Both Xiaomi and Meizu have launched their flagship in the first half of the year, and the photography performance of Xiaomi 5 and PRO 6 is naturally the object of concern. Xiaomi has IMX298+4-axis optical anti shake, while Meizu PRO 6 has new tuning. Now let's see their proof comparison. In order to make it easier for everyone to understand their position in the photo leaderboard, this additional comparison object is the belief benchmark iPhone 6s Plus.
Photo experience
There is no need to say more about the iPhone's photo experience. The machine can automatically determine whether to turn on HDR and night view modes, Post processing will be processed in the background, The user can take photos as soon as they pick it up. The focusing, shutter response and imaging speed that most affect the experience are relatively fast, and the film rate is high;
Xiaomi 5 can also automatically judge whether to turn on the night view mode, while the automatic HDR function provides a switch. It may be that Xiaomi also finds that its HDR algorithm needs to be improved. But the rest of the focusing, shutter, imaging speed, and yield are good;
Meizu PRO 6 does not provide automatic HDR function, but can automatically judge whether to open night view mode. The imaging speed of the machine is significantly improved compared with the previous generation, but the response and focusing speed when clicking the screen are significantly slower. In addition, the absence of optical anti shake directly affects the film yield.
Wide angle size
The pixels of the three machines are respectively 2100, 12 and 16 million pixels, and the sample sizes are relatively obvious.

The rightmost side of the sample sheet (PRO 6 sample sheet has an additional column)
The equivalent focal length of PRO 6 cannot be read directly, and the calculation result is close to 24mm, while that of iPhone is 29mm, and that of Xiaomi 5 is 28mm. It is the flagship phone with the shortest focus (i.e. the largest wide-angle). In addition, the edge deterioration control of several machines is good.
Comparison of scenery range
Isometric amplification and comparison of samples
PRO 6's pixel advantage is flattened due to the exaggeration of wide-angle. After the same scene is shot and magnified proportionally, the size of the scene is only a little larger than that of iPhone and a little smaller than that of Xiaomi 5.

metering : The three machines are relatively close, and PRO 6 is slightly brighter in the light scene. In low light scenes, they all have different levels of picture brightness deficiency, especially PRO 6, Xiaomi 5 and iPhone.
White balance/saturation : IPhone has a slight green tendency, but PRO 6 and Xiaomi 5 have a relatively obvious bias. PRO 6 is red, Xiaomi 5 is green, It will be easier to find when large gray areas appear. The two rivals of Xiaomi Meizu are even different from each other... In addition, PRO 6 has a more obvious problem of decreasing saturation under weak light.
Discriminative power : The PRO 6, which is "high pixel but large wide-angle", is at the bottom all the way, even worse than the iPhone with 12 million pixels. Of course, this is the price of super wide angle, and users have to judge their own gains and losses. In addition, the PRO 6 has no optical anti shake, and can only go ISO when the light gets worse, which is much more serious than the other two machines;
Xiaomi 5, which is "medium pixel and medium wide angle", plays with PRO 6 and iPhone in the light and weak light scenes. When Xiaomi 5 starts the night view mode, there will be noise that will greatly affect the appearance, and the white balance will be more obviously green, but the analytical power remains relatively complete. Although the extremely weak light scene is not as good as the iPhone 6s Plus, it has been quite surprising.
