The Bihoo intelligent router is packed in a hard paper box, which is very strong and resistant to pressure and falling. There are gilded logo icons of Bihu on both sides. The overall design style is simple and grand.

When I opened the top cover, I saw the Bihoo intelligent router that made me feel amazing. It was unexpectedly beautiful, very well made, round and smooth on the whole, with piano paint on the surface, and no patterns or words on the front. It is extremely smooth and can be used as a mirror.

All interfaces of the Bihoo intelligent router are in the middle circle. There are not many interfaces. Because the Bihoo intelligent router uses a very special POE power supply mode, the power supply port is also RJ45. Next to the power interface are the Reset button and the LAN network interface. On the other side is the USB interface. The visual version is USB2.0

The back of the Bihoo intelligent router is very interesting. There should be a Bihoo logo on the back, as well as the management address and login password of the router. The back is mainly painted with the same piano paint as the front, plus a circle of anti-skid rubber pad. It can keep the router stable. Why is the back interesting? Because the back is magnetic and can be adsorbed on the metal surface. The author tested that the Bihoo would not fall off when it was adsorbed on the refrigerator, but it would not take much strength to remove it. With this magnetic adsorption function, the placement of Bihoo intelligent routers will be diversified.

Bihoo doesn't have many accessories, including a power cable, a network cable, a POE adapter, and a manual.

The interfaces of POE adapters are RJ45 network ports. This adapter is too special to purchase, so you must be careful when using it.

The guarantee for the two lines is also very special. At first, the author thought it was just a simple category 5 line, which was very common, but I didn't expect that the two lines that Bihoo matched were so well made. Surprise the author. It is a pity that although there is a mark on the box, there is no mark on the wire for power cord or network cable. Fortunately, the interfaces are all marked with colors. I suggest that the wires can also be marked with colors. In addition, when the author inserted the two lines for use, he found that both of them had buckled and deformed at one side. Although they were not broken, they did not work. I don't know if this is a problem of packing extrusion.

This is the general connection mode. Relatively speaking, the wire material should be sorted out and not so messy.

After powering on, we can see that the indicator light in the middle of the router is red, which means that the router is starting.

The POE adapter is very large. At least two 10 hole sockets are required, which is inconvenient. I suggest that it can be made into a vertical socket.

In fact, the red and blue lights alternate here, which means that the Internet cannot be accessed, because it has not been set up, so the Internet cannot be accessed naturally. After the setting is completed, the Internet Tongle will light the blue light for a long time.

Experience:

At the beginning of the experience, I was going to familiarize myself with all the function setting options of Bihoo through the mobile APP. So they didn't prepare to change the router or bind the phone. After the author went through the APP, he found that the lack of Internet connection was not a big problem, and the lack of mobile phone binding was the key. If the phone is not bound, most of the main functions are useless. The author does not understand this idea, because the binding of mobile phones is mainly remote management. However, many functions of the APP should not be disabled because the phone is not bound. Let's put the cart before the horse. The main function of the intelligent router should be the router function, and the intelligent function is used to assist the router function to play a greater role.

Through the APP, you need to connect to Bihoo first. At this time, we will be asked to bind our mobile phones. However, there is no Internet access, and we cannot send verification codes, so we cannot bind our mobile phones. Therefore, the logical relationship is wrong.

After connecting to Bihoo's wifi, the APP will prompt you to start setting up the network. The author originally planned to use the bridge function to let Bihoo intelligent router access the Internet. Results In the setup wizard, there is no such function, only broadband, dynamic IP, static IP, etc. Because we need to be familiar with the functions first, I will skip it here.

Then start setting the wifi password, and wait for the router to reconfigure after setting. After the router is configured, we need to reconnect the wifi and enter the password. This time, when you enter the APP, you will see the router management interface. So the author will be familiar with the interface and functions. Then the author found the big problem of not binding the phone. Except for simple settings, most of the functions are unusable and can only be used after the phone is bound.

The adjustment of signal strength function is very ingenious. Here we can adjust the signal strength according to our own house type. There is also a reminder of the placement of the router. Here the author suggests adding the parameter of room square. Signal strength is recommended according to house type and square number. This should be more reasonable. If the later functions are further expanded, it is suggested to add the model building function, provide modules, let users build their own actual room structure, and let the rear router intelligently judge the best placement position according to the room structure. If it has this function, it is perfect.

After roughly understanding the functions of the APP, the author replaced and installed the Bihoo router, bound the receiver first, and set personal information. When you enter the management interface, you will be prompted that you must upgrade before you can use it. What the author wants to say here is why it can't be used without updating If the user feels stable enough, it is normal not to upgrade. It is suggested to leave users free choice. However, I didn't choose not to upgrade, so I'm not sure whether it will not work without upgrading. Hehe~~

It will take some time to upgrade. After entering the APP again, all restrictions will be lifted.

Important functions such as previously unavailable statistics, Bihoo Forum, network speed test, and intelligent plug-ins can be accessed normally.

In terms of terminal management, the author's mobile phones and computers are all undefined manufacturers It means that the database is not rich enough, which needs to be improved in the later stage. Otherwise, a bunch of devices will be connected without definition, which is also very ugly. In terms of terminal management, there is a special point that the speed of mobile phones accessed by APP cannot be limited. In addition, this management can also set the blacklist function. No matter what device is blacklisted, the author cannot use this function normally. But today I accidentally used this function to solve the problem caused by a bug. I won't mention it here, but I will explain it carefully later.

Network speed test function, accurate network identification, the author. Even Unicom, the network speed test is very accurate. Although the author is 12M, the download is always 17M and 8M. And the address recognition is also very accurate.

The most important part of the intelligent router is the intelligent function. The intelligent function of Bihoo is reflected in the intelligent plug-in. Not many functions, very practical. They are visitor network, wifi timing switch, network speed optimization, U disk storage, terminal online notification, and peripheral detection.

Visitor network is a very practical function to avoid the disclosure of our wifi password. The normal visitor network will provide another set of passwords for guests to access, and they will be deleted after use. More intelligent is that the passwords are time effective and invalid after expiration. It doesn't matter if you don't delete it. The visitor network function of Bihoo is intelligent, which I have seen before. The guest network of Bihoo does not need a password. As long as the guest's mobile phone is connected to the guest's wifi, the mobile phone is placed on the Bihoo router, and the network can be used after about 10 seconds. According to my actual test, the connection was completed within 2 seconds.

In this function, the author found a bug, that is, the visitor's mobile phone. The author kicked the mobile phone off through the visitor list. In theory, visitors' mobile phones can't be connected to the Internet. If they need to connect to the Internet, they should be paired on the router again. But the actual situation is completely different. After the visitors' mobile phones are kicked off, they can connect to the visitors' network again, and can access the Internet without pairing. At this time, the visitor list will not detect the visitor's mobile phone, which means that the visitor's mobile phone is invisible. In addition, this situation cannot be solved when the guest network is turned off and turned on again or when the router is restarted. As long as the guest network is turned on, the guest mobile phone can be directly connected, and the router cannot detect the connection of the guest. After various tests by the author, the solution is to first pull the visitor's mobile phone into the blacklist in terminal management (offline at this time), and then restore it from the blacklist. At this time, when a visitor's mobile phone connects to the visitor's wifi, it needs to be paired again. The guest phone can also be detected in the guest list after pairing. This is what the author said above about solving a bug with a blacklist.

As a router, you can definitely manage the settings through the PC, and the Bihoo router is no exception. The management setting function on the PC side is the same as that on the APP side, even more simplified in some places. So the author will not repeat here. The only thing worth mentioning is that access to mobile storage is not available in the management interface. You must enter "bhuwifi" through the resource manager to access it, which is similar to the home network.
