According to foreign media reports, Microsoft will hold the Microsoft Build Developers Conference in San Francisco on March 30, when Microsoft will release universal applications for all Xbox models and open the Xbox platform at the same time.
Microsoft has proposed the concept of Xbox universal application for some time. At last year's MWC 2015 conference, Microsoft showed the public the Windows 10 application running on Xbox One. At present, developers can develop Xbox One applications, but they are limited to the Xbox platform, and cannot run on computers, tablets, mobile phones and Xbox One at the same time. They are not general Windows 10 applications promoted by Microsoft.
Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft's Xbox business, posted a tweet on his personal Twitter, "Microsoft will discuss the further development of the Windows common platform with developers at the Build conference at the end of this month." Phil· Spencer also hit back at the comments made by Tim Sweeney, the former co founder of Epic Games: "Windows has always been an open ecosystem. All hardware and software manufacturers are welcome to cooperate, and we will always maintain this philosophy." Tim Sweeney has publicly said that Microsoft violates the spirit of the open platform, Instead, we try to make a whole set of Microsoft products into a "walled garden".
