One and a half years later, Xiaomi Mobile Phone 5 was finally released. The new phone uses new design elements, supports frontal fingerprint identification, and is equipped with Snapdragon 820 and 16 million pixel camera with 4-axis anti shake. At the same time, Xiaomi mobile phone 4S was also released. Although it also has a 5-inch 1080P screen and Snapdragon 808, it has added fingerprint identification and upgraded double-sided glass and metal frames.

Xiaomi 5 cancels the 2.5D glass of the previous generation. The front screen is a whole piece of flat glass, and the metal frame is slightly higher than the screen.

The Home key with fingerprint identification is very long and narrow, and the keys on both sides are dotted with backlight. The volume ratio of the Home key is a bit strange. In addition, the smaller area may affect the speed and direction compatibility of fingerprint recognition, but the specific performance will not be confirmed until the actual test.

The back is still the familiar 3D glass, but the metal frame does not use the previous chamfer design, the overall matte and increased bending surface, and the grip feel has been significantly improved.

In addition, it is worth noting that the logo on the back of the black version is very low-key and can hardly be seen in the figure.

Xiaomi claims to use an ultra narrow border, but on the white version, it uses a black treatment similar to "ID without border", which creates the illusion of big black edges running horses. However, the black edges on the screen are really running horses.

The top is 3.5mm interface, infrared controller and noise reducing microphone.

Xiaomi 5 adopts USB Type-C interface, with speakers and microphones placed symmetrically on both sides.

In terms of packaging, the high configuration version of Xiaomi mobile phone 5 also uses white paper boxes similar to the Hongmi series.

Accessories include charger, power cord and card taking pin.

Xiaomi 5 supports Qualcomm QC3.0 fast charging, and the charger supports 5V 2.5A, 9V 2A 12V 1.5A three outputs.

Xiaomi mobile phone 4S

Compared with Xiaomi 5, even the lilac version of Xiaomi 4S for female users is more acceptable. The front design element is still the familiar millet flavor, and the lavender front panel is also covered with glitter diamond powder, which is quite bright. The default theme is also "stockings grid" on Red Rice 3.

The back is a whole piece of screen glass, which is quite similar to the flavor of iPhone 4s. There is a fingerprint identification module in the position symmetrical to the logo.

The metal frame with radians has bright chamfers at the top and bottom, and is lavender/pink. There is a sim card slot on the left side of the fuselage.

The buttons are concentrated on the right side, and there is an antenna partition strip above (there is no antenna strip at the corresponding position on the left side).

The other antenna partition bar on the top is integrated with the headphone interface. The infrared remote control is on the right, and the noise reduction microphone is on the other end.

The bottom is still symmetrically placed speakers and microphones, and the machine uses USB Type-C interface.
