In fact, the appearance of Meilan note3 is very similar to that of the previous generation flagship Pro5. Another problem caused by the cost of the 1000 yuan mobile phone is its durability. You can see the obvious scratches in the figure above. However, when taking this photo, the mobile phone was taken out of the box for about 2 hours. All the author did was put it on a table to take photos.

The PPT of the press conference didn't say that Meilan note3 uses 6000 aluminum alloy, and also uses anodizing and coloring treatment, which is too unreliable... The feel of sandblasting is good, but the abrasion resistance seems to be a big problem. The main machine of the author is the iPhone SE, which also uses 6000 alloy and anodizing process, and has been used for nearly a month, There are no similar scratches. Summary of appearance and design: The price of 799 can bring a flagship appearance design. The official said that this screen supports MTK's MiraVision 2.0 technology, which is beautiful and refreshing. Also due to cost constraints, the protective glass covered on the screen surface is not the most commonly used gorilla glass by flagship people, but T2X-1 glass from Japan Electric Nitrate. First of all, we can feel that the black edge of the screen is quite narrow, which is not like those funny id without borders. Meizu official claims that the brightness of this screen is 400 nits, which can be seen clearly in the sun. The author compares the Nubia z5s and Meilan note3, which were released two years ago and equipped with the 32-bit Snapdragon 800 (msm8924). The final scores of the two are similar, but there are some differences in sub items. In fact, in detail, the single core performance of the mt6755m is still lacking. In the test results of geekbench, we can see that although Meilan note3 uses a 64 bit 1.8ghz a53 as its core, its single core performance is still no better than the 32-bit 2.0ghz krait 400 architecture two years ago. The bit rate of this 4k video is not very high. My computer can play it smoothly without any special settings. What will the performance of Meilan note3 be like?

In this test, we selected the player of Meilan note3, and then... as expected, just like the original mt6752, we only heard the sound, but not the person, and failed to play... Why the 2880p of station b can be played, but the local 4k can't be played? The specific reason is that the author himself has no clue. In short, the result is like this

Well, that's all for video. In fact, it's just my own bad taste. Generally, 1080p video playback on mobile phones is enough. After all, who will take a 1080p mobile phone to watch 4k... Not everyone is a Sofa

three Game performance test

In fact, I think that most users who buy Meilan note3 will not play big games with their mobile phones. However, since it is a test, the author selects two big games, Wild Racing 8 and NBA 2k15, to see its performance in the game test. During the game, Gamebanchis used for frame monitoring.

To our amazement, this wild drag racing 8 which was dropped in Meizu store is a 30 fps lock version, so we can see such results in this test. Except for some stutters when loading, the game runs smoothly without pressure. Even the CPU utilization rate only fluctuates between 20% and 30%.

For the 2k15 with high CPU and gpu requirements, the author can clearly feel the ubiquitous jam during the game, including the results of gamebench monitoring. There are a lot of stalls throughout the game, and the average frame number is only about 25 frames, but most of the time when the CPU is occupied, it fluctuates around 30%. It can be seen that for the CPU MT6755, At present, there are few applications that can fully mobilize its eight cores, so mtk should also start to optimize the single core performance of soc, rather than go further and further on the road of heap core.

On the whole, however, Meilan note3 performs well for these two large-scale games. After all, no one can focus on large-scale games in life. Even 2k15 can have 25fps of Meilan note3. When dealing with other game scenarios, Meilan note3 should have no pressure in most situations.

Of course, the mobile phone screen is big or something. It must be the best way to push GAL, clam clam clam!

Performance summary: Although the Helio P10 used by Meilan note3 is only a low-end soc, its performance is not poor, and it can fully support daily use. Of course, there must be a big gap between Xiaomi's Red Rice Series Snapdragon 650 next door and the higher the performance of the SOC, the better. I can only say that the Magic Blue note3 at the price of 799 has no black spots or highlights.

four , endurance and charging

In terms of endurance, Meilan note3 is equipped with a large battery of 4100mah. Although it is unknown who the battery cell is and what the energy density is, it is 4100mah after all, so it should not be too bad. It is estimated that this power may last for two days for mild users of mobile phones like the author.

The endurance test results of the author are shown in the figure above. The note3 with 100% charge keeps wifi connection, the volume is set to 50%, and the brightness is set to 40%. In the endurance test, the author conducted a 50 minute Hearthstone Legend game test, which consumed 13% of the power, half an hour of station B video consumed 7% of the power, and half an hour of microblogging consumed 3% of the power. After nearly two hours of testing, the remaining power is still about 80%. It is commendable that during this series of tests, the author did not feel that the mobile phone was obviously hot.

According to the author's normal use habit, after 30 hours of use, the remaining power is 49%, and it can be used for at least 20 hours if the normal use continues visually

However, Meilan note3 with 4100mah! Yes! no Support! Hold on! Come on! Charge!

The voltage of 78% charge is 5.34v, and the current is about 1.4a, which is not the standard of fast charging. In fact, it has been mentioned above that the charger of Meilan note3 is 5V2A, which is basically the effect of small water pipes connecting large water tanks for 4100mah large batteries. My own evaluation of charging efficiency is "slow to use and slow to charge". Since there is no quick charge, there is no need to carry out strict charging tests. It is just that what percentage of the remaining time will go into trickle charging, which will have some impact on the charging time

The author conducted a charging test at random. It took about two and a half hours to fully charge the battery after about 46% of the battery was charged in one hour... Fortunately, the battery is large and can hardly be used up in a day. It can be flushed slowly when sleeping at night.

five Heating test

Mobile phone fever has always been a headache, especially now that summer is coming, or the summer in the south of the Yangtze River. If the mobile phone fever starts, it will kill people. I still remember that the Snapdragon 810, which claimed to be able to fry eggs in the past, was really the reincarnation of the Huoyun Evil God... However, the performance of mtk's soc has always been well controlled in terms of heat, so what is the heat situation of the Phantom Blue Note3 with P10?

During the test, the room temperature was about 24 ℃. We used the pressure test function provided by Anthare to roast chicken. After the author had Anthare run the pressure test twice, the test results were as follows.

The test results are very good. Most of the heat generated by the phone is concentrated at the SOC P10, and the maximum temperature is only 40.9 degrees Celsius, which is completely acceptable to the human body, without feeling hot. The MediaTek chip adopted by Meizu inherits the outstanding performance of its predecessors.

six Fingerprint and system smoothness test

Meilan note3 supports at most five fingerprints, and then the fingerprint unlocking speed is quite fast. Although Meilan note3 has brought a very good use experience through not high-end hardware, there are still some problems. The following are some problems encountered by the author in this test:

(1) Occasionally, WIFI will have a draught, especially when connecting to Bluetooth. In any case, the speed will not be full;

(2) Fingerprint identification is still inaccurate when fingers are stained with water;

(3) I saw in the video that the application would be blacked out occasionally, and I don't know why;

(4) The sound quality is relatively ordinary, and there is a strong sense of copycat when playing outside. After all, it is a thousand yuan machine, and we still don't talk about hfi and tuning;
