However, because the attenuation of 5G signals is more serious than 2.4G, the transmission distance is weaker than 2.4G. The TOTOLINK A700R is different from the traditional router that used to copy and paste public boards. The overall routing base is a square, and the top is covered with dense heat sink holes. The shell of A700R still adopts the traditional white ABS plastic material, which ensures the firmness of the equipment. The design of the antenna is also very personalized. The A700R provides six ports, one power supply port, four LAN ports, and one WAN port on the side. Each port is distinguished by different colors. The A700R supports 1200M speed, but is not equipped with a gigabit network port, which is somewhat puzzling.  
The A700R is equipped with four external omnidirectional antennas, two at 2.4GHz and two at 5GHz, with a gain of 5dbi. The color and material are consistent with the body. The antenna is fixed and cannot be disassembled. The angle can be adjusted at will to adapt to various environments to improve coverage and signal quality.
The panel light adopts a hidden design, and there is no opening for the indicator light on the plastic surface. After the power is turned on, the color of the indicator light is reflected from below the panel, and the function description is printed on the panel corresponding to each indicator light. The A700R has a distinctive key. One side of the key is WPS, and the other side is the Reset hole. The WPS key is used for one key encryption, while the reset requires a needle or other tip to poke into the Reset hole, which is slightly inconvenient. Why not design both buttons.

When the power is turned on for the first time, two TOTOLINK wireless signals can be seen in the Wifi list. If the device does not support 5G signals, only one can be seen. Click any connection and enter 192.168.0.1 to enter the setting page.

Enter the login page, enter the user name and password, and the system will automatically jump to the one key setting page. The setting template used by TOTOLINK is similar to traditional routes such as TPlink. Users who have known about it can basically complete the setting without relying on the manual.
One click settings can basically meet the requirements of most users who have no special requirements. Select the connection method, enter the broadband account password, set the wireless SSID and password, and click Application to complete it. If you need more settings, you can click Advanced Settings in the upper right corner. One click setting really greatly facilitates the user's initial setting of the router.
In the advanced setting interface, from the navigation on the right, the setting content is very rich. Not only are there traditional basic settings, firewalls, system management, etc., but also 2.4G and 5G signals can be set separately, realizing mutual interference and cooperation between the two.  
In addition to being used as an ordinary router, the A700R can also meet the needs of different usage scenarios by setting three modes: bridge mode, trunk mode, and WPS mode, eliminating the need to manually brush firmware in the later stage. The basic settings provide users with the ability to set the SSID, that is, the wireless name. At the same time, you can choose the encryption method and password. In addition, the A700R also has the multi AP setting function, which is called hotel mode on some routes. Users can isolate different users through multi AP settings to ensure the security of the local area network.
The A700R also supports Qos. Through Qos settings, you can limit the upload and download rate in the LAN, or you can limit the speed of a single IP device terminal to ensure that the entire network speed is not affected by a single user's download.
In addition to the web page on the PC side, TOTOLINK also supports app settings on the mobile side. At present, there are two kinds of apps that can set A700R. One is to download the official TOTOLIKN APP, connect the mobile phone wirelessly, and enter the APP to set. The setting steps are simple and easy to understand.
In addition to settings, APP can also count device traffic, but currently only three types of ports can be counted, and it is temporarily impossible to count individual devices. In the device management project, speed limits or blackouts can be applied to networked devices to prevent network scraping.
Compared with the official app of TOTOLINK, Alibaba Intelligent is more sophisticated. In addition to basic settings of routes, it can also control them remotely. It can also control those who are not at home. In addition, Alibaba Intelligent also provides the function of regular routing reservation. For office workers who work from nine to five, it can set the switching time of routes, which is green and environmentally friendly, and can refuse to waste.
