As a reviewer and admirer of Bihoo Routing again, I continue my unfinished fate with Bihoo again. I met Plus for the first time.

The word "Plus" should have been popular in the field of science and technology from the iPhone 6 Plus. When I received the package of Plus, I always felt that what was lying in such a large package must be something of a dragon and a phoenix. To tell the truth, I came back all the way. The white packaging box still continues the style of a generation: simplicity is not simple. The front seems to be the print of the router, the tiger logo of Bihoo, and the bottom is the product related information. There is no superfluous text, and everything just needs to be opened to see the true face.

At first glance, I was still surprised at its huge size. I guess that although its packaging box is very large, the product should only occupy about the average length inside. Because Bihoo uses PoE for power supply, and the router's connection method is also strange, the network cable is directly connected to the power adapter instead of the router (as shown in the figure below), resulting in the power adapter being too large. If you plug it directly into the socket, the three hole socket at the bottom will not work, We can't simply say good or bad here. It's better to say that if there is gain, there will be loss.

I really like the two network cables of the first generation version. Their workmanship is completely comparable to the router itself, and they don't feel cheap. This time, the length of the network cable has also been upgraded to Plus, but there is only one cable, so I have to take the trouble to adapt another cable. I think it is totally possible to match a shorter one, isn't it.

It's depressing for those who lose power in the dormitory at night. This power supply mode directly strangles the way of using mobile power supply. Here again, let's make the voltage adapter smaller if it can be smaller. It's better not to plug 220V directly. Sincerely request. As in the previous generation, the output of the power adapter is 24V 0.8A.

After talking about the above accessories, let's talk about the protagonist - Plus. Because I am a user of the first generation of products, I compare the first generation of Bihoo with Plus in all aspects to see where its upgrade lies? What kind of Plus is it.

First of all, which do you prefer, round or rectangle? I believe that the majority of people agree with me that "all things are extremely exquisite, and there is nothing out of round". Circle is the beauty of 360 degree symmetry. Why are all the stars spherical in the universe? That's the choice of nature, the aesthetics in the eyes of nature. The rectangle of Plus is not bad looking, but it is not particularly flattering in front of its huge size. If the size is smaller, it may also be a "handsome young man". If Huaxin Lianchuang can launch the double flagship of round Bihoo and rectangular Plus when Bihoo routes the second generation, I'm still looking forward to it.

In terms of configuration, I detailed the hardware comparison between the two products. As you can see, except for the Plus processor, the other hardware is exactly the same. Please, you are a Plus, and you have no ambition at all.

As for Plus, compared with the improved "air four zone engine" of the first generation - Air X technology and dual PA and dual LNA, ha ha, I don't feel it. It's my fault that I'm not a professional who can't get through love.

The first generation of Bihu has two colors: obsidian black and Athens white, while the Plus has only one color: white. I guess it's right. I don't like such a large black router. Plus is close to the previous generation in terms of design language and style. The upper part is made of original German Bayer polycarbonate, and the lower part is made of magnesium aluminum alloy. Let alone you don't know these two materials. The back shell of plastic mobile phones is polycarbonate, and the metal of iPhones is magnesium aluminum alloy. ▼ The performance on the APP is something that makes me a little happy. This version of the APP is much better than the version a few months ago. It makes the APP purely as a control router into an intelligent community with a social nature, which makes me feel bright.

The one button move function with password will make people who have forgotten your broadband password for a long time no longer have to think hard. What we should pay attention to here is that we should power up the two Bihoos at the same time and plug the network cable into the WAN port of the Plus, then connect the LAN port of the Plus with the WAN port of the old route with a single network cable, and then link the mobile phone to the WIFI of the Plus. The password can be moved by one button only when prompted.

It seems that non intelligent routers are not suitable for this method of password extraction.

In APP, you can realize the basic control of Plus.

There is no need to talk about the original functions, such as timing tasks, network speed testing and optimization, and signal strength based on indoor area layout. I want to talk about the interesting new functions.

In terms of safety, Bihoo added another threshold: SSID， When this function is turned on, the name of BhuWIFI in the mobile phone's WIFI list will disappear. You can only add WIFI name and password manually through "More Options". This move simply dumbfounded those who had been using the master key to wipe the net. Anyway, I was dumbfounded.

This time, Bihoo has integrated the secure sharing network and the Uplink visitor mode into the connection mode of the sharing network. This is also the innovation of the community app. The owner can control this at will. Neither security nor convenience can be lost. Let's give it a good comment!

For the community APP mentioned above, if you share your own WIFI password, you can also use Bihoo Routing and APP, and the students near your home can enjoy the convenience you provide. Of course, they can also give some pocket money at random, but only on a voluntary basis. Helpful partners should worry more about their own network security.

As a user of the previous generation, I have something to say about these two routers in some aspects:

1. The fever problem is very serious. Fortunately, I am satisfied with the fever of Plus.

2. The Plus has removed the USB expansion that I think is basically useless, but it would be better if the Plus could have 16 or 32G of internal storage space in such a large body.

3. In terms of body shape, if such a large volume can be plugged and powered by batteries, it must be a good thing for students who power off at night. If 220V AC power can be changed to 5V mobile power supply, I strongly recommend it to students!

4. First of all, I don't think that the internal space of Plus is fully utilized, so I can properly add the two functions I mentioned above. If not, we should really make it smaller. After all, for routers, if they are not hot and flagship, the big ones of home routers may be reduced items, and the points earned in terms of appearance will be wasted.

5. 5G network. I hope I can see it on the second generation of Bihoo products.
