Part1 | Appearance: three-stage design with nubia style

Its appearance adopts a three-stage design. Due to the use of metal materials and the need to ensure signal stability, the three-stage design is now widely used in domestic mobile phones. Nubia Z11 Max has expanded its size to 6 inches. The 2.5D screen glass has been polished and perfectly fitted to the middle frame, making it smooth and easy to handle. 2. Split screen function

The front camera of Nubia Z11 Max is 800w pixels and F2.4 aperture, which supports automatic skin beautification. The rear camera is 16 million pixels, equipped with Sony IMX298 image sensor, F2.0 large aperture, closed-loop focusing motor, and supports PDAF phase focusing. It is very interesting to take photos. Although Nubia Z11 max's photography is very powerful, photography is also very silly. But for professional photographers, it can also be handy. In more settings, we can turn on grid lines for easy composition, and turn on/off shutter sound and other options. At the same time, there is a professional mode for taking photos. Users can customize the focus, white balance, ISO sensitivity and shutter speed.

Nubia Z11 max performs well in macro photography, thanks to its F2.0 aperture. The effect of background virtualization can be clearly seen from the following figure.

When shooting in the backlight condition, the light source also appears dazzle. However, during the shooting process, I found that its focusing speed was very fast.

Nubia Z11 max has obvious noise under the condition of weak light source. However, there is no glare at the light source, and the performance is barely strong.

In cloudy days, Nubia's white balance is slightly blue.

Nubia has excellent selfie ability and can beautify her face in real time. I invited a friend to make a demonstration, which is really powerful.

Nubia also has a picture editing function with various functions. If you are not satisfied with the shooting effect of the picture, you can also adjust the contrast, saturation and other parameters to achieve the effect of image correction.

It seems that there is still a little blurring in the imaging, and the night shooting ability is noisy. In general, the ability to take photos is not excellent, but only average.

Part 4 | System: The system has some highlights, but there are too many pre installed applications!

The current system of Nubia Z11 Max is equipped with the in-depth customization system Nubia UI v3.99 based on Android 5.1. The system is a huge part, and it is difficult to describe Nubia UI in a word. After using Nubia UI for several days, I feel that Nubia UI considers more about some details, and some functions are not only interesting but also practical. However, a large number of applications are pre installed in the system when it is turned on from the factory, which looks very bloated.

1. UI design

The overall UI with its own official theme adopts a flat style. Maybe it's a personal aesthetic difference. I think the UI icons are simple and fresh, and the wallpaper business style is heavy. The style is not uniform, but we can change the wallpaper or theme to meet the personalized needs.

The UI of the top drop-down menu bar is black and white. For the first time, only wifi, bluetooth, mobile data, gps brightness adjustment and other common functions can be seen. Pull down again to display more shortcut functions, but the location of shortcut functions does not support adjustment. Click the text under the icon to make more settings for some functions, for example, click the WLAN text to select to connect to wifi.

2. Application

At the factory, Nubia Z11 Max comes with a large number of applications pre installed. Users who like simplicity may be a little impatient with Nubia UI of Nubia Z11 Max. Applications "you want" or "may need" can be found in Nubia Z11 Max, and the classification is quite complete. But are so many pre installed applications really installed from the perspective of users? Click the folder, and some applications that have not been installed actually have icons. Fortunately, it supports uninstallation. For people like me who are new to Nubia UI, it is not a good impression.

The routine application of Nubia U is standard, basically meeting the daily needs. For better entertainment, additional applications need to be installed. Nubia Music uses the music library of Xiami Music, but some film and television resources are not integrated in the video, so it can only simply play local videos.

During the use, I found that Nubia Z11 Max also has an interesting function - application separation. By dividing the application into two, the trouble of frequent account switching is eliminated. However, the application avatar does not support all applications.

Nubia Z11 Max supports long screenshots and free screenshots. Long screenshots are ordinary screenshots. Free screenshots are more interesting. You can customize and cut screenshots and doodle. In addition, the Nubia UI also has a built-in screen recording function. By recording mobile phone operation videos, it is conducive to sending some mobile phone use tutorials.

3. Privacy security

Fingerprint identification plays an important role in mobile phone security. It is simple and fast in the process of fingerprint entry. Fingerprint identification is accurate and fast. When the finger is put on the screen, there is almost no time delay to wake up the screen.

In Nubia Z11 Max, fingerprint recognition can not only be used to unlock mobile phones. By enabling the function in fingerprint identification, you can also realize personalized operations such as screenshots and photos through fingerprint operations.

Part 5 | Performance and endurance: strong performance, battery means hold!

At present, all mobile phones face a problem, that is, how to ensure the endurance and powerful performance at the same time. Generally, mobile phones reduce power consumption in order to ensure a certain endurance, while people generally hope that mobile phones have powerful processors, and powerful performance needs to solve the heating problem. In short, endurance and performance are like fish and bear's paw. You can't have both. 1. Game test

In order to test the performance of Nubia Z11 Max, we tested several popular large-scale games. It's really cool to play games on such a large screen. Before testing, every software I tested was cleaned up in the background. Because the security of Nubia Z11 Max is too strong to root, the basic FPS test software cannot run. The test tool used in this test is "built-in GPU rendering mode analysis". The startup time indicates the time spent by the software from opening to operation. In order to more intuitively illustrate Nubia Z11 max's game ability, I made a game test video.

Hearthstone legend: The three startup times measured were 25.76s, 26.03s and 24.43s respectively. Although the startup speed and loading time were also related to network login, the overall startup speed was relatively fast from the three tests. The game runs smoothly, but sometimes (with more special effects) it gets a little stuck. From the analysis chart, it is shown that there is no problem if you are slightly stuck, but only slightly affect the game experience.

NBA2K15： The three startup times are 19.93s, 19.87s and 19.79s, and the loading speed is still very fast. Due to lack of network login and other reasons, the overall loading speed of NBA2K15 is basically the same. The game runs smoothly and smoothly. During my trial, there was no jam.

Fireline crossing mobile game version: the three startup times measured are 30.81, 28.29 and 28.31 respectively. The opening logo of Tencent took a long time to load, so it was delayed for some time. The running speed is very smooth. It can be seen from the analysis diagram that Nubia Z11 Max can be played easily.

2. Endurance test

The Nubia Z11 max has been used for several days, which gives me the greatest feeling of special power saving. In addition to the large 4000mAh battery, it can basically meet the needs of two days after being fully charged. Nubia Z11 max must have made some optimization for power consumption, and the optimization is in place. As can be seen from the figure below, I was fully charged at more than 11:00 at night, and then turned on wifi. With the built-in sim card, I stood by overnight, and woke up in the morning with 99% power. The next day, we mainly used WeChat and games. The power failure was not exaggerated and it was very durable. By 6.38 in the evening, there was still 44% power.

In this 17 hour period, I spent more than an hour crossing the line of fire, half an hour of Hearthstone legend, and spent two or three hours chatting on WeChat while brushing microblog. The battery can really hold!

3. Charging test

Start charging when there is 3% left. No application was used during charging. Record about every ten minutes. Generally speaking, the charging speed is very fast. From my observation, basically, about 12% of the battery can be charged in 10 minutes, and the 4000mAh battery can be fully charged in an hour and a half. The speed is still OK.

Part 6 | Summary

As we all know, Nubia series is launched with the small red circle as its feature, and this design will exist in almost all Nubia models. With the emergence of fingerprint recognition, the design of the Home key of the small red circle is limited to the current fingerprint recognition scheme. It is basically impossible to add fingerprint recognition to the small red circle, and only Nubia Z11 max for back fingerprint recognition can be used. For Nubia Z11 max with a large screen, only the index finger can be used to unlock. Other fingers are really awkward to unlock. Although Nubia Z11 max has also made many optimizations, too many optimizations are easy to cause false touch. Due to the long press fingerprint screenshot function enabled in the use process, the author often creates false screenshots in the use process.

In terms of taking photos, Nubia Z11 max has a very powerful ability to take self portraits. The level 10 skin beauty function can basically enable anyone to take photos of the Internet red. It is very interesting, but many interesting functions require a long shutter speed. If you take a picture by hand, it will be burnt. Therefore, many functions need to use tripods, which makes them very boring. Mobile phone photography has become our favorite feature, due to its convenience. For objects that must be photographed with a tripod, after all, the tripod is a professional photographic equipment. If you want to shoot beautiful works, why not use a SLR? However, as an entertainment shooting method, it is very interesting to use it occasionally.

In terms of endurance and performance, Nubia Z11 max does a very good job in this regard. The processor has strong performance, and 4G memory basically meets daily use. At the same time, the power saving optimization of Nubia Z11 max is in place. With the large 4000mAh battery, it can be used for two days every day.
