the turn by the degree of gravity deviation. It can be seen that the corresponding tail light of the product will also flash when turning, which plays a good role in reminding the vehicles and pedestrians behind.

In our daily use, we often encounter speed bumps. Do speed bumps affect our cars? Of course, there will be. It is mainly due to the change of the center of gravity of the person when passing the deceleration strip that leads to failure. This problem will be solved after the user uses it for a period of time. Practice makes perfect, so easy when passing speed bumps.

Parking can be achieved by tilting the center of gravity backward, but reversing can be achieved by continuously tilting the center of gravity backward. Everyone who has used the luggage should know that there will be a process of straightening when the universal wheel turns, so this problem will also occur when the car is reversing, so the author nearly fell during the test. This function is not mentioned in the product manual, but I think it's interesting to try it out. Of course, it's safe.

Bumpy roads are also common in daily use. There is a large gap between brick roads and bricks. In addition, the wheels of our product are small. Although the universal wheels have spring shock absorption, the shock absorption effect is not obvious. The car obviously shakes strongly when driving, and the universal wheel swings severely.

The slope of the test site is about 20 degrees. The whole climbing experience is quite good, with enough power and ease of control.

The center of gravity of the product always leans to the left when going downhill. The author has been trying to control the direction of the center of gravity, but the car still leans to the left. The author thinks that there is a problem with the calibration of the sensor, and there is still no great improvement after several recalibrations. The author has tried many times and still can't control its smooth downhill, However, such problems are not hardware failures. They can be solved through later firmware upgrades and APP iterations. The author hopes that the manufacturer can deal with them as soon as possible.

I don't think the remote control function of the product is very practical. The main problem is that there is a certain time interval between the mobile phone sending instructions and the product response, which leads to the embarrassing situation of "want to go, want to stop". When the product retreats, the uncertainty of the universal wheel often leads to line errors. The swing of the rear wheel of the product makes this function of the product appear passive. PART. 5 Summary

More than half a month's experience with the small I cloud car has filled me with hope for the domestic balance car brand. First of all, Flywheel Weir is an intelligent hardware manufacturer in the Central Plains, not in the well-known North, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen areas. Based in the Central Plains, technology enterprises will drive the improvement of a region's economy and scientific research ability. But only with criticism can we improve. Now let me summarize the advantages and disadvantages of this product.

PROS.

1. The product design is avant-garde. As a portable car product, its size is surprisingly small among products at the same price, which conforms to its definition of "portable".

2. The product material is excellent.

3. The endurance is quite good.

4. The product has set the child mode and car lock password carefully.
   

5. The lighting effect is outstanding, especially the tail light can be seen clearly in the daytime.

6. The four-wheel design is more stable and faster than other balanced vehicles.

CONS.

1. The product is heavy, although small in size but heavy in weight, it is also inconvenient to carry.

2. The ability of the product to overcome the road conditions is not very good, but the performance on the flat road surface is still worthy of affirmation.

3. Poor APP optimization

   The APP will be disconnected and flash back. A few functions in the APP are not perfect. In addition, I suggest to adopt a flat design for the design of APP UI, so as to meet the aesthetic needs of current users.

4. The experience of the "remote control" function is not very good. I hope the manufacturer can improve it in the future.

5. After using the product for a long time, the soles of the feet will feel very tired. Because the vehicle has to be controlled by the center of gravity, the user's entire center of gravity is biased towards the toe part. In addition, the shock absorption performance of the product is not perfect, so you must get off the car after using it for a period of time. The temperature of left and right motors is high after use. When storing them, be careful not to touch the front wheels with your fingers.

The appearance of the flywheel Weir I seems to have opened a gap in the balance car market. Compared with the same four wheel scooter, the small scooter with the same shape, the workmanship and specific operating experience of the small I are commendable. In general, Flywheel Weir, as a newly established enterprise, will develop immeasurably in the future.
