The OBD intelligent monitoring line is the first time to see this kind of line. I heard that the parking monitoring configuration is connected to the fuse box by the step-down line. The OBD line is directly connected to the vehicle OBD interface. The function is the same as that of the traditional step-down line, but the installation should be more convenient. You don't need to remove the fuse box. You can complete the installation yourself. This is really good, and installation costs are saved

Function Introduction

Installation

Installation position: The machine is one third of the size of the rearview mirror. It is recommended to install it on the right rear side of the rearview mirror. The driver can slightly see the position below the recorder screen to see whether the recorder starts to work normally, and leave some room for easy disassembly and control. Adjust the height and slope of the recorder, and try to put both sides of the head and the front edge of the engine cover into the lens.

There are two ways to get power: the contact smoke port is located on the front gear upper interior trim panel → passenger A pillar interior trim panel → under the glove box (stuffed into the underbody lining under the glove box) → in the left plastic part of the center console → cigarette lighter. There shall be no leakage except at the front gear connecting the recorder and the cigarette lighter. The method of connecting to the OBD port is the same, but it depends on the specific location of the OBD port. If you are in the driving position, you need to walk from the left.

After testing the clarity with and without light, the effect is quite different. There is a clear difference between the shooting effect at night when there is light and when there is no light. It seems that the flash light is turned on when we take photos with our mobile phone. It seems that the effect of the machine with LED light is better when there is no light

After the installation is completed, take a look and take a picture of the effect. The shooting effect at night is also very good, especially in urban roads where the lights are bright and very clear. Even if you go to places with less light in the suburbs, you can take a good picture by relying on the car headlights, so the shooting effect of Yunlu R8 car recorder in special weather, such as rainy days and foggy days, will not be worse.

This tachograph can shoot a wide range, because the purpose of the tachograph we bought is to record accidents during driving as evidence. Of course, the more information the tachograph captures, the better. So the larger the angle of the tachograph, the better. It is understood that when the shooting angle is too large, that is, the so-called wide-angle, the shooting image will have serious deformation, which is also related to the quality of the lens. However, the Yunlu R8 DASH CAM has almost no deformation in the wide-angle shooting process, and the shooting angle has reached more than 120 degrees through visual inspection, This is enough to perfectly photograph the front of the car and the right side of the co driver.
