Due to the rush of testing, the power cord of mini2 was suspended directly from the cigarette lighter for the time being, which really affected the beauty. Later, Ren E will be removed to free up a USB port to supply power to mini2.

▲ There are various power supply schemes for the step-down line used by ACC power supply station:

1. The power supply of the cigarette lighter female outlet is suitable for putting in the certificate box or glove box, and then used with the cigarette lighter.

2. USB port power supply. In the above figure, I use the dual port USB power supply scheme. Route the cable to the roof and hide it in the interlayer of the roof. The recorder electronic dog device can be powered directly by using the USB data cable.

3. Micro USB direct supply, DC direct supply scheme, that is, directly plug in the mini 2 of Micro USB to use it. This scheme is too simple, and the interface is limited, so using the USB port's voltage drop line is the most flexible scheme.

▲ The principle of taking electrical appliances from the fuse box is very simple. It is OK to use the electrical appliances to take power from the fuse box, connect the other end to the step-down line, and then supply power to the recorder through the USB port of the step-down line.

▲ This is the diagram of my own car's fuse box connection and wiring, which was moved from another post of my own. My Buick's fuse box is located in the ID box under the steering wheel. The yellow line is the extension line connecting the tap and the step-down line. After all, the line of these two things is too short. You need to connect the extension line to facilitate wiring in the car.

▲ Remove the lower guard board to find the safety box of the host of the trip computer, find the safety position of ACC according to the instructions, and use the extractor to export the "+" level and ground the "-" level; Because the vehicle carries 12v voltage. The recorder we usually use is 5V, so here we need the step-down line mentioned earlier. After 12V is step-down to 5V, we can directly supply power to the recorder.

▲ After wiring, walk along the soundproof strip at the edge of the door to the roof. In some places, it needs a little violence to disassemble them. You can do it by yourself and take your time. Go to the mezzanine of the roof and connect the step-down line. Then hide it in the mezzanine. The recorder will be powered directly from the roof.

▲ ACC power supply effect diagram, cigarette lighter and original power cord can be saved, just use a short Android phone data cable, circle around the rearview mirror for several times, and then connect mini2!

▲ Since there are only two power supply ports for the step-down line, it is necessary to remove any line E to make way for the ACC concealed wire connecting the mini2 to the fuse box to supply power. The final effect looks much more comfortable without occupying the cigarette lighter. The advantage of ACC power supply is that the car power on recorder starts automatically, and the car power off recorder shuts down, which is convenient and practical.

▲ The honeycomb opening on the side of the mini2 is a small speaker. Usually, the prompt sounds are emitted from here, and the sound effect is acceptable. Unlike some ordinary recorders, which even have the alarm or prompt sounds open with a fork, the mini2 sounds crisp and comfortable.

▲ I finally decided to paste the button sized wireless button to this position after looking for several positions. When necessary, I just press it directly, and don't need to reach out and press it anywhere else.

▲ It always seems a little awkward. The size of this button is really a little big. I used to look at the effect pictures on the Internet and thought that this button was only thumb size. After seeing the physical button, I found that this guy was actually a little bigger than the one yuan coin. It was installed in this position, Sometimes there is a little obstruction to the direction (because I like to hold the steering wheel with one hand).

▲ After a few finished pictures, the whole front dashboard looks much more comfortable. Except for the wire of the mobile phone charger connected at the gear, other places are much cleaner, and the position of the cigarette lighter is much cleaner.

Live shooting effect

The following pictures are all directly exported from the TF card without any special modification, and should be the most close to the actual shooting effect. After all, the effect of taking pictures on a fast moving car is certainly not as good as that of taking pictures at rest, so the recorder still depends on the recording effect.

▲ After more than 10 days of use, I feel that the effect is much better than that of ordinary recorders. Although the picture is not too noisy, it is not clear enough (the size of the source file for taking pictures is only about 660KB), and the reflection is quite strong. I have stopped putting anything on the dashboard. However, the horn honeycomb port of the car is designed in the middle, so the reflection is quite obvious. We are considering whether to add a CPL filter to eliminate the reflection. The body of the mini2 is small, so it will be difficult to look when adding a CPL filter.

▲ After the video is uploaded to Youku, after Youku recognizes it, it displays ultra clear, but the effect is slightly compressed. The staring and shooting of each recorded video is 3 minutes (about 220MB). After the TF card is full, the last recorded video will automatically cover the front video.

One click photography and video recording

Here comes the highlight function of staring and photographing. As long as you encounter funny, interesting and low-quality behaviors along the way, you can take photos with just one click, and automatically save the video about 5 seconds before and after pressing the button, and then automatically download it to the mobile app album through wifi.
