Previously, we evaluated 360 secure routing mini (P0), which gives us the impression that it is fast, economical, affordable, and good signal performance make it the best choice in the low-end router market. The 360 Secure Routing 5G (P2) we want to evaluate this time is a high-end product of the 360 Secure Routing series. It brings a stronger 5G channel on the basis of intelligent routing, and its signal performance also exceeds that of similar 5G routing products.
appearance
The packaging of 360 security route 5G is almost the same as that of security route mini, which is relatively simple on the whole, and there is not much description on the packaging box. After unpacking, we see that there is a 360 security route 5G, a power adapter, and the instructions.
It can be seen that the shape of 360 security routing 5G is an enlarged version of 360 security routing mini. 360 security route 5G adopts U-shaped four antenna+anodized aluminum alloy fuselage, and the fuselage thickness is only 3mm. The U-shaped antenna can rotate 270 °, and can also be used to support routing.
360 Secure Route 5G is equipped with four LAN ports and one USB port. The interface specification is not luxurious. 360 security route 5G U-shaped 4 antenna adopts dual 2X2MINO architecture, half is used to transmit 2.4G frequency band, and the other half is used to transmit 5G frequency band.
360 Safe Route 5G uses a common power adapter. The cable is about 1 meter long and is made of thick plastic wire.
App
The use of 360 Secure Routing 5G is very simple. For the first use, you only need to download the 360 Secure Routing App, and then connect the mobile phone Wi Fi directly to 360 Secure Routing 5G (no password is required for the first connection). Then open the 360 Secure Routing App, and you can match the app to 360 Secure Routing 5G with one click settings.
Functionally, the 360 secure route 5G adds 5GWi Fi to the 360 secure route mini, so the 360 secure route 5G actually sends two Wi Fi, one in the 2.4G band and the other in the 5G band. If not set, the two Wi Fi are the same password for common use. 360 Secure Routing App has rich functions, such as freely connecting router devices, controlling traffic, monitoring traffic, setting white list, children surfing the Internet, network diagnosis, etc.

The maximum uplink speed of our bandwidth is 2048KB/s, and the maximum downlink speed is 3072KB/s. We are located in the office 8 meters away from the 360 security route 5G, and separated by a wall. The measured 2.4G Wi Fi speed is 753KB/s uplink: 632KB/s downlink: 632KB/s, 5G Wi Fi: uplink: 2547KB/s; downlink: 988KB/s . We measured the 2.4G Wi Fi speed again at a distance of 10 meters from the router and two walls apart. The uplink speed was 477KB/s, and the downlink speed was 529KB/s, 5G Wi Fi: uplink: 863KB/s; downlink: 2583KB/s.
Limit network speed test
Test environment: 1 meter away from 360 wireless routing 5G without barrier in the office.
In the extreme network speed test, the speed of 5G Wi Fi has completely reached the level of wired transmission, while the speed of 2.4G Wi Fi has been greatly limited.

Stability and packet switching rate of 2.4G Wi Fi
Stability and packet switching rate of 5G Wi Fi
The test environment is in our office (at least 70 powered on mobile phones+70 powered on computers). The author uses his laptop to connect to the 2.4 Wi Fi and 5GWi Fi of the 360 secure route 5G, and pings the domain names of Baidu and Sina Weibo respectively. In the case of 2.4G Wi Fi, the packet loss rate of 25% occurred only once, and in the case of 5G Wi Fi, the packet loss rate was 0%. In terms of network delay, the delay in both Wi Fi environments is very low, about 30ms on average.
Stability experience test
Left: 2.4GWi Fi Play games Right: 5G Wi Fi Play games
Also in our office (at least 70 powered on mobile phones+70 powered on computers), we use iPhone 6 Plus to connect 2.4G Wi Fi and 5G Wi Fi sent by 360 security route 5G respectively, and conduct a 30 minute game to test the stability of Wi Fi and the drop frequency.
Results: In the case of 2.4G Wi Fi, there was only one slight network time that lasted to about 1000ms. Most of the time, the game was played smoothly, and there was no disconnection. In the case of 5G Wi Fi, there is almost no network delay, the whole game is very smooth, and there is no disconnection.
Summary:
According to the test, the uplink and downlink transmission speed of 360 Secure Routing 5G is significantly improved when 5G Wi Fi is used. Especially in the case of long distance and blocking, the advantages of 5G Wi Fi will be more obvious. Since most of today's Wi Fi uses the 2.4G band, and there are quite a lot of mobile phones and computer devices in the office environment, the speed of the 2.4G band will be greatly limited in this environment, while the 5G band has more channels and fewer devices, and its speed is even no different from that of wired transmission.
Due to the price reduction and speed increase of bandwidth, 2.4G Wi Fi is difficult to meet the needs of daily life and office work today. 5G Wi Fi will give us a more pleasant experience in speed. 360 Secure Routing 5G, as an upgraded version of 360 Secure Routing, has indeed brought us many surprises. It not only supports 5G frequency band on the basis of intelligent routing, but also has a very user-friendly price.
