For shooting comparison models, we found Meizu's flagship PRO6, Huawei P9 and Xiaomi 5 this year. When taking samples, HDR was turned off, auto focusing and light metering were performed.

 

The shooting interface maintains the basic routine of Flyme5. Generally speaking, it is very simple. Users can select the shooting mode by clicking the lower left corner, and set the shooting parameters by clicking the upper right corner. But in fact, many systems can adjust some commonly used functions through gestures, such as sliding left and right to switch modes, sliding up and down to enter professional photography mode, etc, In contrast, the MX6 can only be said to be standard, which is not easy to use but can be used.

In scene 1, we can see that the high pixels of Xiaomi 5 and PRO6 still have a lot of advantages in details. After zooming in, we can see that the font details are more abundant, and the MX6 and P9 are a little weak compared.

 

In Scenario 2, we can see that the 4 mobile phones are tolerant in the high contrast scenario. Both the details in the sky and under the shade of trees are well considered. The only exception is that the Xiaomi 5 is too heavy in color with MSG, which is far from the real scene (the HDR of Huawei P9 cannot be completely closed, so the sample will be more tolerant than the normal model).

 

In scene 3, the four mobile phones are very good at the details under macro. The veins of petals and the details of stamens can be clearly seen. The MX6 is the best in color. The colors of flowers and green leaves are well restored. The colors of Xiaomi 5 and P9 are too saturated, and PRO6 is standard.

 

Low light at night

In scene 4, it can be seen that P9 is undoubtedly the best one among the four groups of samples. Both the noise in the night sky, the processing of light sources and the details of the western-style buildings are better than the other three machines. The problem of MX6 and PRO6 is that they are too heavily smeared and the noise in the night sky is relatively moving. The details of M5 are good, but the overall picture is green and the night sky is noisy.

 

In scene 5, we can see that Xiaomi 5 performs better under extreme weak light, and is closer to the naked eye in color. The details are also better than the other three mobile phones. Especially when we zoom in on the Robber's Ship logo, it can be seen that P9 follows closely, mainly because the color temperature is too rich and colorful, resulting in distortion. The performance of MX6 and PRO6 is almost the same, with serious smearing and serious loss of details.

 

In scene 6, the overall appearance of MX6 is the best, the picture is the brightest, and the chaotic color is also very good, which boosts people's appetite. In fact, the performance of the other three is not bad, but in contrast, the too dark color immediately makes people lose their appetite.

Although there is some difference in the discrimination between the MX6 and the models with high pixel sensors such as IMX298, the MX6 performs very well in white balance, tolerance, color saturation and other aspects. However, the overall strength of the MX6 will decline rapidly after nighttime low light, and excessive smearing will cause serious loss of details, In addition, the noise points after smearing can not be well suppressed, which makes the whole appearance very painful. Fortunately, this problem only occurs in weak light, and the performance is still acceptable at night when the light is sufficient. It can only be said that the adjustment of the MX6 software has maintained the overall level of PRO6. In a word, the hardware quality is strong, but the software adjustment is weak.
